Dunlop House – Reviews
February 2023
It's been 2 years now since my MIL was a resident there and when we encounter team members in the community, it is like seeing old friends. They made her last years so much better and gave us peace of mind. All staff were very good to her, but the activities and dining room folks were especially sweet and kind.

My wife's grandmother is housed here. Have had little issues since she's arrived. Great place for people with needs to live out their final years.
June 2022
Our Dad, Carl Miller, was a resident at Dunlop House from January 2018 until April 2020 when he went to the hospital and subsequently passed away from COVID. Going in, we knew Dad had some dementia, but he was extremely sociable and loved to engage with folks around him. When initially looking at assisted living/memory care places, I was immediately attracted to Dunlop House because of the very attractive facilities that were geared toward encouraging socialization. The beautiful light-filled atrium with its high ceilings and comfy seating is the center of activity. And there is such a variety of activities, programs, trips and activities that brought in folks from the outside community. Dad truly enjoyed the art classes and any kind of musical entertainment-- especially Craig Anders! Especially loved that the residents had the opportunity to "give back" and help with the community by participating in Food Bank activities. Dad especially enjoyed interactions with the local DFW and any opportunity to "get on the bus". Dunlop House was absolutely the best place for our Dad.

My family developed this place in the late 90’s. It has served community well and is, post COVID, keeping seniors safe and engaged . So proud of the caring staff

I had the honor of working with the Dunlop House soon after the building opened until my semi-retirement in 2019. I was a Regional Director and always loved my visits there. The Residents were the best. Sitting at the entrance on a warm day or in the large, inviting lobby area year-round, they were there to greet and welcome you. Always a story to share, a song, a laugh or just a smile. And the staff-my, oh my, some of the best! The longevity of many of those dedicated people explains a great deal. They not only love what they do, but they love the Residents that they get to spend each day/night with. Enjoying your job at that level is a gift. The activity and event planners help make retirement living FUN. Kind, caring maintenance, housekeeping, nursing and dining services staff are all individuals with passion, commitment, and a deep love for what they do. It shows in actions, not just words. They put the Residents first and treat them like the Family they are. The Dunlop House is the best place to live and work!

The facility was very clean and residents were being engaged And seemed very happy. Within an hour of our tour we had already received a follow-up email thanking us for our visit and offering future services.

I had the privilege of working at the,Dunlop House for 6 years in the activity department, and continue to do volunteer work !! Starting with the administrator STACEY BOWEN who is so caring towards her residents and her employees !! There is a new marketing Director, Holly Pond who I personally know will be a wonderful asset to DUNLOP House ! All the office staff are also caring and helpful !! I would recommend the DUNLOP HOUSE to any of my family or friends !!

My loved one was a resident here at Dunlop House for a little over 2 years. She recently passed away due to natural causes. The staff was EXCELLENT from the time she moved in up until the time she passed away. The nurses and aides provided QUALITY care for our loved one. They were also very supportive and empathetic toward our family during our time of mourning due to the loss of our family member. I would recommend this facility to anyone with a family member in need of some extra care that you can't provide...the staff here will provide them with the excellent care that they deserve.

Wonderful caring staff & a beautiful place to call home. They were so good to my Mom while she was there. I was so pleased with her care & their concern for her well being. They took all my worries about her safety while I was at work. Highly recommend.
