My father and I couldn’t be any happier with our choice of hiring Comfort Keepers of Fairfax. My dads aide Asia knows my fathers needs, and she takes care of them without being prompted. She is always so up beat, and is a great companion for my dad. My standards for choosing the right agency for my father were very high because I worked for an agency for over 14 years as an aide, and Office Coordinator, hiring training and scheduling new staff. Based on my professional standards, the staff at Comfort Keepers are very professional, organized and caring. The office Internal Care Coordinator Kim Harrington cares so much about the clients and their families that she calls and checks in on us to see how things are going and to see how my father is doing. That speaks volumes! I highly recommend Comfort Keepers of Fairfax to anyone looking to find home care for their loved ones!

Great people, great service. Jenna was the best! As anyone who uses this type of service knows, things are always in flux with the elderly. Comfort Keepers was very accommodating and extremely flexible. We ended up stopping and starting a few times but they were great about it. I used Comfort Keepers to provide someone to help around the house during my first week of recovery after a total knee replacement. This was my second knee replacement and during the first one, taking care of me was too much for my wife to manage. I was not allowed to traverse the stairs for a while, (we have a lot of steps in our house), and I needed to recover in the bedroom. Comfort Keepers provided a person named Meseret who was always on time and usually a little early every day. She helped my wife prepare meals and bring things up the stairs to me. She cleaned up, filled my ice machine, brought me water and did whatever we asked. During slow times, we talked and shared stories about our lives and families. She was very sweet, kind and always at the ready to help whenever needed. I cannot praise her enough and highly recommend her. Making the arrangements with Comfort Keepers was easy. They were very competent and very flexible. We had some particular requests and Comfort Keepers met them all. The caregiver they provided allowed me an easy transition back into my home after surgery. I highly recommend them and will certainly use them again if a need arises.

I really appreciate Qunitella who comes to our home weekly to provide services for my mother while I attend to other things. She is an excellent caregiver and I cannot thank her enough for her help. If you are at the point where you can see that your older parents need help and a respite on the part of the caregiver spouse, you wont find a more responsive company than Comfort Keepers!Our Mom has Alzheimers, and my Dad at 92, was still taking care of her all by himself!As the disease progressed he was becoming worn out physically and highly stressed by never being able to leave her or do anything he used to enjoy independently.We hired Comfort Keepers after receiving a recommendation from close friends whose Mother was being cared for by them.We called, had an intake interview in my parents apartment with them present and laid out what we felt Dad needed in the way of assistance with Mom. He gave feedback.We started with only a few days a week for about half a day and have now expanded Moms care to every day 8 to 8.They do all the physical things Mom needs—bathing, changing, meals, walks, stimulating activities and just giving our Dad a chance to get away and get a break. We were able to hire them for a weekend so Dad could have a little vacation and to call them in a pinch when Dad was taken to the emergency room and hospitalized for several nights.They had someone there overnight with Mom, and were even available for Christmas Day as our Dad was still recovering.The office is extremely responsive to emails and calls and they really listen and implement suggestions and requests for our Moms particular personality and needs.Best thing we ever did was to hire Comfort Keepers.
