I wouldn't give this place anything. This place is only a money hungry organization. They care only about the money they get and not for the families of the loved ones in their care or for their patients. A girl's grandmother died the day before Christmas, she was asking well over seven times for help locating personal belongings of her deceased grandmother only to be ignored, also one nurse sounded so disappointed that she couldn't go into the room to take what she wanted as she admitted they hadn't had gone in yet to clean the room, The girl's grandmother loved to read but due the fact she lost her eye sight because of a careless doctor she had a listening device for audiobooks only to see it was covered in a very thick layer of dust, the girl also asked to get copies of the paperwork of her grandmother for her own personal records, only to be flat out told by a woman named [name removed] that she had no power of attorney so they didn't have to give her anything, when the girl does have the power of attorney of her grandmother, after the girl got the last item of her grandmother's, either that same womannamed [name removed] or another person who worked there scoffed and said very loudly in a rude tone "At least we get her social security!" The girl just loved one for crying out loud and they treated her like this? I'm sorry but this place is not as warm or as friendly as they pretend to be. i seen how they ignore their patients and how poorly they treat them, especially that woman named [name removed]. If you have loved ones there please don't have them stay in a place, that cares only for money and not for the families or their loved ones. Honestly wouldn't give this place even one star.

My step father is in rehab right now working on his PT and OT after a knee surgery. The staff has been wonderful in making him feel at home and helping as needed. Really pushing the rehabilitation, which is much needed. He said the food mimics a really good restaurant.

I like the new machine that takes your temperature and prints out photo visitor sticker. Was happy to see my Aunt in the dinning room. All staff I came in contact with were very friendly. My Aunt is getting great care.

My aunt for whom I was the responsible guardian, stayed at Bel Aire for 2 plus years. The Leadership Team and associates were certainly challenged from time to time by her, but they provide the necessary cares and interactions for my aunt that were essential to her well being as she aged, gradually requiring more and more cares. The interaction I had with the Leadership Team throughout my aunt's time at Bel Aire was always excellent - - clear , efficient and most importantly caring for the needs of my aunt. I am knowledgeable from my business career as well as from my involvement in caring for my parents and in-laws as they aged through to the end of life. Bel Aire Center - Newport VT is a very well managed and operated facility that quickly earned and maintained my respect. Additionally, the efforts by all employees during the extremely challenging COVID periods were both impressive and from my view highly successful. I certainly recommend Bel Air Center for the services it provides.

I work for a lot of elderly people and sometimes these clients receive temporary to long term care from Bel-Aire. Any time I have been to visit any of them, the staff has been friendly and the facility has been clean.

Bel-Aire provided a fantastic environment for my Aunt. She became a member of a community that added value to her remaining years of her life. Our family could not have asked for a better facility and staff. We are eternally grateful for all that was done for her!

I’m posting this for my grandmother who demanded their excellent service be made public. See her writing below. “Bel-Aire Center - many folks love Hawaii or the Grand Canyon. While I understand that, my favorite place is Bel-Aire Rehab in Newport, Vermont. When my 87 year old husband arrived after surgery having spent 16 days in bed, I was worried. He was unable to walk and very weak. My fears were unfounded. This facility is spotless, spacious, and filled with compassionate and skilled employees. The food is delicious and the rooms welcoming. Upon our arrival, the administrator greeting us assuring they would take good care of him. They kept their word.” - Joan Simmons Craftsbury Common, Vermont.

My husband is currently residing at Bel-Aire nursing home for rehabilitation. I can't express how happy I am with the compassionate care he receives here. The girls show so much love and tenderness. A big shout out to Melissa and Chelsea especially. The nursing staff is wonderful as we. Great job to everyone oa Bel-Aire.

My dad stayed at Bel-Aire for about 6 weeks following surgery in 2019. Overall, his experience was mostly positive. I felt welcome whenever I visited and I enjoyed eating meals with him in the dining room. I found it a little disappointing that he didnt get more PT time, since that was a main focus for his stay. The fact that two patient rooms share the same bathroom was very frustrating for him because the resident in the room he shared with would sometimes forget to unlock his side of the door when she was done using the bathroom. He would need to use the bathroom and then find he couldnt access it. That happened fairly often and really should be addressed. No facility can be like home, and this one is no exception. But if the need arises, I think wed consider Bel-Aire again.
