Mom is so happy at Dominion Village. She is treated with love, respect, kindness, and dignity. It feels like home to her. They clearly are trained on how to deal with memory care residents. She is never left in soiled clothes, her meds are given correctly and on time. If she has a bad day they offer words of encouragement and know how to redirect her. The value for the money is much better than all the other memory care facilities I checked out in Williamsburg. Her granddaughter Amanda said "the light in Grandma's eyes has returned " after living in her previous facility. Thanks Dominon Village staff and management for knowing how to run a good facility, and making sure memory residents are cared for properly. Mom was depressed and giving up, her spirit was broken in her previous facility. I'm glad her zest for life is coming back. I took mom out Sunday and treated her to Golden corral. She told me" Kitten I really like my new apartment I feel comfortable there." Mom will soon be turning 98 10/10 and I am glad she is at a place that honors her. As the youngest in the family and the only Daughter, there is a very strong bond. Mom lived with me for almost two years. Knowing this facility provides excellent care makeS me very happy. My mom recently moved into Dominion Village and I could not be happier! Dementia is a difficult diagnosis for your loved and you. Beginning the search when you know you can no longer provide care can be daunting. However, from my first tour of the facility, I knew Dominion is where I wanted my mom. Dominion feels like family. My mom is well cared for in a safe, clean and comfortable environment. Every time I visit mom says, " I'm happy here and all the ladies help me." Thank you, Emily, Tabitha, Andrea, Terri and also the entire nursing staff for making Dominion a home. I am forever grateful.

Dominion Village of Williamsburg has a fantastic Memory Care section. My dad is doing well, they keep him engaged and the staff is awesome! They were prepared for dads arrival, found out what he liked, chocolate milk, and welcomed him and us with open arms! I'm so glad we found Dominion Village! They are so respectful to the residents and families and go the extra mile to help in any way they can.

I am absolutely thrilled that my mother resides at Dominion Village at Williamsburg! The staff is amazing! I don't think I can adequately detail how wonderful this journey has been for Mom and our family. She is thriving, active, safe, cared for, etc. Every staff member I have interacted with has been kind, caring, thorough and responsive. Even with her dementia, my mother has commented on how nice everyone has been. I highly recommend Dominion Village at Williamsburg!

Since my mother has made the move to Dominion, we have been nothing short of amazed with her care. The entire staff has made our family feel welcome, has been attentive to my mother's needs and have helped us to feel comfortable with every step of her transition. They have taken the time to get to know what she enjoys and how she responds to different situations to effectively support her with dignity. Also, her personal care needs have never been neglected and have allowed us to spend more quality time with her. We are so grateful for everyone at Dominion and the help they have provided during a very difficult time!

I moved my father and mother into Dominion Village because I was so dissatisfied with where they were living. Dominion cared for my father in their memory care wing until his recent death and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff. The last months of his life he was clean, comfortable, and well cared for.

When she worked at Brookdale Virginia Beach, where my mother resides, she set the bar high for everyone. What a special person. Dominion Village is lucky to have Emily in a leadership position!

My loved one moved in a year ago. Our family has been more than pleased with the care both our parent and we have received throughout this year. I felt like we were walking the paths of care and concerns alone, but feel truly blessed that the Patient Care coordinator and Acting Executive Director, Jessica Kelly, have provided the support we need to ensure that our loved one receives the appropriate care for continued health of not only physical but of heart and mind and spirit as well.

Excellent facility. All the staff are upbeat, friendly and helpful. The director, Deirdre Lund, is exceptional. if you need something done, she is the person to see. Could not be more friendly and helpful. My wife feels right at home there. We could not be happier.

My father lives on Dominion Village memory care unit. He is taken care of very well. I have noticed a change for the better since he has been here. MY father loves it here, when we go to take him out, he does not want to leave. The nursing staff takes good care of him. The food is great. I highly recommend, that anyone that needs care for a family member choose Dominion Village.

My dad is receiving excellent care from the aides and the administration at Dominion Village of Williamsburg. They are interested in his well-being and his overall happiness. The only thing that would make his stay more pleasant would be for the facilities to be updated and modernized, so that everyone can take advantage of the technology that is available today.

The staff is outstanding. When you walk into an unfamiliar place it can be intimidating BUT not here. The overwhelming feeling of "home" and welcoming was amazing. I would like to personally thank Jessica Kelley. She was very informative, quickly greeted us and had a smile all the way through. Even with answering all our 100 questions. If you are looking for a small, cozy community for a family member, Dominion Village is the place for your loved one. Our friendly, caring staff is able to touch each resident on a daily basis. Our Bridge To Rediscovery is safe, secure and able to personally interact with each resident on a very intimate level. We love our residents, staff and family members!!!!

Dominion Village is a hidden jewel on Longhill Rd. The administration was willing to go the extra mile to answer questions and fill out the paper work. The design is well thought out. It is a quiet and soothing environment from the colors of the wall to the natural light coming in every room. The nurses are caring of their clients. They become family and care as such. From the day my mother in law walked in, and later left the facility (deceased) her flow of life was respected. A special thank you to the administration, and the staff for a positive experience in a assisted living facility.
