The management was fantastic, always available if you needed to approach them for any needs or problems. Sherry, Teeyana, Tarran, Karina, Sara, Judy and the entire nursing staff especially Sam and Hanna they were caring, always timely with my medication and made sure I had my CPAP machine ready to go when I went to bed. Furthermore my CNA’s were fantastic Nina and Fume. The Housekeeping team did a spectacular job keeping my room clean and making it shine. The food was delicious and was prepared by Keith and Antonio, Keith came to see me the very 1st day he found out I was back. I need to explain something here I was here last year and was supposed to be here for years, my Parkinson’s had kicked in full fledge. Couldn’t stand up couldn’t walk couldn’t bathe my self and the Therapy team had me out of here in 3 months also with a lot of prayers lol, it was supposed to be years. When I came back it was treated like a huge homecoming everybody was happy to see me, every resident, every staff member. It was incredible and heart warming. Lastly I would like to name the therapist that helped me last time and this time, Nehal who ran the department and was my therapist this time and last time. Kim who is OT this time and last time, and Jackie who was also my therapist this time. They worked me hard and I worked hard, Finally their activities department is ousting they always have something to do in twice in the morning and once in the afternoon the people in this department is run by Joanne Barbara Madison and Ryan and they bring everybody to their activities that’s why bingo is packed on Monday and Fridays and sometimes a local church comes in on Saturdays this and My PT and OT is why I’m going home Thursday July 23rd, the day of my friends in Africa and my Grandson’s in Pakistan birthdays!

Manassas Health and Rehab did a great job with my mother. When she left the hospital she could barely sip water out of a straw. After her physical and occupational therapy, she is able to walk and do daily tasks, including enjoying dinner with her friends at the center. I can't say enough about how much the staff at MHRC care. From the administrators to the nursing staff to the kitchen, activities and even cleaning staff. They really care. My mother was in long-term-care for many months and I feel she got the best help possible from the staff. There are many activities and the food is good, too! Funding from medicare and medicaid is always being squeezed, but they still somehow seem to do well by their patients. Thank you MHRC staff from the bottom of my heart.

Our experience of good care started with the excellent communication of Sherry W. She led us through the process of entering the rehab world with grace and knowledge. Her communication was consistent, detailed and individualized for our specific needs. On the day of discharge, her call to the house to ensure a safe transfer had occurred was greatly appreciated. Her team continued that level of caring detail during the entire stay of my mother. Christine was exceptionally kind and empathetic. We often saw staff in passing with patients use their names and have intentional interactions. Although the facility is tired looking and needs a finishes remodel, it was always clean and well staffed.

My mother was admitted to Manassas Health & Rehab after spending three months recovering at another rehabilitation facility following a stroke and a fall. When she arrived, she was still in the middle stages of recovery, and it was critical that the focus be on healing her stage 4 wound while also providing consistent physical and occupational therapy to prepare her for a transition to assisted living. From the start, the entire team”wound care specialists, nursing staff, therapists, administrative staff, and the admissions coordinator”was outstanding. In just one month, they accomplished what we had hoped for, making significant progress in both her wound healing and overall rehabilitation. Communication was a major strength. The staff kept me well-informed throughout her stay and worked closely with the assisted living community to ensure a smooth and coordinated transition. That level of collaboration made a stressful situation much more manageable. Most importantly, my mother was treated with genuine care, respect, and dignity. The majority of the staff were attentive to her needs and sensitive to her feelings, which meant a great deal to both of us. As with many rehab facilities, there were occasional inconsistencies”particularly with some evening staff, who were at times less responsive (as my mother noted). However, this was a minor drawback in what was otherwise a very positive experience. Overall, both my mother and I were extremely impressed, and I would confidently recommend Manassas Health & Rehab to others in need of quality rehabilitation care.

My Spouse had an excellent experience at this rehabilitation facility. The entire staff was incredibly professional, compassionate, and dedicated to helping patients succeed. From the therapists to the nurses and support staff, everyone treated him with kindness and respect throughout his stay. The therapy team was outstanding”they created a personalized plan for his recovery and motivated him every step of the way. They took the time to explain everything clearly and pushed him just enough to help him improve while still making sure he felt comfortable and supported. The facility is also very clean, well organized, and provides a positive environment for healing. It’s clear that the staff truly care about their patients and their progress. Thanks to their support and expertise, he made more progress than I expected. I would absolutely recommend this rehabilitation center to anyone needing quality rehab care.

If your family member is unable to dress themselves, get out of bed themselves, feed themselves, and use the restroom completely on their own, I would strongly advise you look elsewhere for their care. There is a huge disconnect between the NPs and the staff, which resulted in notable lapses of care. My grandmother was discharged with an open wound. They did not provide any care for this wound or relay the severity to us. The positives: although the facility is a bit older it is kept very clean. Most of the staff are nice and well meaning but I would say the aides are understaffed.

My mother in law has been back at rehab for about a week and a half for Stage 4 wound care after a successful stay when she broke her femur late summer. We are lucky enough to be able to be with her 10-12 hours a day and the compassion and care given we have observed first hand given to her and others by all types of staff has been very good. Unless you are present to witness, one can’t realize all it takes to run a rehab well, all the different jobs it requires to give the best care, environment and chance of recovery to those that are there. Staff are friendly and professional, bedside manner given and special touches that make a difference like the PT and OT staff working together and cheering on residents to do a task they don’t think they can but do, techs and nurses listening to the resident and doing the needed for their care, the chef talking to residents in the dining room to get them interacting and talking, staff being personable during their non stop day and again compassion. We are grateful for each and every person we see each day and commend them for a job well done!

Whenever I visit my momma (a resident) at Manassas Health & Rehab she always tells me how much she loves it there. That the food is good, just like her grandmother used to make at home. My family and I cannot express our gratitude enough for the exceptional compassion provided by the staff at Manassas Rehab. My dad was a patient there for rehabilitation, and although the rehabilitation process didn't go as we had hoped, it had nothing to do with the efforts and dedication of the Rehab center. Tracy Maynard, the administrator, and Mary Jane, the director of social services, truly went above and beyond in ensuring that my dad received the best possible care. Their compassion, helpfulness, and understanding were evident in every interaction we had with them. Shirley, the social worker, played an important role in supporting our family and concerns as well. Dr. Gupta, the attending physician, played a critical role during the discharge process. He took the time to explain the medication thoroughly and went the extra mile to coordinate medications, making it seamless for us to continue caring for my Dad at home. Manira, the unit coordinator, and Kadija, the nurse, also deserve special mention for their incredible dedication to their roles. Their kindness and professionalism contributed significantly to the positive experience we had at Manassas Rehab. While the distance from our home became a logistical challenge, we are immensely grateful for the peace of mind the staff provided us during a challenging time. The entire team ensured that we had a clear understanding of my Dad's post-rehab care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

These 5 stars are only for TWO people at this facility. Dee being the first most worthy of this five star review. Sherry, she's a close second--love her to death-- but in the words of Ricky Bobby, "If you ain't first, you're last..." But in all seriousness, Dee is the head of admissions and Sherry is my case manager here at this facility, and they may give me a hard time--but it's well deserved. Meanwhile, they go above and beyond to accommodate me and my family through this process of my recovery. I started out in a bad way...I wasn't easy to deal with nor aware of my behaviors. I couldn't walk. I couldn't remember how long I've been here. Now, I know Sherry and Dee, and they're two names I will never forget--I also visit them daily now. They frequently visit, check on me, and communicate with every member of my family, and they keep everyone on the same page. I'm not the happiest to be here but I'm happy to have them on my team. When I've pressed for something to get done, it gets /done. However, this five star review is more for the people behind the scenes: Remotes for TVs are scarce, the batteries are non-existent, and the food sucks-- but the people here to care for us have their hearts in the right place. Times may get tough, but Dee and Sherry work their hardest to make it that much better.

Our mother has been there for about 2 and a half weeks. The admission staff was so kind and caring during the process and made the transition of our mothers move easy. The nursing staff are so sweet to our mother and really take care of her like she was family. The social workers there check in with all the residents daily and get to know who they are. We really did not know what to expect specially since the facility she transfered from was not very good. We understand with staff shortages and things like are big right now but we couldn't be more happy with everyone there. We will update as more time passes but we are happy with the way our mother is cared for. It really takes special kind of person to do a stressful job like this. May God bless them 10 folds.

Manassas H&R is a nice place for mom. As a daughter, I always want mom to be happy, but her disease makes it impossible for me to provide for her needs. She’s lived there for 4 years, comfortably. All of the staff is caring and knowledgeable about her needs. Staff meets with me monthly, understanding and addressing my concerns. I enjoy the time when I am able to visit, and I am able to take care of myself instead of worry whether she’s ok. If you’re unable to flow with the unpredictability of a parent with dementia or Alzheimer’s, this is a very caring solution for you and your parent(s). I’d like to give a shout out to all the staff I’ve been blessed to know by name, but it is a great team there. Everyone is wonderful.
