There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for the care of my father has received at Brookdale Sugar Land. The nurses and caregivers are like angels. His health has improved drastically since moving to Brookdale. Staff is consistent and they have taken the time to know him. We are especially grateful for Karen and Corey for all of the care and attention they have given our father.

My mother has lived at Brookdale Sugar Land for almost a year. There is no place I'd rather her be. All of the staff, from the receptionist, nursing and everyone in between are nothing but respectful, attentive, professional, and genuinely care for the residents, like if they were their own family. My mind is at ease knowing she's in caring hands. Thank you, Brookdale for all you do and represent.

Update - My dad needed hospice and due to other medical conditions most places would not take him. Brookdale stepped up and took him in knowing it was for a short stay. they helped us navigate paperwork and along with the hospice that stayed with him 24/7 their own staff was very kind and helpful. He was there for 3 days. They made dad's passing easier. We appreciated it. Nice and clean for the most part. Professional staff.

Mom has been in Memory Care close to two years. Her life there has been good with her dementia. The staff looks out for her and she feels like they are her family. They also treat me very professionally and with similar kindness.

Brookdale Sugarland marketing staff, induction staff, office staff and nursing staff from day one showed high levels of empathy, patience and care to get to know my 101 plus year old grandmother. It was important that her new surroundings could mirror her home and her pets were very welcome. My grandmother loves to repeat funny stories to my sister who lives nearby on the happenings with other residents and enjoys freedom to move around facility as her home. She has gained 15lbs since arriving.

My Dad lived at Brookdale in Sugar Land for almost 3 years. He was very happy there and enjoyed all the activities. The staff were always patient, respectful and helpful. This was especially important when he started to decline and needed more help than ever before. We are thankful for the care my Dad was given while at Brookdale Sugar Land.

My mom moved in 4 weeks ago. I was very stressed and worried about how she would adjust. Shes doing amazing and its all because of the entire staff. From those who help her get dressed to the friendly kitchen staff and the office administration who is always on top of things, we love it there!! She has to eat GF and her meals are delicious! Our family couldnt be happier with her at Brookdale!

My brother and his wife are the wise people who found this jewel of a retirement community for my mother, and I am very glad they did! The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the sense of "home" rather than "institution". The amenities are numerous. And don't even get me started on the food. These residents DINE (don't just eat). The daily activities are numerous and of high quality. The Executive Director is kind, perceptive, and runs a tight ship. The staff are very caring people. Brookdale Sugar Land is not a large residence, so if you want in, or want your loved one in, DON'T WAIT TOO LONG.

While I was in the process of helping my loved one move to this community, I unfortunately faced some issues with the staff team. The first two weeks that we were there, they did not do what they said that they were going to do even though I was paying for the service and care. No one was helping with any kind of assistance. After those two weeks, I had to complain to one of the team members and let them know what was happening and what we were facing. The lady I had spoken to said I apologize and we need to do better. I really did appreciate this apology and they did improve. They even adjusted the billing, so eventually we got it all together. Aside from this little mishap, I would definitely still recommend this community to others. The only thing I would have to say is that you may want to stay on top of things. I call in and I also visit my loved one when I need to just to make sure that she is ok. The cleaning staff has helped her with her laundry and come in to vacuum. They keep the facility clean. My loved one likes the food, she feels comfortable, and the medical team takes good care of my loved ones medicine which was really important.
