The layout of this facility is so unique, It allows resident to feel as if they are on a city square instead of confined in an indoor environment. The staff are genuinely kind and loving, in a multitude of ways, not only with the residents but also with their family members. I was especially impressed with the hands on care I witnessed my husband receive.

Arden Courts is a wonderful memory care facility. They have a family like atmosphere where everyone displays a pleasant demeanor. The facility is very welcoming and very clean. There are always inclusive activities taking place for the residents to participate in and enjoy. They have good food combined with nice living quarters that enhance a positive community environment. When I went on a tour, Ms. Eboney was very kind and patient showing me every part of the facility. I would recommend this community for your loved ones.

The team at Arden Courts have been wonderful in every respect. Management, Nursing, Activities, Maintenance, and Dietary staff have all been impressive with their passion and professionalism. The facility itself is constructed in a unique manner offering the residents an enhanced experience at such a challenging time in their lives. Although it's a bit of a drive for me to visit, I'm very grateful to have my Uncle residing here! I know deep down he appreciates his new environment and community too.

My father was a resident of Arden Courts Richmond. The staff was so nice, they treated not just my father but also me and my family like we were part of their family. There came the time I couldn't even get my father out of his bed. I would get one of the aids and with no problem at all they would come to his room and in no time he was walking down the hall with them, hand in hand. Most of the ladies there called my father Poppy and he loved it. They also have fun activities for the residents and their families. I recommend them to anyone needing someone to take care of a loved one dealing with memory issues.

Volunteering here was one of the best decisions I have ever made! It was super eye opening being around patients with different types of Alzheimer's/ dementia. All of the staff are so welcoming and kind. I have definitely learned a lot from this experience and hope to be back soon.

I couldn't be happier with the care that Arden Courts provides to my Step-dad. I moved him from a miserable memory care unit in Michigan to Arden Courts about 2 months ago. The facility staff immediately understood his needs and keep him safe, healthy and actively engaged in meaningful activities. The constant updates, pictures and quick responses to my questions are remarkable. The physical space is beautifully maintained, the food is excellent and the staff is welcoming, kind and truly understands the unique care required for Alzheimer's and other dementia residents. I highly recommend Arden Courts and thank everyone for their care and support.

Arden Courts is an incredible memory care facility. All of the staff are so caring and involved. The enrichment programs are thoughtfully planned and executed in such fun, interactive ways. I have witnessed such patience and kindness from every staff member; the leadership team is very involved and knows each resident like family and its clear that they all love their jobs. Ly is especially amazing at meeting all of the residents where they are to make sure they are included in social/enrichment activities and kept as active as possible. We are so happy to have found Arden Courts for my mom.

Arden Court is absolutely fantastic. What a unique concept for the memory impaired. I just took a tour.....it was like walking down main street in a small quaint town. There was so much interaction between the staff and the residents.....everyone seemed to feel like they were home. That's the way it should feel.

My Mom is my 4th family member that I have taken care of with Alzheimer's/Dementia diagnosis. Those family members were at multiple places around Chesterfield/Amelia. When I toured Arden Courts the concept was so different than any of the facilities we had dealt with. Mom's quality of life, mood and attitude has improved 100% percent living at Arden. The activities offered for the residents and families are amazing. The staff have grown to be extended family. They not only care about your family member but you as well. They always go out of their way to make Mom feel loved, comforted and cared for. I never have a question, or concern that isn't answered with a call, text or email. There is no such thing as perfect, but Arden has the best interest of your loved one at heart. Every facility is facing staffing shortages, that is true. But the staff there love your family members and work hard to accommodate their all the needs. After many years caring for my family members, Arden Courts have made it possible for me to be a daughter and enjoy visiting with Mom knowing she is cared for, when I leave. January 2, 2025 marked a year of Mom living at Arden, as a family we agree this was the BEST decision we could have made for Mom.

I had a tour of this facility earlier this year and was impressed. There are unique amenities for the residents like a coffee shop, general store, therapy cats, and lots of activities. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. The director, Melissa, genuinely cares about the residents and helping them to have the best experience during their stay at Arden Courts.

Let me first start by saying , no facility is perfect. My dad was admitted to Arden Courts in June 2024 after a broken hip that occurred at his previous Asst living facility. My dad received wonderful care from the staff along with OT and PT. Kelly and Jacob were fabulous ! The activities director is very talented in creativity for the residents. I joined in at times and had a blast with dad and the other residents. The reason 4 star instead of 5 star is because 50 % of the time the food was horrible. I took dad food time to time so he would eat. Also, in September, just 3 months after being admitted I received a letter that his rent was going up to $1200 per month, ( yes, per month) I notified AC that dad was leaving in 30 days, I was told 2 days later by Melissa his rent would stay as is if I wanted him to stay. I was moving dad anyway because he recovered to the point he no longer needed memory care and 24 hour supervision. Glory!! I feel that the only thing that our older generation looks forward to is a good meal and fellowship. I like to think that AC in the near future would give more attention to the quality of the food they serve to the residents.

I can’t say enough positive things about Arden Courts! The Administration and staff here are top notch professionals who are caring and supportive. I am always greeted with smiles and a genuine kindness. The activities here for the residents are beyond what Ive seen in other memory cares. The activities Director spends a lot of time using her talents to make every event so special and unique to the residents. This secure memory care facility is located in the esteemed Midlothian area and its one of the best communities in the area. Set up like a small town, the residents get a lot of visual stimulation with their environment. Melissa, the director is very much about quality and care and loves their residents dearly. The facility is always clean, and the staff seems very genuine and caring. If you're looking for a safe, clean memory care with plenty of activities, I'd highly recommend Arden Courts.

My grandmother is a resident at Arden Courts. I haven't actually been to the facility until last weekend. I've never seen something so cute and precious in my life. She was having a private birthday party and everyone there made it so special for her. I'm truly touched. We had an issue about other residents coming in and it was hard because you don't know what to say but the front desk lady went out of her way to help us and the way she spoke to the older people was so kind and funny. She really cares about these people and it shows. My dad said she's always so kind and really attentive to the family. The loved ones like talking to her because she truly cares. If you need a Memory Care place in Virginia, I definitely recommend this place. 5 stars. Thank you guys for all you do here. It truly makes the family feel at ease knowing they are in fully capable and caring hands.

The staff is amazing! The building is clean. If there are any issues they are on top of it. They are truly a good team from housekeeping to the DON. Its a welcoming environment. The activities director is always doing something for the residents. Arden Courts is a pleasent place to be.

I went to tour this place yesterday and I can't believe how cool it is inside. It's a like a village in there! I can see why dad likes it there so much. All of the staff is incredible! They are very comfortable with eachother there. It's like a big family. It is a family! They always have cool stuff they can do and really treat the residents there with kindness and love. We had to put dad somewhere when he started getting bad, and it tore us up inside. But since he came here, the whole family sleeps better at night knowing he is safe and cared for. They always have a nurse on staff and they notify us immediately if anything happens. You have to see it to appreciate it. They have an open house coming soon.

I have a family member here, and I must say this place is absolutely amazing! The girl at the front desk Krystal, truly goes out of her way to help each visitor feel welcomed. The HR guy Steven is a delight to talk to and super helpful. I only breifly spoke to the nurses and caregivers but you can tell how much they love the residents, even when nobody is around. They all make it so easy to bring in our pets and kids, and just answer ANY questions I have. They have programming all day so that everyone is engaged. They have made this place a town and an all exclusive Resort basically. The Director Melissa is engaged with every person, staff, resident or family. I walked in one day last week and they had a singer there and Melissa was dancing with the residents! Truly truly touched my heart. Ebony the marketing gal was very respectful and professional when trying to sell us. She wasn't pushy at all! She knew this place truly sells itself so she was very accommodating to our family. Come see this place. It will truly melt your heart. 5 stars!

I toured multiple communities in the Richmond area for my 73 year old father who had Parkinsonian dementia. Nothing compared to this community for his high functioning/walking needs. I was so overwhelmed with how great they were, I cried at the initial tour as I knew it would be the best fit for him. (I knew it would be great when the receptionist, Steven, was the kindest most loving presence on the phone). The center of the community is set up as a small town (pub, movie theater, Carytown ice cream). Every. Single. Person you meet there is lovely. From the front line staff to the department heads. My experience with Eboney (sales director) and her ability to move my dad into the community in a quick timeframe was imperative to getting him settled and it meant ALL the difference. Her demeanor was above and beyond. We were also highly impressed with their Director of Nursing, Brittney - she was so professional but also charismatic, understanding, responsive, and met my dad RIGHT where he was in his disease process - she truly made his transition from home to the community a one-of-a-kind experience. We were also impressed with the frontline teams compassion and support of dad and our family in the transition process and his time at the community. I highly recommend Arden Courts for anyone looking in the Midlothian area for their memory impaired loved ones. You won't be disappointed with this dedicated team of caring professionals.
