I just wanted to write a review and let you know how much we appreciate the services that Care To Stay Home gives to my mother. We live way across the country and she wants to be in her home and independent. Without Care To Stay Home none of our lives would be as easy as they are now. I appreciate the attentiveness of staff and the friendly manner that they provide the services but with also gentle concern For the clients well-being. I appreciate the communication that I get from Care To Stay Home regarding what they see as possible needs. This service has enabled my 97-year-old mother to feel independent and have more dignity as she goes through her day. Thank you Care To Stay Home for making my life and my families life easier in knowing that my mother is taken care of.

We have worked with Care to Stay Home for several years with two sons in wheel chairs and a debilitating illness and they have been wonderful! My grandmother lives in St. George and our family received a call that she had a fall and was in the Hospital. She was going to need help when she returned home. We immediately began looking for the right people to help out and found Care To Stay Home. What a wonderful company with great people! Thank you for always being available and attentive to our families needs. Every caregiver that was sent out to the home was amazing. The approach and services are good but the service staff that came to our home was inexperienced and at the same time, not sufficiently interested in studying an responding to our written need. Also our first helper was a temporary who had neither been pre-briefed, nor able to pass on what she learned in that visit to our regular. The regular, over the next several months was a bit rough around the edges and never seemed to understand or learn about hearing-aids, shopping trips, and other routines that were important to us. She also didnt realize that the patient was suspicious of her, not that that was warranted, but the problem was never addressed and things spiraled out of control to where we had to terminate our relationship. I think more oversight would have been appropriate both to monitor performance, and to address problems that were not clear to inexperienced staff.

My wife has been hospitalized six times over the past two years, and following hospitalization, she has been in rehabilitation centers, rebuilding strength and life skills. For the past six months, she has been in our home with Home Health Care Rehabilitation and with the support services of Care to Stay at Home. We have two different people from Care to Stay at Home assisting her in the mornings. It is the care and cordiality shown her by the Care to Stay at Home staff (Gerry and Holly) that provides her comfort, female to female support, and energy to live at home. They also relate well with the Rehabilitation group, assisting and attending to their identified needs. The Care to Stay at Home has been a very positive experience, allowing my wife the confidence and building the will to remain more independent as she has aged.
