I am very pleased with my mother's experience at Commonwealth. She feels loved and she is definitely well cared for. I had a Thanksgiving meal with my mother that was delicious and plentiful. The staff is very loving and they treat their clients with tender loving care. Mother's room is always clean. The place is always beautifully decorated which brings a lot of joy to the clients as well as visitors.

Such a caring staff during such a difficult time! They really love their patients. Loved spending the day with my grandpa and all of his neighbors and the staff. Thankful to know my grandpa is in good hands! They don't see him as a patient they see him as a family member really and that puts me at ease living a few hours away. Thank you!

We have nothing but good things to say about CSL-Hillsville. The best part is the staff who go above and beyond expectations to care for our mom. We visit often and see tender loving care in action. It gives us piece of mind about the difficult decision we made when she could no longer live alone. Highly recommend!

By far the best place around for seniors! The staff is very friendly and accessible, the common areas are nicely furnished and clean, the individual apartments are kept clean. Even though my mom isnt the most outgoing person, the other residents are always friendly to her. The residents always look out for each other, especially if staff are attending to other duties. Id especially like to recognize staff member Trish Aker as going out of her way to make feel loved when she is caring for my mom, as I know she can be difficult. Many others go out of their way to go the extra mile in taking care of my mom and all the residents.

There are no words to adequately express my gratitude for the love and care given to my Mom (Maxine), by the staff at Commonwealth. This is a special place. I recommend this facility to anyone seeking care for a loved one. Kayla Crowder and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate Mom's changing needs. They are the best. My dad was here starting September 3, 2016. But let me start at the part of getting him here. Commonwealth was recommended to us, however I did call 2 other places. One of the facilities, still has not returned my call and the 2nd one (on the phone) told me all kinds of forms I would need before we could even talk. Back toCommonwealth, I had a tour at my convenience, I was handed all of the forms I needed and was explained what they were. My mother was struggling with placing daddy anywhere, Sharon Miller came to their house and talked to her. Decision made. Moved daddy, we all were treated like family. I do not know of another place that would have cared for him like they did.My father had dementia, sadly he passed on September 30th. You know you are in the right place when the ladies that cared for him are crying and stayed with us until we left. We have cell phone numbers to keep in touch with them.I just believe that it not "just a job" to them they really love the people they are caring for. Thank you all for all you did while we were there. Your dedication to your job is awesome!
