To start, walking into the Gary Residence is peaceful, full of love, supportive, and the teamwork/care for the residences is ALWAYS first. Working here was an amazing opportunity. Not only is the work environment supportive - but the organization also follows "The Best Friends Approach." This approach to caring for the residents is something I have never witness before. Each family's loves one is individualized and cared for in a way that is unique to that person. The executive director has a heart of gold and will go above and beyond for staff and the residence. The DON's in both Residential Care and Memory Care are very knowledgeable, supportive, caring and have a way with continuing the mission for the company that is unique, focused, and empathetic. Working here was a blessing and if I did not have to move, I would continue to work here indefinitely. Did I mention the food is amazing! I highly encourage you to apply and if not for employment, for a loving and caring home for your loved ones!
