While my Father-in-law was only there for a very short period of time the staff went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable. End of life isn't easy but the staff at Harmony made the best of the situation not only for Donald but for his family as well. We will be forever grateful for their help and understanding. Highly recommend Harmony at Independence.

When it came time to find a place for my Grandmother we researched several Senior Living Communities. She didn't want to leave her home but had accepted that she needed assistance. From the first meeting at Harmony at Independence, my family members and I knew we were in the right place. They listened to us, answered every question, and asked about our loved one in depth to better understand her as a potential resident. As a resident, my Grandmother enjoyed her beautiful "condo" in the assisted living section of Harmony. Her room had a small kitchen with a full-size fridge, microwave, sink and dishes. Meal time in the dining room was a social event among the residents and she made friends to eat with. We would often drop by and that was never an issue..we just sat down with her and ordered a plate as well! Always felt welcomed. Harmony is so special because they have great staff on site to help who were always friendly and responsive. They treated my Grandmother with respect and care. Harmony offers a weekly (limited) happy hour, movie night, game nights, shopping outings, exercise classes and Sunday Worship. Harmony is a well run community that gives families peace of mind. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Harmony at Independance is a top shelf adult living community. I am very impressed at the professionalism and cleanliness of the facility. I cant say enough about the management, from the Executive Director to the Sales/Marketing Manager, they have been and remain best I have ever met. They have been honest, hard working and completly accomodating, I couldn't have asked for more... The nursing staff and food service has been spot-on as well, professional and well mannered - it has made me feel very comfortable with my loved one living here, I feel like they are in good and caring hands. All together, I am very pleased.....

Harmony at Independence is the best among the other places we visited, when we were looking for an assisted living for my mother-in-law. We were very impressed with the interior- the lobby looks like a hotel. The furniture in every area is beautiful. The place is clean and well-kept. Best of all, the staff is very nice and helpful. Anisa assisted us, went through the process smoothly, from start to finish. She and Inna make a great team! Shawn, the executive director said, Harmony staff cares about the residents' happiness and well-being. And she was right. A few days after Mom moved-in, the in-house physical and occupational therapists started to work with her. She's been living there for almost two months now, and she said she couldn't be happier. The caregivers are accommodating and compassionate. Mom said she feels stronger and healthier. She participates in all activities like bingo and happy hour. She also enjoys the concert. The hair salon by Staci is Mom's happy place. It's only a few doors away from her apartment. Like Mom said, the name of this place speaks for itself- Harmony!

We had been looking at Harmony for a few years and knew that was where we wanted our mom to live when the time came. The complex itself is the perfect size. Not so big that you get lost in it, but still has all of the amenities of the larger complexes. The traditional furnishings in the common areas fit the demographics of the community. It is so warm and welcoming! We rent the 1 bedroom independent apartment which is 720 sq feet. Here are just a few things that my mom likes the most: *Lots of storage space. Hall closet, pantry, big linen closet and walk-in closet in the bedroom. *Open kitchen with ice maker * Big bathroom with washer and dryer and walk-in shower. *Large covered balcony. The food service is great! You can eat in the dining room, or take your meal to-go. I believe lunch and dinner are a full three-course meal. The portions are large enough that there is usually leftovers for lunch the following day. The concierge service is amazing so far! The staff is so helpful and attentive. Thank you to Jeromy who seems to have unending patience and always accessible when needed. We hope our mom enjoys many years at Harmony!

I really struggled to find a place for my dad, and the relocation from another state made it harder. I almost gave up until I got to Harmony. EVERYONE is pleasant and wants the best for every families loved one. Jeromy is TOP NOTCH! From the moment we got there he was patient, he listened to the horror stories from my fathers last facility. He did everything and then some to prove to us that our nightmares were over! My dad is the happiest I have seen in years! Thank you Jeromy you have a great big hug on the way!

A dear friend of mine lives here, and, though the facility always appears clean and neat, and the staff seems kind and helpful, the fact that residents must arrange transportation three days in advance when they need to be taken somewhere is a concern. These are elderly people, who cant always plan things like doctors visits three days in advance-sometimes it isnt an emergency that requires an ambulance, but still something that shouldnt wait, and not being able to get a ride somewhere on shorter notice (perhaps 24 hours?) is not reasonable-its hard enough to get a doctor to squeeze you in for an appointment as it is. My friend was also told that she would be able to get transportation to church on Sundays, only to find out once she had moved, that the Harmony does not provide transportation on weekends. This could have been a miscommunication, but it was still a blow, and since we live in such a busy area, I am surprised that there is no transportation on Saturdays and Sundays-I would think those days would be when people would want to get out to the mall, the beach, the park, church, etc. The transportation services need serious revision, given what people are paying to live here! Having said that, the apartments are lovely, and the residents that I see in the hallways look happy and cheerful-I just wish there were more vans so they could provide rides seven days a week.

We have been very happy with Harmony. The property is new and clean and the apartments are bright and spacious. The sales director, Jeromy, made a very good first impression on us and everyone we have met since then. The staff and residents seem genuinely happy to work and live there. This makes for a friendly and welcoming environment. We shopped around for a while and feel we definitely made the right decision for our mother.

Our Harmony Blessing! Harmony is a place of happiness and blessings. My parents were at a crossroads and could no longer stay at their home....they were not fit to cook, clean or shower safely. There was a multitude of other concerns for their health and welfare. Harmony was a gift sent from heaven- the gift that still keeps giving— to me, my parents and my siblings. From the very first meeting with the Director of Sales& Marketing, we knew this was the place of comfort and peace of mind. Not only did she show herself faithful, dedicated, transparent and professional, but so did the nurses, doctors, therapist and staff employees. We now know that our parents are in the hands of the best. In the dining room theres a Fine Dining experience with exquisite chef prepared meals to choose from. Housekeeping staff keeps rooms pristine. The nurse and the attendants keep my parents in the best of health around the clock, continuously watching over them. For example one particular evening I could not reach my parents about 7:00pm, a time that theyre usually up, in their room relaxing; when I could not reach them by phone, I reluctantly contacted the nurses station - then I recanted - but The nurse insisted on taking action- going the extra mile for me and she checked on them and she confirmed they were safe and comfortably sleeping. I was quite relieved and at that moment, I discovered how the staff go above and beyond to satisfy families at Harmony. We give them a 5 star for Family Assisted Living Care. My family toured three places before finding the perfect place for my husband. Jeremy is so outgoing, welcoming and warm; he sets the tone for all of Harmony at Independence. We were worried that my husband would not accept being there, but he has adjusted better than I could have hoped. All of the staff is very caring, it takes a special person to be able to have the patience it takes to help those suffering with Alzheimers Disease. Thank you to all of the staff for giving me peace of mind.

Harmony at Independence fit the bill when We were trying to find a new home for mom. Since this is one of the newest establishments, that was key for my mom. The team was so accomodating when I reached out for a tour. Jeromy was so helpful showing me around to more units than needed but It helped me see everything they have to offer to make the right decision. I never felt pressure to make a decision. I asked, he responded in seconds! The whole place is neat and clean- and welcoming. Dining has been great( mom loves Joseph) The units for independent living are just the right size with a full modern kitchen...it was also a plus that we could get a balcony for mom so she feels the freedom to go out whenever she pleases for fresh air. I have peace of mind that she is in good hands and I have the extra eyes to watch over mom while I am miles away! This is the place if you want a central location, new facilities, well kept property.

My father is a new resident at Harmony. As soon as I spoke to Jeromy, I knew Harmony would be the perfect fit for my dad. Jeromy helped us through every step of the move in process. He is a true gem! Anytime my sister and I go to Harmony, all of the employees are so kind and helpful. Not to mention all of the happy residents. I cant recommend this place enough. It is beautiful and has plenty of activities for the residents.
