Was part of the Harmony Craft and Vendor Fair yesterday. Krystal, Pat, Heather, Danielle and Wyatt made this event amazing! They thought of everything! The vendor spaces were well thought out, the western theme was so cute, the food and drinks complimentary and delicious! Plus, they had live music for all to enjoy. Met many residents who seemed to have a good time as I did! Thank you Harmony of Hanover!

Searching for care for a loved one isn't easy especially under a quick timeframe. I have toured several different communities within the Richmond/Hanover area and this felt like "Home" to our family. The environment is bright, and clean. The Marketing team I met with, Heather & Donna were so engaged with the residents as well as staff and willing to help make this a smooth transition for my family member. I am so glad I stopped by to walk in and tour as I never would have found this wonderful community for my loved one to call home. Definitely a great fit if you are searching for assisted living or memory care.

Our church came to volunteer for Valentines Day and it was amazing! Both buildings are so beautiful on the inside. The decorations and thought put into the events were well coordinated. If I were needing Assisted Living or Independent Living this is the place to be. What really made our experience amazing was the coordination with Krystal Stephen's and the staff. From day one of contacting Krystal it has been nothing but positivity. No matter how busy Krystal was she still met every obstacle with grace and a smile. She made sure the volunteers, patients and staff were kept happy. If anyone needed anything she was on it. We look forward to coming back to volunteer again.

As a transportation service provider, the clients that live here are always happy about their living arrangements. I have heard wonderful things about this place and I decided to take a tour myself. I was utterly impressed by how clean and meet the facility is. There are several amenities at this location, and residents feel like they are on a forever vacation. I will definitely recommend this place.

I had to put my mother in assisted living about a year ago. During that time, she has received nothing but wonderful care. The the staff members always smile and acknowledge her when they see her in her apartment and in the hallways. The activities calendar is always full of fun things to do. I'm always amazed at the fun ideas they come up with. The menu in the dining room has a nice selection of meals and always ends with a delicious dessert. The best part for my mom is that her fur baby could stay with her and he has adapted very well. Some of the staff even feed her cat! That's going beyond the call of duty! I feel very comfortable having my mom there and knowing they take such great care of her.

We are happy with the fine meals and the apartment we have. The move was tiring, but afterwards, when we settled in, we enjoyed our apartment and the friendliness of all the staff and many of the other guests that we have met.

I have met many of the staff and residents here. Much of the staff truly cares about the well being of the people they tend to. I have toured the buildings which seem fairly clean and maintained. My favorite part has been volunteering with the residents though. They seem happy and enjoy partaking in reading, puzzles, drawing, and of course conversation when I visit.

When we moved our mother to this location it appeared updated, clean and seemed like a nice place. The areas I find lacking are the food and cleaning. It appears they have difficulty finding cleaning staff. The people that cleaned my mothers apartment used bleach and somehow made contact with her good black pants and ruined them, I asked Kyle to call me but of course never heard a thing. I hear from my mother and other residents how poor the food is, they are supposed to cut my mothers food per a doctors order and often that is not done. They served a pasta side dish the other day to her but the pasta had no sauce and she could not get anyone to help her. The front desk often has people there looking at their phones and dont even look up much less speak when someone walks in. The social interaction is very limited, basically the same stuff every week, bingo, bead crafting is pretty much the only craft I ever see on the calendar, I would think they would be making seasonal crafts. For the price the facility is greatly lacking. Trash is left in a room on each floor and not collected daily. The exercise room is very small and I rarely see people in there. When you walk in your rarely see many residents in the public rooms. I dont think there are enough social fun gatherings, they do have a happy hour on Fridays and often have music on those days. It has been a disappointment. The positive is my mother has a nice apartment. If you dont allow them to debit your checking account for your monthly payment you are charged and extra 15 dollars a month. So my mother started oaying by auto withdraw, they place the sticker right on the bill every month that says she has auto withdrawal which is supposed to be without a fee but even though they put the sticker on her bill they continue to charge her $15 a month as though she's paying with a check. I have sent two emails to the administrator that runs the facility named Kyle and as of yet he has not responded to either of my emails. I see the people who are the owners responded to my review and said for me to contact them but how do you contact them they didn't give me any information on that and Kyle doesn't respond. My mother also had a leak in her apartment that is taking months to get resolved. The cook recently left the facility and instead of the residence being waited on at the tables as was the previous set up now the residents have to stand in a line to get their food cafeteria style the residents also complain about the small sizes of the food portions.

I have found the facility to be clean, accessible and attractive. Navigating inside is easy and there are wall charts listing the location of various facilities. Visitors and residents are greeted at the front desk by the concierge on duty who is always pleasant and very helpful. There is nursing and medtech staff which provide many necessary functions and activities. Questions are answered accurately and are knowledgeable. The activities staff provides a large variety of services such as daily exercises and word games and more. There are coffee, hot chocolate socials, ice cream Sundae on Sunday, and Wine Down Wednesday once a week where we get together for a refreshing treat and often play trivia games. Maintenance and housekeeping take care of the facility necessities in good fashion. There is also a memory care unit for individuals with greater needs in that area. I would be happy to speak with any prospective families to answer any questions you may have. I am very satisfied here and highly recommend this home to others. Tom Winn

The staff here is excellent. Many activities throughout the day. Love that my mother feels very comfortable at Harmony. She enjoys movies in the cinema room. Administration open door policy and family invitations to monthly events. I feel my mother is in good care. Nursing staff manages her medicines and other needs. I do not have to worry about safety, laundry, cleaning, Meds or meals. Any concern is a phone call away. I would recommend Harmony to anyone and I have in the past.

I have had my aunt here for 6 months. There is new management and a new administrator and everything seems to be going great now. Its a new building with lots of staff visible when ever I visit. The staff here is excellent. Many activities throughout the day, week and month. Love that my mother takes advantage of group outings whether going out shopping, sightseeing, or favorite restaurants. Library and seating area next to fireplace to make for nice conversations and shared interests. Many enjoy afternoon movies in the cinema room. Much appreciated is the administration open door policy and family invitations to monthly events. I feel my mother is in good care here. Nursing staff manages her medicines and other needs. I dont have to worry about safety, laundry, cleaning or meals. Any concern is a phone call away. Physical therapy on site, some residents with severe health issues have private aides, and some residents have small pets. A concierge available twelve hours a day to assist any resident with needs. This facility is a month to month contract and does not have expensive buy-in. I would recommend The Crossings At Hanover for anyone who wants to be independent but needs assistance.

My parents have lived at The Crossings at Hanover for almost a year and half. I also know of other friends whose parents are here as well. While yes there are always going to be minor things that we would like to change, that is true of any facility, I have been very pleased with the care my parents have received. I am always informed when one of them has fallen or not felt well and been notified if they were sent across to the ER for any reason. I have found the staff caring and attentive and respectful to my parents.
