I went there for a interview and the facility was clean and smelled good. That's the first thing I look for because that means the residents are well taken care of. I went to the dining room and I see the residents laughing and joking with staff which also means they are treated well enough for it to feel like home. Definitely would recommend. Staff is also nice and courteous from what I've seen so far.

I lived at Greenbrier for about 2 years before moving to assisted living. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was really good! I even still am in contact with the staff even after leaving. I appreciate them.

Came here for rehab. The food is wonderful. Reminds me of my mom's home cooked meals. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They answer my call light before I even have time to put it down. Thank you for all the great care.

I have been employed with GBNC - Tyler since July of last year. I have seen for myself that the staff at GBNC - Tyler are like family. Each one of them do care about taking the best care for our residents. The nursing staff is one of the best in the business in terms of experience and how well they aide each resident to the best of their ability.

You won't find a more caring staff than those at Greenbrier Tyler. I love seeing the residents interact with each other and with the loving staff. It is so fun to see some of these residents starting to enjoy life, meals and activities again. So often they missed this when living alone.

The care and attitudes of the staff at Greenbrier is evident as soon as you walk in the building. The leadership such as the Director of Nursing, Scherie, treats her staff with such respect which has proven to increase and maintain the quality of care in the building. The activity director has such "out of the box" ideas to keep the residents engaged and happy. I definitely recommend Greenbrier if you have a loved one that has needs that are beyond your ability to take care of them at home.

Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab has the most caring Nursing staff I have ever met! The residents here are always happy when you walk in the front door..........they always have good activities going on there whether it be a fun game or the residents cooking something good too eat!! Facilities like this a few and far between! 5 stars for sure!

Greenbrier Nursing & Rehab is awesome. I was here in 2011 for Rehab myself and I loved it. I am now have my father in law in here for his Rehab to stay long term. All the staff members were good to me and my father-in-law loves it here too.

I am currently the assistant director of nursing here at Greenbrier Tyler. I have worked here since 2009 but left for a year and a half while I moved to Hawaii. As soon as I moved back I came straight back to Greenbrier because I feel like this is my second home. The residents here mean so much to me and practically are my second family. We have a great management team that strive daily to make sure our residents needs are met. I have worked for several nursing homes here in Tyler but Greenbrier has always been the best to me.

I am an employee in the Admissions/Marketing position. I enjoy my job because it gives me a way to serve our seniors, helping them with questions and guiding the families through the process of admission. We have a really nice facility. It is a quaint, older building, but has been renovated and has nice hardwood floors with a home like atmosphere. We have a cozy dinning room and really great food. Many of our employees choose to "eat in" because the food is so good. We recently got a new Director of Nursing, who is so energetic and excited about caring for our residents. Our Administrator is friendly and welcoming to our visitors, family members and residents. I recently had an insurance representative come in and comment on how she noticed that everywhere she went in the building, she saw nurses and aids smiling. When I tour families around our home, they often comment on how clean and friendly it is.

I am currently the Patient Care Coordinator here at Greenbrier of Tyler, I have worked in several nursing facilities across East Texas as well as DFW. I absolutely love our staff and their willingness and ability to help our residents with whatever they need on a daily bases, Doris our DON and Nicole our ADON are amazing with hands on help with our daily tasks with our residents, whether it is helping transfer a resident from their bed to a chair or helping assist with meals and activities! Laurie the Administrator is very knowledgeable in every aspect of the facility. It's been an amazing place to work with amazing staff as well as numerous activities for our residents and the food is very well prepared and thought out by our Diatary Manager Kristi
