We toured Sunrise Alexandria recently. Although we selected another Sunrise community, that decision was based primarily on location to family members to facilitate visits. We found the staff to be attentive, friendly and considerate; they were extremely accommodating and patient as we changed our appointment date and then the time of our arrival. The facility was conveniently located other services and was well appointed and maintained. I would strongly recommend Sunrise Alexandria to any family looking for an assisted care community in this area.

This facility is tops in my book!!! My Dad was treated with the best care possible. The rooms are nicely appointed, clean, with updated furnishings. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating they would call me any time of day or night with updates on his care. I was always received with a warm and professional greeting when visiting the property. They should conduct trainings on how to care for your loved ones and treat families to all the facilities in the Metro area!!! The Executive Director, Emily Apyan always went above and beyond the call of duty. She would take my questions any time of day or night. She extended herself far above my expectations. Our relationship has continued although my Dad is no longer with us. I am so very grateful that my Dad spent his last days in this top notch facility. They took such wonderful care of him and treated him like family. Words cannot express my sincere thanks to Emily and her entire team. I highly recommend Sunrise of Alexandria to everyone who loves and cares about their loved one! Our family is extremely thankful and appreciative of the experience.

I love the place where I live! So what if I am 42 years young living with seniors or old people? We are all human and have the right to live in a place of love, happiness, joy, and of course I think the first place to have rubber ducks (My Quackie family) as friends. I love helping with activities! The more involved with Sunrise I get, the more happier I get! Sunrise of Alexandria is awesome! If we keep our residents happy, I will keep myself happy as well! ?? My tour of this community was a good one. This is a lovely community with kind people. The community from what I saw looked nice, everything appeared to be well-kept. Everyone was very kind, and friendly. My questions were answered, and the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately this was not the right match for my wife, and her needs. However my tour was a good one overall.

We toured this community. The staff was able to answer my questions. They had a nice menu and they had a good variety of good meals. They had some activities, but not a lot. The community was clean and maintained. This was nice community and families might consider a tour for care.
