My dad moved into Autumn Wind Assisted Living last year (2021) and they have been fantastic. What has stood out most is how the staff seems to really care about the residents. The director is very hands on and more importantly communicates with family on a regular basis. If you are looking for a “perfect” place it does not exist, but we could not be happier with Autumn Wind.

Autumn Wind is an independent living facility that has beautiful apartments that make you feel like you live in a beautiful home. They have one and two bedrooms, large bathrooms , a full size kitchen with your own washer and dryer and lovely living areas with patios in the front and back of the apartments. The staff is very kind and helpful. It is nice to live with people who care about each other. It is nice to have your independence at this stage of life and yet there is help here 24 hours a day if you need it. I am very thankful to have the freedom to live independently in a safe, lovely environment.

We just found out that a friend of ours was in the assisted living part. It smelled awful, the resident door was filthy, kiosk where you sign in was filthy our friend hadn't been shaved. I know these people in the assisted living might not be able to speak up about how dirty it is. So someone needs too.

I visited Autumn Wind and was greeted by a friendly and hardworking staff. The facility is amazingly clean and does not have the typical assisted living smell that other facilities have. I met several residents whos needs were being met during a power outage and major storm by all levels of workers from the top administrative staff all the way to custodial. Workers assisted to keep residents calm and taken care of. As I waited out the storm I was able to see a variety of activities and events scheduled for residents to keep them active and engaged. My only regret, is that I did not place one of my own family members here before he passed away in another facility that was far less superior and inviting.

Our experience with Autumn Wind has been awesome. After a severe stroke, we brought our mother home and cared for her. Full time care was needed and we had a hard time keeping staff around the clock. Mom also needed to be around people her own age. She spent a wonderful year at Autumn Winds. The staff was always helpful and she concentrated on physical and occupational therapy. We were able to bring mom home again because of the care and encouragement she received at Autumn Wind. Michael is phenomenal and all the staff truly treated mom like a family member. She will spend a month there this year, catching up with everyone and is extremely excited to return for a short stay.

I love everything about Autumn Wind Independent Living. The staff is unbelievably incredible. I hope I can live here forever. I want all my friends to live here too. I highly recommend leaving all that mowing and Weed eating to the younger generation and come live here. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Today we came to the Easter celebration and Miachel Herrera did an outstanding job once again! He always makes everyone feel welcomed. He is definitely a blessing to the residents and community. Thanks to all the staff for their help today feting my Aunt Pat on her 88th birthday. They did a special birthday table at lunch, helped me get situated to set up her party after lunch, came by and visited and wished her happy birthday. Pat said it best: I love it here. They are so good to me. This is my home And she was able to share her day with her friends and neighbors without having to leave home. Now in her fifth year here.

Its so good to get a call from your mom who says she has been so busy with all the activities that she doesnt have time to call. Thats a great sign of people who care about the needs of others.
