Hughes Home is a unique facility - family owned and operated and faith based. Advanced dementia is not always pretty and definitely not kind to the afflicted, but the Sullivan family have caring hearts. . Home Instead Senior Cares experience with this facility have been favorable.

I have known the Sullivan family for 22 years. They have High standards and their integrity is beyond question. They genuinely care about the residents and their families. They are there. Most facilities are big business. This family views this place as Ministry. I am very pleased to work here. I also see my job as Ministry. No place is perfect, though we strive to be.

Absolutely an A#1 place with a wonderful, loving, caring staff that took excellent care of my Mom. Family atmosphere, fun activities, interesting programs, and good food! I have already referred one family and will continued to do so in the future!

We placed Mom in Hughes Home just as they were locking down due to COVID-19, so we were not able to go in with her. They are very conscientious about keeping their residents safe and healthy. The ladies who came out to take her in were angels sent from above. Mom was smiling and completely at ease because of these ladies.Ever since then we have seen several pictures of her posted by the Hughes Homes staff on their Facebook page, smiling and looking more healthy than wed seen her in a long time. Everyone we talk to says they just love her and Im sure she feels the same about them. That is the Christian spirit I feel coming from staff at Hughes Home. Id highly recommend them to anyone who wants place their loved ones in a safe,loving,nurturing home. Hughes Home is by far the best!

Hughes Home has been a wonderful place for my mother. Daryl and his team of angles treat my mother and all the residents like family. The team is always available when I call, they call me to keep me informed of any opportunities and they do what they say they will do. I am writing this review because it is important to me that Daryl and his angles know that I am thankful for them every day. I especially appreciate the guidance I receive from them regarding next steps for my mother who has dementia. I have piece of mind knowing she is in good hands 24, 7.

Wonderful facility, the administrator really seems to care about educating their staff constantly to provide the best care possible.Its at a beautiful location near the river. Very clean facility and very professional staff.

In a business that seems to have a fair share of people out to make a buck by not being honest, Daryl Sullivan and the staff at Hughes Home stand out as honest and reputable. When you are seeking a place for your loved one and hidden costs are everywhere, Daryl is totally upfront and you can take his word to the bank. His staff is very caring. No surprise this place has been in business a long time!

Our dad has been here almost a year after living with me and my family for 3.5 years. We hear so many horror stories about elder care so it was scary to find a place for him to live after I could no longer take care of his needs. The staff is so caring and helpful and Dad is well taken care of. My sisters and I know that he can be difficult so we are extra appreciative of the good care (and love!) that he receives at Hughes.

I love working at Hughes Home. Its been my home away from home. Working for the elderly in need has been challenging but it cant be helped. The folks living there need me. I will be forever thankful for this opportunity to help ease, guide and protect them in their home. This being their last stop before their ultimate demise lets make the best of it for all of them. Be kind to the elderly even if it warrants sacrificing your time away from home situations to love and cherish them. The families do the ultimate by sacrifices by finding a great home for their loved ones. So we make it the best for them.

My mother, Carol, has been in Hughes Home now for a little over a year and I have been extremely satisfied with the care she is receiving. When I go to visit her I am greeted warmly by the staff, who want to tell me about her and how she is doing. My mother is happy and loves the people who care for her. I wouldnt think of moving her anywhere else!

My mom has Alzheimers along with other complications and she had been in two facilities prior to Hughes Home. There is no comparison to the care she is receiving now - the administration and staff at Hughes are top-notch, caring,and dedicated professionals and I can sleep for the first time in seven months, knowing that my mom is well-cared for. Thank you so much, Daryl, for providing our community with an alternative that is not only far superior than other options, but more economical as well. Keep up the great work!!

Darryl Sullivan of Hughes Home is one of the most compassionate people we have ever met. When in need of a place for my mother in law in an emergency situation, Darryl stuck his hand out to help. The care for my mother in law who has severe dementia was excellent. Mom was there for over a year and the financial strain was becoming quite hard. Darryl helped us with getting information on getting Medicaid help for mom. His devotion towards his residents as well as their families is amazing. God Bless him for everything he has done for us and his help to us. Thank you is just not enough! He has truly been a blessing in our lives. Alma and Sonny Bettis

My Dad was at Hughes Home from Aug 2015 until his death in Aug 2016. We were very pleased with his care, especially the last months when he was under hospice care. A big thank you to all the staff for your care and showing such compassion during his transition.....
