I was so happy to show visitors our lovely home during Evening on the Green last week. Residents of Village Green Retirement Community and more than 500 visitors enjoyed hors doeuvres, canapés, wine and listed to a variety of music at three locations in the communitys venue. It was a truly inspiring summer garden party! I am lucky to enjoy the company of so many friends and glorious floral gardens. I cant wait for The Fall Apple Festival and Dessert Social on September 24th. Apple desserts, caramel apple cider…mmm good! I will be ready to show more guests our lovely accommodations, taste creative desserts and sample our wide variety of activities.~ J.A.

My husband was at Village Green assisted living for a month. During that time I spent almost everyday with him. I was amazed at the excellent care he received, no matter where he was in the building they found him to give him his pills on time. The food was excellent the menu offered an excellent selection. All the areas are beautiful and well kept up. All the help know your name. I cant say enough good about Village Green, it is first class in every way.

We have visited Village Green several times and always found friendly and helpful staff and residents. Several residents were so kind as to let us into their apartments so we could see what they look like. Today we added our name to the wait list, and are looking forward to when we can move in..

The minute I drove into Village Green 6 years ago I knew this was the place I wanted to call home. It is so beautiful with all of the trees and flowers. Two weeks after moving here I already felt like I had been here a year. All the staff and residents are so friendly. They make you feel at home. Village Green offers so many activities, outings, shopping trips, Dr. appointments, games to play, lots of music and a great fitness instructor. The campus is very close to all of the shopping you could ask for. Michael, our chef, is fantastic. I have been on the Resident Council for four years and you could not ask for a nice place to call home. I would highly recommend Village Green to anyone looking for a retirement home. I am a very happy resident!

I agree with everything Darlene says about Village Green, but want to add - its the wonderful people who live here that really make Village Green such a terrific place to live. You couldnt find a group of more interesting and caring folks. It is fun to live among them.

For over 15 years, we have truly valued our partnership with Village Green, as we've teamed up to provide high quality care to our seniors. They have been respected members of the community for years and we've had the privilege of their support at many of our events/classes. The staff at Village Green have also graciously allowed us to co-host a caregiver support group with one of their residents, and we greatly appreciate the relationship we have built with both staff and residents at this community.

Katie Krause, is a very loving and caring individual. I have had personal been able to work along side Katie in the Federal Way community and can tell you without a doubt that she cares personally for those that live and work at Village Green. She knows each of them by name and whats going on in there everyday life's. I've also had an opportunity to come over there for a few activities, and was very impressed with not just Katie, but all of Village Green. I would recommend anybody that is looking for a great senior community to live at, I would refer them here.

My Mother-in-law and Father-in- law were residents at the independent living building until my Mother-in-law broke her leg in January. The response of the staff was impressive. She spent 3 weeks at a rehab facility and Village Green arranged for respite care at the Gardens building for assisted living. Her care has been exceptional. The support in coordinating her care and his care has helped our family feel confident that they are both safe and happy. The head nurse, Sue, even came to the rehab facility to be sure the transfer and Village Green would be perfect. Kerren and Kate helped in locating a new unit for them in assisted living. Can't say enough about the staff. We all love our parents and only want the best for them, to be safe and happy. Thank you

I just took a tour and the facilities are very clean and well-managed. People seem happy and the safety features are pretty numerous from what I can see. Exercise pool and classes and excellent food. Hard to beat that!
