I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Woodland Hills Community. This retirement community exceeded all my expectations! The amenities are absolutely amazing, from the beautiful outdoor spaces and walking trails to the elegant dining areas. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The community has a multitude of enriching activities offered keeping everyone engaged and cater to a wide range of interests. One of the coolest features, (a bit of a tech junky) is the communities state-of-the-art air purification system which ensures a clean and refreshing environment. The architectural design and stylish decor give the community a luxurious feel. I highly recommend Woodland Hills for anyone looking for a vibrant and comfortable retirement community.

Don’t let the looks of the building fool you. Management is horrible, no communication with anyone and, the CNA’s don’t do their work and ignore the residents care. Also, if you are looking for Assisted Living, don’t choose WH. You’re family member will not be assisted with anything, daily. They are left to try and do everything for themselves. The turn over rated is a lot higher then most places due to poor management and low wages.

Such a beautiful Community in Roanoke, Virginia. The moment you walk into the lobby, you feel a sense of calm and feeling of "This is home". The residents are so engaging with each other and with the team. Their team are kind and caring individuals! They truly exemplify the mission of RUI by "delivering a lifestyle our residents have earned and deserve." I highly recommend taking a tour.

Woodland Hills is exactly where I would want my parents to be. The staff is always warm, friendly and professional. From the top down they passionate about their jobs and doing everything in excellence. The programs they have like RUI University, RUI Fit, and the Dining is head and shoulders above everyone else.

I visited Woodland Hills for the grand opening celebration and it was absolutely beautiful! I was so impressed with the quality of the community and staff. The food was amazing and you could instantly feel the pride that was evident in putting this facilty together. First class!

Working at Woodland Hills is a dream-come-true for me! Our management team is top notch, and all the staff are caring, thoughtful people who are dedicated to making this a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for our residents and their families. The residents enjoy scrumptious meals prepared by our Executive Chef and team, lots of attention from loving staff, as well as quite a variety of activities that include a whole catalog of RUI University classes. Over the years in my profession I have visited many Retirement Communities, the most recent being Woodland Hills. At Woodland Hills the well-appointed setting is as beautiful on the outside as it is inside. From the time I walked in the door until my departure I was attended to and provided assistance by there friendly staff. While on the tour I was so impressed with the opportunities for educational and social group activities this community provides to their residents. Based on my first impression this would be an excellent option for anyone looking to proceed with their life living independently.

Woodland Hills is a gorgeous, new community, conveniently located in the Roanoke Valley. I work for Lawrence Companies and have moved in several of Woodland Hills residents. The residents and staff are warm and friendly. I have had the pleasure of attending special events at Woodland Hills - the food is excellent and the amenities are out of this world. I visited Woodland Hills and found it to be breathtaking! All of the staff were friendly and wearing nice uniforms with a Woodland Hills logo which made it easy to identify who worked there. The building itself is well decorated and extremely clean. There were a huge group of residents sitting in their bar area laughing, talking and enjoying wine. They acted as if they had known each other for years but made me aware that they all met after moving in but had made great friendships. Nicer than any hotel I have ever visited.

They have classes through RUI University that are free and open to both Woodland Hills residents and outside community members. These classes are taught by University professors and professional experts.I highly recommend Woodland Hills to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones!
