The Memory Care nurses are AWESOME! They are very compassionate, organized & helpful. They keep the residents busy!!! Also, the front desk assistant (Carol) is amazing!

Our mother moved into The Blake at Waco seven months ago. Her experience has been great. She can find onsite essentially everything she needs…her apartment, three squares, medical care, supervised therapy, social activities, exercise opportunities, laundry facilities, friendship and more. She’s generally been very pleased with her decision to join the community at The Blake.

The Blake has been such a fantastic place for my parents. When we began looking for the perfect place for our mom and dad, we prayed for a place where they could feel at home. We have found it at The Blake. The staff is caring and sometimes just drop in to say "hi". I don't know if they realize how much that means to my parents and our family. They have started calling The Blake home and we believe it is.

My mom is in Memory Care. The entire nursing and staff are THE BEST you could ever find. They truly care and have a heart for the residents and this type of work with dementia and it can't be easy. The nurses tirelessly work hard to give their attention to every need, and they treat all our mom and dad's there with respect. With this terrible brain disease, the nurses are incredible to never neglect the residents. The Memory Care unit is bright and clean, and the staff is always friendly, professional and exceptional. The entire staff brings a happy, bright atmosphere every day. We are so Blessed our mom is here. I just LOVE all the nurses and staff there that give so much every day. They are all truly Hero's.
