I’ve really been impressed with this community. The #1 reason why I would refer my parents to live there is the staff. They’ve created a culture there that is so enjoyable that you won’t find in any other communities in the valley. Leadership are devoted to making a great experience for the residents. Every time I enter the building, there’s always an activity going on and there’s always many residents participating. That tells me that residents enjoy where they’re living. I’ve participated in many food events and their dining experience is top notch. The nursing staff is one of a kind. So caring and lovable to the residents. Schedule a tour to visit this community. Jeanette and Shelby will give you a 5 star experience!

We visited several places before choosing The Wellington for our mom. When we walked in the door, we knew this was the place for her. The feeling when you walk in is welcoming and kind and the facility is clean and well maintained. Most of all, the staff is exceptional. If we ever had an issue or needed anything it was always taken care of quickly and with a smile. CeCe and Janette are fantastic and did all they could to accommodate our needs. Sarah, the activities director, made our mom feel included and made everything fun for her. We always felt our mom was safe and well cared for, there is a real family atmosphere at The Wellington.

It has been such a wonderful experience to be a part of The Wellington family. Our amazing staff and residents have really become a part of our family! My children love to come visit and help with the many activities offered for our residents. The culture of service and giving back is very strong at The Wellington! It has been such an honor to be a part of this incredible home away from home! Our youngest daughter had a kidney transplant three years ago and has been a constant patient at Primary Children’s Hospital! Our residents have fallen in love with her and all my children and in fact have done many service projects for Primary Childrens Hospital, Make-A-WishWish and other wonderful programs in our community. I will never forget when our youngest was in the hospital for 14 days. During our long stay at the hospital, our Wellington Family sent her cards, teddy bears and drove by her hospital room, in the big bus, to cheer her up. Staff and Residents also tied green ribbons on all the trees for her to see when we finally were able to come home. It was such a sweet homecoming. This was not possible without loving and caring members of the wellington staff. If you want your family member to be loved, well taken care of and know they are helping and serving others, please consider taking a tour at the Wellington! You won’t regret it!!

Though my mom was only able to stay a few months, we found The Wellington willing to assist at every turn of circumstances. The Executive Director Cecelia made herself available to help very promptly and always with a great attitude and concern. The staff made adjustments when necessary to accommodate my mom's changing needs. Communication was very good and I appreciate their willingness to help even in the final move out process. I highly recommend them.

I wish I could leave a good review unfortunately that would not be truthful. The environment at Wellington saddening me, I visited my grandmother weekly as time allows and every time, I go in its a ghost town, and it does not matter wheat time of day it is. as I go in to see mom she cries and just wants to leave. she said all I do is sit in my room and watch tv and sleep, they don't even know I am alive. as I call to check on my grandmother, they claim she is wonderful and so happy hear. Every time I come see her, she wants to go get food, and I ask have you not eaten? she tells me the food is Terrible. it seems like they do not have enough staff to help everybody. and its weird that nobody is ever at the front desk, way scary.

The Wellington was so generous to our nonprofit! The residents raised money and used it to put together gift baskets. The baskets included a helmet, skate tool, and treats. The staff and residents came and delivered them to the participants. They do this type of service and others every month for the community.

The wellington is understaffed, therefore the care level your loved ones receive is very subpar, the activates are not stimulating and boring, after dinner there is nothing to do except a movie. If they do not like your loved ones, they will receive the minimum service. They want to collect rent period. They have residents in the halls in diapers, underwear and nude and think its ok.

There is so many senior living community's please keep looking this is not a safe place for your loved ones to be. I will say this, they are understaffed, make promises to get you in the door but do not live up to them. When my mom had Covid the locked her into her room, which is protocol, BUT nobody came by to see here, and they missed meals, forgetting she was there, the meals they brought were cold. Then mom had a very very aggressive resident come to her room, I will not go into details but this place is NOT Safe.

The activities director is seriously the best one I have ever seen. She genuinely loves the residents and it shows! She is constantly thinking of unique and fun activities to entertain and lift their spirits. Covid this year has especially made things challenging but Amy has risen to the occasion with creativity and optimism.

My mom has lived at Wellington for a little over 2 months and our experience has been very good so far. During our initial tour of the facility the staff answered all our questions and set appropriate expectations of the service and amenities they offered. The most pleasant surprise to me is how involved the administrative staff is with the residents. On many occasions when visiting my mom, I noticed members of the management team sitting down and visiting with a single resident or a group of residents. After my mom moved in, they made an extra effort in dropping by my moms apartment to see how she was doing and making sure she was aware of the activities planned for the week. They would introduce my mom to other residents and in time my mom felt more and more comfortable participating in activities and visiting with the other residents. The residents are quite friendly. I cant count the number of times a resident came and sat with my mom and I while we were having dinner or lunch. The center encourages family and friends of the residents to visit the facility and frequently host brunch or lunch. Guests pay for their own meals but my mom loves having the family visit and join her for meals. She said it makes her feel like she did when she was home

This is a comprehensive review for The Wellington. I usually refrain from writing reviews from places where I work, have worked before, but The Wellington deserves it.The building is always being renovated. I seldom walk by a hall that does not have some type of improvement in progress. Maintenance does an excellent job in fulfilling orders and theyre able to manage multiple calls at a time. Rooms are clean and housekeeping checks the rooms regularly. I have asked for permission to take pictures of the rooms to give you a better idea. All pictures taken were from model units. They decorate the building for each holiday, which is a nice touch. Management is the best Ive ever seen. Every person that walks through the front door has the residents best interest at heart. No job is too small and no job is too complex. Everybody works as a team to accomplish a common goal. I have never seen such dedicated team, its like a well oiled machine. Its not uncommon to see the executive director (Scott) or the director of sales (Jeanette) serving tables or answering call lights. Theyre always open to hear suggestions that will improve the quality of care provided. You can truly tell when someone cares about their residents. The DON (Josh) and the ADON (Gabby) work with you to figure out a good schedule. Im finishing up nursing school and my schedule was absolutely bananas. Since day one theyve worked with me to figure out a time that will work for me. Proper training was provided and I felt prepared to start my new job. They staff the floors properly so residents dont have to wait for very long and staff arent overworked. Both the Med Techs and Aides help each other out. Its common to be trained on both positions so in case a fellow coworker needs assistance, someone will be able to help you. Everyone is willing to help you, all you need to do is ask. The Wellington deserves its reputation and I would not be surprised if they kept it that way for a long time. MBK has done a great job with this facility and It was an absolute pleasure working here. I unhesitatingly recommend this place, both for residents and future employees.

My mom spent her last 8 months at the Wellington and just loved it. Great food, great activities, fantastic residents and excellent staff. Before coming to the Wellington she was getting ripped off at another establishment that wont be named (see my other reviews to find out). The wellington took care of her, was conveniently located, and had such a loving and comfortable atmosphere. The staff is very prompt and sweet and professional, even attending the funeral service for my mother. We visited several institutions around the valley and this one cannot be beat for price and care. Get on the wait list now because theyll be booked forever.

Kept up nice but staff was rude! I had to hunt down an aide to help the woman I was caring for. I would investigate it well before I would live there.

The Wellington is one of the finest assisted living facilities I have ever seen! You can tell from the second you walk in that everyone there truly cares about the residents and takes a lot of pride in what they do. I have friends whose parents live here and they cant speak highly enough about the staff, facilities, and everything else involved. 5 stars all the way!

We highly recommend the Wellington. Throughout the last 2 years, without exception, every person taking care of our mom - from the nursing staff, CNAs, housekeeping, kitchen staff and management - always go the extra mile to ensure every detail is taken care of. They are efficient, gracious and attentive. The activities and all facilities such as the kitchen, building and grounds are outstanding and well administered. In particular, we wish to call attention to Jeanette Chidester and Scott Ambrose for their personal and unparalleled involvement in every aspect of the operations and administration of the Wellington. The positive, generous and friendly culture they have created at the Wellington is clearly present and expressed by every employee.

Recently, my husband and I found it necessary to contact the Wellington to inquire about care for my husbands mother. We had previously toured the Wellington and it was without question, stunning. Additionally, when we found it necessary to contact them later during a time of crisis for my mother-in-laws needs, the staff, from administrator, marketing manager, nursing staff and others were exceptional! These individuals made a really tough time in our family manageable with the least amount of stress possible. They were like a gang of angels. We will never forget how well we were treated, how well we were helped to navigate some rough waters. We are still impressed at how well they are taking care of my husbands mother on a daily basis. Kudos to all! Thank you

I have only been at the Wellington for 3 weeks. I have met many lovely people, both staff & residents. We have support from many areas & very helpful. We have so many things to do & also to be a part of, such as bingo, crafts, movies, site seeing drives & transport to the doctors, exercise of different types, types of machines to use. Transportation to & from church. It meets all my needs, & many more, depending on your needs they have it. I am very glad I was able to get an apartment here. The food is great! Many, many choices of food. The grounds are well kept. The maintenance people are very helpful. It has been a very good choice for me.

My mother spent two months at the Wellington. It is a beautiful and well-managed facility, with cheerful, competent, responsive employees and an eagle-eyed administration. My mothers suite was stylishly decorated. The dining room was totally delightful: Fascinating conversation with residents, a proud, professional wait staff, and very good food. The atmosphere is clean, open, sunny and warm. The exercise room is excellent.I appreciate it even more now that my dear Mama is in a dementia ward that costs twice is much and is abysmal.
