I have a family member at Spring Creek Village Assisted Living, and I have been consistently impressed with the facility. The community is always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. It's clear that a great deal of pride and care goes into keeping the environment safe, comfortable, and pleasant for the residents. A special recognition goes to David Parish. His dedication is evident in every aspect of the facility. He is always working to ensure that the property is clean, secure, and operating at a high standard. It truly feels like he cares about both the residents and the overall quality of the community. Knowing that my family member is in a place where attention to detail and resident well-being are priorities gives me tremendous peace of mind. I would highly recommend Spring Creek Village to anyone looking for an assisted living community that genuinely cares about its residents.

I came to rave about how excellent Mark is as the Activities Director. He does a great job creating activities that keep residents engaged and involved while helping foster a sense of community. Mark is dependable, approachable, and always willing to help wherever needed. His efforts make a difference in the lives of the residents and contribute to the positive atmosphere every day. They are fortunate to have him working in this community! Jillian is also a wonderful asset to the team as well, she always has a positive and engaging attitude when working with the Memory care residents! Both are wonderful!!!

We placed my MIL at Spring Creek Village a week ago and it’s been a wonderful experience. Starting with Lea Phillips who was our first contact when we visited. She is a very caring person and so knowledgeable about all areas of the facility. The caretakers in memory care are very loving and welcoming. They truly care about making my MIL feel welcomed and at home. I highly recommend Spring Creek Village. We can rest easy now knowing our loved one is safe and cared for.

February 2026
Caveat emptor is a famous Latin phrase meaning, “Buyer Beware.” In modern language, it might be loosely translated as, “If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.” One year ago, in January, we were told that my wife might need “Assisted Care” and began looking. We expected to go onto a waiting list and were totally surprised when Spring Creek Village Assisted Living had a wonderful room available and talked with them on either the 30th or 31st. Since we needed to sell our house and make other arrangements, we were ready to wait, even though we were interested. Their Sales Representative, not the current team, made us an offer that was perfect. They had a sales quota for January and were one unit short. It was important to them to make their quota and if we would go ahead and sign up in January, they would give us a free month to compensate us, to make us financially whole. Sounds too good to be true? Everyone wins and there are no losers! Caveat emptor! They charged me full rent and fees for February, and when I asked, they said that they were not aware of our agreement. Finally, they said that the best they could do was half off in February and the other half six months later in July. Not my original understanding, but I expected to be there a lot longer, so it was “okay.” In July, the second “half” discount was smaller than the first half. I know a little about math and a little about the English language and began to ask questions. The answer: “We said that the RENT would be refunded, but we do not refund the different fees, such as medical care, etc.” The amount under discussion was $1, 770.42! Even though we continued to discuss it, they would not budge. There were a number of other issues that I can document with emails, some VERY SIGNIFICANT according to the state Ombudsman and the state Health and Human Services, but the bottom line was that when they announced a 7.2%(!) rent increase for this year, we began looking and moved out at then end of January. We now have 1,400 ft2, instead of 800(!), a full kitchen with stove, fridge and dishwasher, a garage and a second fridge, and a private yard and instead of paying over $7,200, we are paying $509.60 plus $3,372.00 for the coming month’s rent. Note: This is because they deducted the 13 days of health care when Lorrie was in the hospital! (Good luck getting that from Spring Creek Assisted Living…) Even if they had charged us for those days, we still would have saved over $2,000 and we are happier than we have been in a long time. We are still disputing with Spring Creek Village over the fees of $1,770.42 and I am looking for legal remedies at this time including Texas’ Health and Human Services. Jennifer Keely the manager, has been very helpful on many things, but she says that this is a corporate policy matter and she is “helpless” to get anything done. IF ONLY WE HAD THE ORIGAL DEAL IN WRITING… I Wish! But even logic is not getting me anywhere: “Would I have deliberately and knowingly signed a contract in January, 2025, for a room we were not ready for, obligating me to $1,800 for services we would never receive, JUST TO HELP SPRING CREEK VILLAGE MEET A SALES QUOTA?” When I look at the above sentence, it makes me sound like either a great saint needing beatification by Rome or a blithering idiot. The Bottom Line is that if Spring Creek Village offers you any special deals to coerce you into signing with them, I strongly encourage you to get written copies signed by at least two members of the management team and to keep them handy. By the way – I failed to give credit earlier, but even with all of the complaints that I raise, there are some really fine people working there and some fantastic residents to enjoy. By the way - As I post this, the last review on the page is August, 2024... It has been a while and my earlier review did not come up. E.B. Beasley, Jr.

My mom struggled, struggled moving in. It was a huge change, she was diagnosed with dementia, she didn't understand why she had to move and when it was explained she would forget. The team has never given up on her. Always willing to meet and talk through her care, not rigid but very flexible in coming up with a plan for her, always communicating. Taking care of a resident like her takes patience. This team has it. And most of all they treat her with love. I am a bit jealous she has Mark Kennedy as her activities director. I wish I had as much opportunity for fun trips, activities, concerts, happy hours etc. if it wasn't for his personal touch, going out of the way to constantly invite her, even when she was sad and confused I don't think she would have acclimated. He was a huge part of the success in her move in. As their children, you have to advocate for your parents, Mark and Jennifer are on your team. Just communicate often and they are there to listen and put plans in action.
January 2026
I have been living at Spring Creek Village for almost a year and we are moving out at the end of January! The promises were wonderful when we were shopping, but the reality has been disappointing and worse. Service has been poor, meals are boring and there is little follow through on promises. They have over medicated my wife, lost some of her medicine and the red "emergency" button in the room did not work when we needed an ambulance. It is now reported that an employee was asked to repair the button in one resident's room and said that since there was a button in the bath and one in the bedroom, he did not need to repair the broken one. And, yes, the manager has heard about each of these and the problems remain. Beautiful facilities, some really nice staff and it looks fantastic, but I am truly excited about our move in a few weeks and have high hopes about improving our circumstances. AND, we are saving over $1,000 a month!
January 2026
I want to mention Mark Kennedy director of memory care. There is not many people these days that are passionate and care about their patients. It’s a breath of fresh air to see someone at his level that still cares for their patients as if they just started in the field. If any one of my friends and family need a place to place their loved ones I will definitely recommend Spring Creek Village because I know that they will be well taken care of .
January 2026
My family’s experience with Spring Creek Assisted Living was mixed. On the positive side, my mom had a safe, comfortable space during the short time she was there. The food was good, and most of the daytime staff were kind and respectful to our family. We appreciated those individuals who showed care during an incredibly difficult period. However, there were significant issues that overshadowed these positives. Overnight staff repeatedly refused to assist our 24-hour hospice nurses with basic care needs such as turning my mom and helping keep her clean. This was especially concerning given her condition and the fact that hospice staff were present and asking for support. The most distressing issue came after my mom passed away. While she was alive, we fully paid the agreed-upon rate without dispute even though my mom was on 24-hour hospice care. However, after her death”despite the fact that she had lived at Spring Creek for only eight days and was on 24-hour hospice care the entire time”we were still required to pay an additional full 30 days of rent, including room and board and a full level-of-care fee. This was demanded even though the facility no longer provided”and in many cases never had to provide”care, medication administration, or meals. Of course this was outlined in the contracts I had signed while under duress and in crisis. During our immediate period of grief, administration was unwilling to have a compassionate or reasonable conversation about this. Instead, we were met with rigid demands and threats of late fees if payment was not made. At a time when we were mourning, this approach felt deeply lacking in empathy and left us feeling taken advantage of. While Spring Creek may be a good fit for some families, I would strongly encourage others”especially those considering short-term or hospice-related stays”to ask very detailed questions about overnight staffing support and financial policies after a resident’s death.

Spring Creek Village is an exceptional senior living community where residents are truly supported through every stage of aging. I’ve had a wonderful experience partnering with their team, and working with Mark Kennedy has been an absolute pleasure. He is professional, compassionate, and deeply committed to ensuring residents and families feel supported. What truly sets Spring Creek Village apart is their dedication to helping residents age in place with dignity, continuity of care, and compassion. Communication is seamless, collaboration is strong, and the resident-centered approach is evident in everything they do. I highly recommend Spring Creek Village.

My family member currently lives at Spring Creek Village, and our experience has been excellent! The community is always clean, welcoming, and has a warm atmosphere. The staff are kind and caring. Management communicates well and makes me feel confident that my loved one is safe and receiving the care they need. The activities, dining, and overall environment show a true commitment to quality of life. I’m very grateful for everyone”Spring Creek Village has been a wonderful place for my Grandmother.

Mark and Alesha are the best. My mother is in the memory care unit and they make sure she is taken care of and notify me of when she needs things and updates me on all the fun activities she attends with pictures! My mom is well taken care of here.

We have been very pleased with Spring Creek Village, where my sister-in-law is now living in the assisted living/memory care section. The entire staff has been very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are easy to furnish, and just the right size for her needs. We like the common areas she has access to in her wheelchair, and the variety of activities.
June 2025
Always peaceful, friendly staff, everyone is helpful and sweet. Place is clean, lots of areas with things to do for the residents. My fav part is they try to stop at most residents apartments to encourage them to join in activities. Dining area is nice and the food they service is nice. Nothing negative to say it’s an amazing facility/home! Activity Coordinator Lorie is the best! She has the perfect personality for engaging the residents in activities. Many outstanding care givers that know each resident and if you bump into the caregiver they pretty much know where you can find your person. Very informed helpful staff. Just so pleased with the efficiency and love the staff is so kind!
June 2025
Outstanding care and service. All employees provide excellent attention to residents.
May 2025
The staff is always pleasant and kind. They treat our Father very well. Laundry is an ongoing issue, not being done and losing clothes. The management is the most disappointing. No follow through, doesn’t return calls. Management has changed many times.
May 2025
I recently had the opportunity to tour this exceptional assisted living and memory care community, and I was thoroughly impressed by the level of thought, research, and compassion that goes into every aspect of resident care. One particular feature that stood out to me was the SOAR program for their Park Side residents - rather than using the traditional term "memory care," Spring Creek Village uses the term Park Side - a subtle but powerful reflection of the dignity and respect they offer to each resident. Every detail is intentional, from the purposeful activities like gardening, to something as specific as the color of the plates used during meals”each decision grounded in research designed to enhance quality of life. During my latest visit, I had the chance to take part in their Dementia Live experience, and it was eye-opening. As someone who works with many families navigating dementia, this experience was both emotional and enlightening. What’s even more impactful is that every staff member goes through this same training. Knowing that the personnel caring for your loved ones have walked”however briefly”in their shoes is deeply reassuring. This community is beautiful in every sense of the word. I highly encourage anyone considering assisted living or memory support for a loved one to schedule a tour. You’ll immediately see the dedication, education, and heart that sets this place apart!
May 2025
We moved my Mom from another AL facility due to neglect. My daughter and I toured on Wednesday, brought my Mom for a tour Thursday and moved my Mom in on Friday. She loves the many social activities! The entire staff has been beyond helpful! The response to Mom's call button is 2 - 8 minutes. The residents are friendly and my Mom has made many friends. My Mom truly feels like she is home. I would give SCV 10 stars if possible
May 2025
I recently did a bad review on here and I want to say that within 5 minutes of posting it I got a call from Anna Calendar whom is over operations. The love and compassion she showed me was more than words can describe. I know now that Spring Creek will look into my concerns and will only be better because of it. I could tell from talking to Anna that she truly cared and wanted to make sure everyone's experience was nothing but the best. I appreciate her calling me and speaking with me about everything.

The warmth and feel of community is experienced as soon as you walk through the doors. Spring Creek Village has such inviting spaces at every turn, the dining room is welcoming, such a beautiful place to share a lovely meal with family and friends, so many friendly conversations between residents were being had. The residents rooms were my favorite part, light, bright, clean, and the perfect amount of space for all of your needs, a beautiful space to relax and enjoy. Maclaye Mabe gave me the nicest tour of the community and has been so kind and welcoming since our first meeting and it truly is a pleasure to get to work with her and her team at this stunning community. I cannot say enough nice things about Spring Creek Village, the residents and the amazing team that support them.
March 2025
Had an amazing visit where Maclaye Mabe gave me a fantastic tour and introduced me to Mark Kennedy, who runs the incredible SOAR program for Memory Care. I was truly impressed by the program, the dedicated staff, and the level of care they provide. The entire experience was outstanding. Highly recommend!

Spring Creek Village offers the best in assisted living. It’s clean, nicely decorated, happy and fun! The food offerings are plentiful and good. Most importantly the staff genuinely cares for the well-being of each resident. They are warm, friendly, happy, honest, extremely attentive with a strong work ethic, professional and respectful. Lee has a caring heart and a beautiful smile that brightens each day. We are so thankful for her! Lee and all the other staff members go out of their way to welcome and integrate new residents. They strive to keep everyone healthy, happy and safe. There are fun activities to enjoy every day. Spring Creek Village is a wonderful place to call home. It is well managed with high quality, professional staff that nurture and care for residents like they are family.

It is just such a joy to be here. Everybody is so wonderful and kind and efficient and they just make it a joy. They have so many nice activities far as the food is excellent and they keep our rooms spotless, and they made us with a smile.
February 2025
My dad has been in memory care here for just two months but I currently have nothing but good things to say about our experience. Linda became a friend in helping us get dad signed up. Every single staff member has been so sweet and personable. They really do make the residents feel like family. I have had a lot of concerns as dad can be difficult due to his illness but they’ve always eased my worries and communicate back to me quickly. I am very grateful that this place is such a blessing to our family. Ps. Not for nothing, they throw amazing parties and celebrations. Very grateful. UPDATE: It has now been almost 2 years since Dad has been living at Spring Creek Village. I can't say enough good things about the staff and the care and patience I see when I visit unannounced. I'm a high maintenance family member (I am!), and they are always very patient and caring with me and my questions or concerns. I don't know where we'd be if I hadn't found SCV. UPDATE 2. 2025 - My father recently passed away. I am eternally grateful to the staff at Spring Creek Village. Dad was there for nearly four years. So many people to thank through the years there, but sadly, some of them have gone on to other places. (I see you Wendy, Linda and Nurse Jaquie.) For the last few years, my constant source of comfort was the Memory Care Director, Mark Kennedy and one of the caregivers, the beautiful and kindhearted, Chez. Not only did they both help me with getting Dad's things out of his room after he passed, but they went above and beyond to help get the whole room cleaned out and donated anything left to charity or to be able to give to the other residents. I don't live in Houston so having close contact with the team was critical for me. I did visit every 4 or 5 weeks, but I was a high maintenance client, I am sure, because I always wanted to know Dad's updates. It has been an emotionally difficult journey, from start to finish, but I don't know where we would have been now if it weren't for my friends (who have become like family) at SCV. I still follow their social media streams because I've come to care about the other residents and the team as well and it's good to see how everyone is doing. Mark Kennedy even came to show his respects at Dad's memorial service. Out of all the people that spoke that day, I didn't actually tear up until Mark spoke with me privately. My dad had a favorite chair at SCV. I know that they look over at that chair and will remember my dad. I owe SCV so much gratitude.

I went on a tour yesterday and from the moment i walked in until I left every staff member we met were top notch. Kortney and Kaitlan were very attentive and sat with me for over an hour to listen and answer all of my questions. I felt understood on my concernans. I was never rushed, and it never felt like a sell. The community is beautiful! Has a Switzerland Lodge feel that is designed well. It's definitely at the top of my list! It's very obvious how much the staff love what they do and how much they care about the residents and their families. They go above and beyond for families to feel comfortable and secure during a difficult time. Very impressed!!!

Spring Creek Village, is a beautiful place to live as residents here calls it home. I am a Private Careprovider and I go to different facilities and I see how residents are happy and treated- here I see how some employees goes above and beyond to help them. Simran at the front desk an smiling greeting face who’s residents goes to her for anything. Lorrie, the activities director she goes the extra mile to ensure residents are getting involved in daily activities. The way she treats them with love and caring is noticeable. Ariel Garca, Jaay and Lorena Medtech’s they are great to residents and really takes the time to explain and answer questions. There are great caregivers Like Miriam who gives the time to talk to the residents and goes the extra mile to help them. Great place! Respectfully Perto Herrera

Great facility. The staff really cares about the residents. Our Dad loves it and enjoys the activities too. Thank you all for making this a home.
July 2024
After visiting 3 other facilities we chose SCV because of the customer service, variety of scheduled events and the rooms felt like home. SCV became my parent's home for over 3 years. They enjoyed the bingo, prayer groups, rehab, restaurants with shuttle service, crafting and special performances from singers during happy hour. The staff took care of them as if they were their own family. The staff has always showed respect, love and care. They really made an effort, going above and beyond to assist and help them during difficult times. Even though some staff left SCV, they still kept in touch with my parents. Please keep in mind, not every place will be perfect. The food is fine, but not the greatest. However, they have a variety of menu items available daily, even offering other items. There have been times when staff is low, but they always get to you. The management staff is superb. A lot of them will assist residents if additional support is required. Kaitlyn (manager) is amazing, super sweet and she listens to any concerns and follows through with your requests. Her leadership radiates and each one of her staff works with the same enthusiasm to serve the residents. When my parents passed, the staff reached out to me, coming into the room, sharing their memories and we all cried together. Their kind words really affected me and the family. I will never forget how much love was shown and shared. This place will always be my extended family. Yes, I would highly recommended SCV.

My experience with SCV as a family memeber of a resident was quite positive and I would recommend it. It is a beautiful place with a warm and caring staff. When my loved one needed assistance, the staff responded in a timely manner. There were plenty of activities, entertainment and the food was good.

Spring Creek Village Retirement Community is a wonderful establishment, staff and management are attentive to all residents needs. When you walk through the doors there's smiles on everyone's faces. ( Come see for yourselves.) The cuisine is delicious there's plenty of activities onsite and off-site outings weekly. I've toured many other facilities throughout Houston this by far takes the cake. I know mom and dad are going to love it.

I love this facility and have recommended it to several friends. Jackie is probably the sweetest, and hardest working nurse I have ever run into.

I am so grateful for the team at Spring Creek Village Memory Care. They were alway so supportive of us and caring during this journey. We quickly felt like we were part of a big family and they helped us learn the ropes about what was going on and what was to come. I would highly recommend Spring Creek Village Memory Care for any family member suffering from dementia and/or Alzheimers. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimers and was with them for a year before she passed. I could not have cared for her without help!

I moved my parents into Spring Creek Village Assisted Living in December, and we all just couldn't be happier. Linda Chihuahua-Kanney was so helpful in working through the contract, finding the perfect apartment where my parents could be together with their little dog, and setting up moving day. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and are keeping the residents safe in the midst of this pandemic. My parents are having the time of their lives playing bingo every day and doing all the fun things Miss Tammy plans. The dining room is lovely and the meals are nutritious and delicious. My family highly recommends Spring Creek Village.
