Our Mom could not be happier since moving from her home to Oak Park Place. She had been declining both mentally & physically while living at home alone, no longer driving and all of her outside of the home activities ceased during COVID. Once we took her on a tour of Oak Park Place, she told us that she wanted to live there and was ready to fill out an application immediately. We sold her home & she moved in to Oak Park 2 years ago in May. She did a complete turnaround. She loves all of the social activities, including bingo, crafts, music entertainment, and so much more, plus 3 good meals a day and snacks, and no longer having to dine alone. The staff are all wonderful & caring. Mom tells us nearly every day how happy she is and how much she loves living at Oak Park Place.

I have been a Cook at Oak Park Place Baraboo since November 2015. The dietary team and I really enjoy being able to share our love of food and cooking with all of our residents. The scheduling is very flexible, beautiful house and grounds, and a lot of friendly smiles. ♥️

My mother has been a resident of Oak Park Place in the Memory Care area for a couple of months now. The care staff are kind and patient. They have activities scheduled all day long if you want to participate. I like that they are fully staffed unlike many other care homes. They make this setting as homey as they can.

Best place to be. Great food, staff and the new friends you meet. Everyone that works there treats you like a family member. When your new someone is always checking to make sure things are going well or if you have any questions. You feel safe and have no worries. There is always something to do. They have music and Happy Hour on Fridays which is Awesome. The grounds are beautiful well taken care of. They have transportation if need be. Just a Great place to be.

I have worked at Oak Park Place since 2017 with a 1 year gap in between to move back home. Oak Park Place welcomed me back & I am so thankful for the residents & co workers I have. Everyone there is truly a family! I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

A family member resides here. The staff is courteous, thorough and caring. Plenty of activities for the residents and they really enjoy it here. They take safety very seriously here which puts family members at ease.

We purchased an Amazon Fire for my parents, happy residents at OPP. Michelle Burch in Activities was extremely helpful in helping my mom get it all set up. It is so important for them to keep in touch with family. Michelle went above and beyond in working with and teaching my Mom the new device (many hours). Thanks to Michelle, we can now zoom with my mom and dad. OPP is so very fortunate to have Michelle as a caring, patient, pleasant employee.

My dad has been in assisted living for a few weeks now and is feeling very secure in his new surroundings. He moved from independent living and the transition was smooth with the help of Oak Park staff who did everything in their power to see that my dad was comfortable with the move. The facility is lovely and my father takes advantage the large open spaces available to all. I would highly recommend this facility.

Oak Park Place in Baraboo is a beautiful senior living community that Ive been inside of many time through friends and family. The staff is generous and caring and the building is always clean and well kept. Also the heated garage there is such a sweet perk! Its so toasty down there! I recommend Oak Park Place whenever I get the opportunity.

Choosing the right place for our mom has been one of the most difficult decisions we have made. Our mom suffered a stroke and needed the necessary facility that would give her the love, care and attention that she needed. Now try this process with a nationwide pandemic. Definitely not an easy process without it but even worse with it. We knew that she would be best moving back to the area she raised our family and be closer to family that could visit her more often. Plus hearing the word Baraboo just warmed her heart. Reading reviews and being in close contact with the placement staff made this decision an easier choice. We were set to have her go to a different facility but when we met with the placement staff, we just could not move forward. We are grateful for the love and care our mom receives everyday. This facility has been wonderful with communicating with family as well as addressing concerns and needs. There is a beauty salon and our mom loves Jennifer for those extra special weekly beauty moments. We are looking forward to the time when we can be with her for more than just a short visit. Ive been coming to Oak Park Place for over 5 yrs now as an Agrace hospice aide. I am so impressed with the staff, the care of the residents, and the cleanliness of the entire building. Everyone is so sweet here! The activities department is just amazing! There is so much to do here, and it feels like a warm family environment. I would recommend OPP for your loved ones.

Oak Park Please is wonderful! I have worked here for almost two years and I can honestly say this place is the best place I have ever worked! The residents are great! Lived here for 4 months. Staff is really responsive and interested in all residents. Meals are great, with lots of variety. Especially the ribs and sausage and sauerkraut. Maintenance is terrific, very knowledgeable and friendly. So glad we made the move. While Covid requires some restrictions, we will get past it and be able to meet and greet all who live here.

Weve been here for about 6 months. We love it here. No worries about shoveling etc. We feel very safe. Food is very good. I love not having to cook! But if I do want to cook the kitchen is very efficient. Love it!

My father has lived here for ten years - a rarity in elder-care living! Oak Park has been a Godsend for him and for his family. We are so thankful. The best part about the independent living side is that he can be involved with as many-or as few - activities as he chooses. Theres no pressure, but many opportunities. We would recommend Oak Park to anyone asking about Independent Senior Living.

Im starting my 7th year here. The staff have been great to my husband and me. My husband was in memory care for almost 4 yrs. The care staff were the greatest! I still get a hug from many of them. I was not from the Baraboo area and came here because my family was near. The residents here have accepted me and I can call many of them great friends.

My parents chose to live at Oak Park Place when it was time to move out of their home of 41 years. They had visited ahead of time and put their name on a waiting list. My parents first started out in a beautiful independent living 3rd floor apartment facing the bluffs. They loved their apartment and all the friends they meet. They already knew many people at Oak Park. They met many more through all the activities and dinner time meals together.When my father became ill with congestive heart failure and my mother wasnt able to care for him alone. Oak Park worked with us to move into hospice and respites care. My mother didnt drive anymore and it was important for her to visit with my dad. They had been married 61 years!. After my father passed a way, my mother needed more assistance. We were able to move her into the assisted living wing. Altogether now, its been 8 years living at Oak Park Place. They have wonderful larger rooms for family to gather and celebrate holidays and special events. Our family has only very positive praise for them and there very caring staff. They strive to be a family. AND they are!!! They have taken precautions during COVID to keep everyone safe! Its been outstanding! Thank you for your wonderful care of my mother and my father. The most amazing place and staff! My husbands parents entered during COVID19 and they did a great job keeping them safe. The staff is very kind, caring and compassionate. When my husbands father deteriorated, they were amazing in getting them moved to assisted living and helping to get hospice care. Would highly recommend Oak Park Place!!

My parents spent several years at Oak Park Assisted Living. The staff was by far the most caring and compassionate group I have ever met. They treated my parents like family. The activities worked great for my dad as he made several friends during his time there. I will be forever grateful for the care they received. The night that my father passed away the staff stayed with us. They politely asked if we wanted privacy but I knew they cared about him as much as we did. As a daughter the peace of mind knowing your parents are well taken care of is priceless. Oak Park place is highly recommended!!
