As a former employee I wanted to take a moment to say how much I enjoyed working here. I had worked in several facilities previously and have seen both the good and the bad in end of life care. The staff at Poet's Walk genuinely care for the residents as if they are their own family. Sometimes buying them things out of their own pocket to just see them smile. To this day I miss being employed there however my own personal health prevented me from continuing. I will always fondly remember both Staff and Residents who felt like family. I would put my own family there if they ever needed such a thing.

Dissatisfied with Mom's prior home...we researched and found Poet's Walk in Warrenton. From day one Carol Rose made her feel like she was home and has served as a constant conduit of information on days we were unable to be there. The entire team; from Terry out front, to Jodi, Tracy and their staff have made us comfortable knowing Mom is well cared for. We have recommended Poet's Walk to friends who are now able experience what do with their loved ones. I Highly recommend this place and Carol Rose's willingness to go above and beyond to care for her residents.

The staff at Poets Walk Warrenton in phenomenal! I moved both my parents there this week, from a different facility. They not only assisted with moving items. They also transported my parents and made them feel comfortable until we arrived. They also went above and beyond, cleaning items and setting up their room for them (since Covid is currently a factor). I cannot thank them enough for all of the support and care my Mom and Dad (and I) have been given! I highly recommend this beautiful and well maintained Memory Care Home.

If it were possible, I would give Poets Walk Warrenton 6 stars. From the moment I was referred to them by A Place for Mom throughout the time they cared from my grandfather until his death, they provided EXCEPTIONAL professional, personalized, and thoughtful care. The administrative staff, the dining staff, the maintenance staff, the cleaning staff, and the care staff were all absolutely stellar and thoughtful in their personalized care, concern, compassion, understanding and professionalism. Each staff member had a personal touch and thoughtfulness to their approach with my grandfather and our family. It was very clear that this was not just a job for them, but a natural calling to provide the absolute best memory care services possible. They set the standard in customer service, communicating every single detail, and noting each preference in a customized and attentive manner. This level of care is no easy feat in our current COVID pandemic but they execute this extraordinary management effortlessly. Their facility is fairly new, considerably clean, and well maintained with soft colors, spacious rooms, beautiful furnishings, and nice artwork. They offer a wide array of activities for all cognitive levels and their food is quite delicious with a wide range of selections suitable for any palate or dietary restriction. You will not regret having your loved one cared for by them. They truly brought our family peace of mind and constant reassurance. We will always hold a special place for them in our hearts as they assisted us with honoring my beloved grandfather and giving him the very best.

The staff comes to work with Smiles on their faces and ready to start their day.. and that just sets the mood to make each and every resident happy.. i can honestly say that I wake up everyday happy to go to work because I know that I have a purpose and that is to make my residents feel loved and happy...

I cant say enough about the help we received from Poets Walk and our guardian angel, Cindy Murphy. Our family was going through a very difficult time and in need of help with my mother who was in need of Memory Care assistance and nursing care. We were introduced to Poets Walk during that time and was introduced to Cindy Murphy. Cindy stepped right in and made all our cares and worries disappear. Cindy assisted us with everything! Paperwork, health assessment arrangements and the move in. Because of Cindys assistance everything fell into place seamlessly! Cindy is a tireless advocate for all the seniors inside and outside of Poets Walk. Her hard work shows in the happiness of the residents and the families that she works with. Cindy has a great grasp of all that goes on in the community, she puts a smile on everyones face from the time you walk in. She goes around to all of the residents and checks on them and engages them leaving them a feeling of love, happiness and a smile, always. I have witnessed her work during my visits. My Mom loves her and tells her so! That in itself is a true testament of her love and care. If you ever have a chance and need to look into care for a family member call Cindy Murphy. You will be sold on her and the community. If nothing else she will answer all your questions and put you at ease!

Poets Walk is a wonderful find for MemoryCare. Having to move a parent to a new home is difficult on all levels. However, from my very first meeting with Cindy Murphy, I knew Mom would be in great hands. Cindy made the transition so easy for Mom and me. She has truly found her calling caring for her residents and their families! She wants to hear their story, share in their successes, and engage each person in something they enjoy. She is passionate about educating the community of Warrenton about those experiencing and living with memory issues. Cindy is always positive and provides smiles, hugs, and encouraging words to everyone! I feel blessed to have found Poets Walk and am especially grateful to Cindy and the wonderful staff for the loving care they give to my Mom.

As an Independent contractor -Healthcare provider, I have been into 90% of the ILFs, ALFs and SNFs within 50 miles. Poets Walk is delivering a specialized level of care for a population of patients that they treat like family. I would feel comfortable knowing my loved one was a part of this caring community.

Poets Walk is the most amazing place! I question the validity of the one negative review I read. We chose Poets Walk which 100 miles from where we live because of friendly and caring atmosphere there. My sister loves Poets Walk; to her it is her new home. There is a quick response to any concerns or questions we have. We jokenly tell the staff we are putting in advanced reservations for ourselves.

Cindy Murphy was my first contact with Poets Walk. She embodied everything I wanted in a person I needed in the care of my mother. After meeting the rest of the staff at Poets Walk I found that she was not the only one. Every staff member that I have met has impressed me with their attitude and care they give my mother. I have been very happy with Poets Walk. The facility is brand new and very well maintained. Mother is fascinated with the bird cage.

We cant be any happier with Poets Walk. Cindy has been great. She has helped us every step of the way. She makes herself available at all times. We had a bad experience prior to finding Poets Walk and Cindy has done everything to ensure we feel comfortable. Cindy has a way with the residents. I recently toured Poets Walk Warrenton on behalf of my husband, who has dementia. The beauty and layout of the place, along with the high standards and respectful approach to residents, led me to put down a deposit. My husband will be moving in February.

Marketing Director, Cindy Murphy, took me down to see the Poets Walk community in Fredericksburg. I have visited and-or worked at numerous long-term care centers in the past, so my perspective was coming from a great deal of experience. I was blown away by everything that I saw! Every single resident was out of their room - engaged in a variety of activities. Staff was visible and involved everywhere I looked. The interior decor looked more like a high-end hotel than an assisted living. Everything was first class. The technology that they employ to update the families each day was also impressive. After my tour I had no hesitation about giving a deposit for my family member to move into Poets Walk in Warrenton. I cant wait until they open! Cindy Murphy has been amazing to work with!

Poets Walk has been incredible. Cindy Murphy has been such a blessing to my whole family. From the very start she has always been there for me and my loved ones. If I have any questions or concerns big or small she is right there to do all that she can to help. She is not the only person working at Poets Walk, which can cause concern when you are leaving a family member in a care facility and dont know if all of the staff will be as wonderful as the rest. Well Cindy has made sure that her staff knows everything that I have shared with her about my grandfather and what he needs to feel at home. We unfortunately had to place him somewhere prior to Poets Walk and the experience was awful, so my family and I have seen what a difference the propper care can make. Poets Walk has state of the art technology, trained staff, is clean, beautiful, and SAFE. Cindy and her staff treat my grandfather, and also the rest of my family, as if we are a part of theirs. It is heartwarming to see someone like Cindy making a facility like this feel like home for the residents and their families. Poets Walk has exceeded our expectations. Without Cindy, I would not have the peace of mind that I do every day. I thank her and everyone at Poets Walk.
