My uncle ia staying at this facility and each time that I visit, has been a great experience. The staff is always so pleasant. While in his room, I could hear the staff going to rooms checking on others. By the time they made it to my uncles room, they greeted me and him with the biggest smile. I felt more comfortable leaving him because I feel that he is well taken care of. I would refer everyone that I know. Letitia C.

I first met the administrative team at Colonial Oaks in Sugar Land in 2005 when I was seeking assisted living for my 75 yr old dad and my 96 yr old grandmother. I am an RN by license for many years so I knew what I was looking for in this situation. The administrative staff was accommodating to my needs as well as my Dad and Grandmother. We were welcomed to visit any time of day to bridge the gap during the "settling in" time. The care was individualized to maximize their comfort, safety, and rehabilitation while staying at Colonial Oaks. As a professional in the assisted living industry, I highly recommend this facility.

My husband is in memory care at this community. He receives very good care from the Memory Care Director, Pam Kelley and her wonderful staff. The decision to place him in a community was a difficult one, but I have comfort in the knowledge that he is taken care of very well. The Community Director and her staff are welcoming, kind and efficient.
April 2022
Both of our parents have stayed at this location. Caring staff, beautiful facility, clean, safe, well staffed, exceptional management, professional, great food choices and catered to each individual needs. What else can I say. We were in a crisis looking and a friend recommended this location. They treated the whole family as if they had known us forever.
February 2022
I had passed the facility many times and I thought that it looked very nice from the outside, butI had no idea of how warm and inviting it would be on the inside. I am very protective of my loved one, having been the only one to take care of her since my uncle's accidental death three years prior. But Upon entering I was greeted by warm front desk staff and Clarissa, the head lady of the facility, made me feel completely comfortable leaving my Aunt in the care of the amazing staff and doctors working at and for the facility. My Aunt loves the food. Anyone who Loves their elderly family member should really consider The Reserve at First Colony. It is the best decision that I have made in a long time.

Wonderful community!! The care is outstanding and they truly care about their residents!! Highly recommend!
October 2020
My mother has been at Colonial Oaks First Colony for 4-12 years. The accommodations, care, love, activities and food are way above average; I never worry! She recently broke her arm and after surgery was temporarily sent to a skilled nursing rehab facility where the care was unacceptable. The Colonial Oaks director assured us they could take care of all her needs (including therapy) there. We immediately moved mom back to her home there and she bounced back quickly. They truly know and care for the residents and there is very little turn over; wonderful staff!

Ms. Kimberly & Ms. Courtney are very knowledgeable & polite. Colonial Oaks senior living is very clean , and they have lots of activities for people to do.
April 2016
I am so thankful that a friend told me about Colonial Oaks at First Colony when I had to find help and support for my father. My friends mother lived there for years and was very happy so I stopped in to see what kind of place it was.The decor is very nice but what interested me the most was the experience of the management team. Clarissa and Kim have been there for around 15 years and they reassured me they would be there for me and my father to help with transitioning him from his home to a new facility. The transition took a couple of months but when I call or visit him now he is never in his room alone. He is either on the bus going somewhere, enjoying live entertainment, walking in the courtyards or visiting with his new friends!I recommend Colonial Oaks to any family because of the excellent care and respect they give my father.Pam W...grateful daughter
