As compared to other assisted living centers, I find Sunrise at Reston Town Center to be a fantastic option for care. Clean, great staff, appetizing food , engaging activities and all-around a good center for caring for your loved one. In particular, the Memory Care staff I have interacted with over the past few months have been caring, attentive, patient-focused and available. I cant say enough great things about the Memory Care staff.

After experiencing several different facilities and locations, my husband found Sunrise at Reston Town Center. As the other reviews identify, the facility is clean, the landscaping has pleasant views outside, and the food is superior. Most importantly, the staff is friendly, competent, and caring. After a particularly unpleasant mess, Carol took the time to thoroughly and safely clean up my husband to include fresh, clean clothes. She then went the extra mile to ensure that the room and equipment were cleaned just as thoroughly--this included returning to the room to confirm that everything was cleaned to her high standards.

Sunrise has an amazing team and really makes the residents feel at home. An immediate feeling that you’re making the right choice when you walk into the lobby. Residents want to live here! You don’t have to go home and feel guilty when it comes time that your family needs daily assistance. This is a place loved ones thrive in and not your stereotypical ALF. #noregrets

Had experience with my father in six different assisted living and nursing home locations between Virginia and Texas and Sunrise Reston was by far the best. Their staff are friendly and helpful - really go the extra mile for all the residents. The food is really good and plentiful plus flexible with dining times. The facility is well kept, always clean, everything functional, and secure. Overall, a very good experience.

Following a significant hospitalization and rehab, my mother arrive at Reston Town Center from her home in Texas. Sunrise personnel were very helpful in helping us find the correct accommodation, providing temporary assistance while we acquired furniture, being very accommodating when she arrived, and, most importantly, have provided excellent care that has restored her to a level of health she has not enjoyed for years. Their efforts to protect residents and to provide as much enrichment as possible, such as daily visits for coffee and talking with staff members, during the COVID shutdown were outstanding even as they dealt with the associated shortages in staff. As they are moving forward toward a more normal experience their careful management of the residents exposures has demonstrated an outstanding balance between safety and contacts with family. While they were not really equipped to deliver meals to everyones rooms as they were forced to do during the COVID episode, the food is now returning to the high standard that they maintained before COVID.

The Sunrise at Reston Town Center is a unique location due an assisted living facility for seniors because its located in a very active and productive part of Reston. Yet almost hidden away from the day to day traffic of the young productive that frequent the town center. However, I am sure the Sunrise at Reston existed before the build up of this area. The facility itself is a large, serene location that provides debits with day to day activities as week as professional health care assistance for those residents week into their years. The facility grounds are well-maintained and surrounded by trees, which give the residents a sitting and calming sense of relaxation. The interior is clean with spacious rooms, dining and living areas that are beautifully furnished to give the residents a home like environment that were use to. I liked that the staff is attentive and very respectful of the residents, which ensures the debits are cared and secure. The Sunrise at Reston is part of the Sunrise chain providing exemplary services

Sunrise in Reston is so wonderful, I don't know where to begin! Although my brother is still settling in and has some dementia, he enjoys the folks he is meeting and values the independence available to him in assisted living. I have found the administrators both professional and warm enough to know them by their first names. Every single person, director, nurse or caretaker, cook or aide, has a smile and greeting for residents and visitors. I'm so grateful to have this caring community so close by so the rest of the family can share these years with my brother.

I was very impressed with the facility and staff at Sunrise Reston. Probably the most impressive fact is the length of tenure many (+60%) of the staff is over 5 years with a significant percentage over 10 years.
