I love the residents and staff at Morada East. I have offered line dance classes and the turnout was great. Its really fun getting everyone moving Its also fun just to watch. I always look forward to our line dance sessions. Love you guys!

My brother and I visited today to tour and gain information about the facility as a possibility for our parents. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. We left with smiles on our faces as we figure out this transition in our family. Three years ago my brother and I began the care giving journey for our parents in partnership with Morada Independent Living. This year in February, we ended the journey with Morada Memory Care. They were welcomed back with great grace and kindness by Sharon and Jan. Jessica led the team of compassionate caregivers. They were attentive, gentle and well-trained to care for mom and dad's needs. They not only showed patience and loving kindness to our parents, but to my brother and me. Mom and dad entered the community on Hospice care, and along with Crown Hospice, the care was soft and gentle and full of love. Their stay was shorter than we had hoped, as God called them both Home. We couldn't have asked for better help and compassion throughout their stay and transition, for our parents especially, but also for us. I would recommend Morada's communities for any family needing support. They offer it with love, attention, thoroughness, and compassionate care!

Morada is a remarkable living community for seniors, characterized by its beauty and commitment to care. When we were searching for a suitable home for our mother, Morada Victoria immediately felt like the right choice. The facility is as stunning as the photographs suggest; however, it is the dedicated staff that truly distinguishes Morada. The team is exceptionally caring and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that residents feel at home. We initially interacted with Jan during the enrollment process, and she provided us with all the necessary information with great kindness. Additionally, Kelly, the Business Office Manager, is always available to assist with any inquiries. The entire staff displays a friendly demeanor, and I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone in search of a supportive and welcoming community for their loved ones!

My Mom has been in the assisted living unit for about four years. She has loved the people who daily assist her and care for her. She was prescribed a heart monitor around a month ago with which she was very confused as how to operate it. Daily, the helpers assisted her and on the day she was finished with the monitoring, the director disconnected the monitor and sent it back as instructed. This was way beyond what I expected. I didn't even have to remind them about the extra care she needed during that time. Thanks to all of you in assisted living!

Mom has been here for 1 month. The change in her is amazing. She gets to do activities with others, she loves Bingo. I don’t worry about her having something to eat, because she gets a healthy meal at every mealtime. She has gained weight and her Dr was very please.

Very caring and pleasant staff. My mother is being cared for at their memory care facility. Although it's frustrating at the moment to be unable to visit with her the way I'd like (Covid-19 protections), it is very satisfying to know that she is in such great hands. Highly recommended.

My Dad has been a resident at Greatwood in both the Independent and Assisted Living buildings. The entire staff is caring , kind and treats Dad the way they would want someone to treat their father. Their compassionate care and support extends to the family. They prioritize good communication , keeping me informed of anything that arises and they are very responsive when I have questions or need reassurance. These past few months ,during Covid-19, have been emotionally difficult for me since I've not been able to visit Dad. Knowing that the staff is not only prioritizing his health and safety but that they are also attentive to his emotional needs provides me with peace of mind. I am very grateful.

I have first hand knowledge of all three sections of this location having parents reside in the independent side, the assisted living area as well as the memory care center. The care and support that you get from the staff is beyond measure. I feel secure in knowing that my parents and in-laws and well taken care of by everyone at Greatwood Homes of Victoria.

My mom has been a resident for about 10 years through the changes in ownership of the facility and of course the coming and going of residents and staff. Enough of the residents have been long term so that it provides a sense of community for her. Also, enough of the staff have remained consistent through the years so as provide continuity of care and have a good knowledge and understanding of my mom's history. Through times of physical and mental health challenges, the nursing support and advocacy have been evident. As I live out of state, I count on good communication from the caregivers to keep me in the loop of my mom's day to day life concerning health and activity level, changes in condition, etc. They have stayed in touch by e-mail and phone calls to provide that input. This facility is nicely maintained and has a homey feel - my mom is content and calls it home so we are pleased with that. Debbie Sohn

Hello! I just want to tell you how much my family appreciates Greatwood Senior Living in Victoria TX. Our mom, LaVon S. , lives in independent living there and just loves the place! The Greatwood employees are the best! Last night on December 11, 2019 was the Greatwood Christmas party. Those people went all out! It was fantastic! The residents with family and friends had a wonderful fun time. There was tons of delicious food, beverages, and a small band playing country and Christmas music. Some people even danced! The facility was decorated up in grand holiday fashion. A shout out to the employees who make this place so special. Sharon, the Director, Jan, assistant director, Chere the chef, and Linda Wright the Activities Director along with all the numerous workers who help them. It is a great team. Everyone of them helped residents to get food or find a place to sit or waited on the ones who Needed help. I know the staff spent days planning this and were trying to work around all the remodeling that is also going on at this time. So please commend the entire staff at Greatwood Senior Living in Victoria TX for making living there the best for all the residents! Thank you! Peggy Yandell

The staff has gone above and beyond for my mom who is in assisted living. I have such comfort knowing her needs are being met and that she is in the hands of excellent care. Elodia has assisted my mom for quite some time and she is patient, kind, and always available. Betty is another staff member that is always making my mom laugh and so gentle and kind. I especially want to recognize Marissa. If you want your family member or loved one seen about, this is the individual who goes above and beyond. She feels like family and treats us like we are. She goes the extra mile, and provides not only care, but companionship for mom. She saw mom through hurricane Harvey and has consistency been available for the care and well being of her every need. Mom's spirit is completely lifted because of the ongoing love and kindness of the staff and care she receives. Every one of you is a blessing and thank you for caring for my mom!
