This is a sad time for me as my brother just passed from cancer while living at Avante. But I have nothing but affection and praise for the care he was given. The facility is nice. In fact it is VERY nice. Beautifully laid out and decorated. But what really stood out for my brother were the people who cared for him. Somehow the facility fosters a culture of competence, warmth and caring that is truly unusual. I was a CEO of a health care company serving seniors for 25 years and had a chance to see it all in hospitals, nursing homes, home health and therapy. I am truly impressed with the front line people who provide health care generally. But the people and care at Avante were well above average and made all the difference for my brother. How do you tell the difference? Small things and large things. Listen to how they answer the phone or greet you when you come in the door. Notice how they acknowledge you when you pass them in the hallway. Watch how they interact with your love ones. Notice the pride when they are doing their jobs. Listen to how they answer your questions and explain how they are caring for your loved one. Notice how closely they follow their care schedule. Listen to their suggestions for extra things to do. Look into their eyes for their sincerity. No doubt, much of this culture is due to the leadership of the facility in hiring, fostering and rewarding good behaviors. I have a deep personal appreciation for what they have done for my brother. I want to sincerely thank all who were involved.

I would like to thank Valerie Colon and all the staff at Avanti Senior Living at Vision Park for the amazing care they provided to my mother. It takes qualified people to provide care for patients with that terrible disease, dementia. Avanti Senior Living was a great place for my mother to call home for 5 years. Avanti is a very beautiful, modern buidling with an amazing staff. The were very accomdating to all of our requests and needs and were very patient and sensitive to all our apprehensions to help us adjust during this very sensitive life change. Can't say enough about everyone from Valerie to the Michelle and the entire nusing staff. They took great care of my mother for the short time she was there, and we will be looking to them again when it comes time for my Dad to require assisted living.

My mother spent her final year of life as a Resident of Avanti. She was in the Assisted Living as well as the Memory Care wings. The care and attention she received was exemplary. The entire staff were always responsive to her needs and my questions or concerns. I have been a resident at Avanti Spring Community since September 2021. This facility is spacious, beautiful & comfortable. I found the staff welcoming and helpful. I felt at home after I moved in my things from Louisiana The staff introduced me to the dining room personnel in each department and found them helpful and friendly. This was the perfect site for me to exist happily. I could teach arts & crafts,cook, sew, call bingo, help where Help is needed. Help fellow residents (family) smile. This is Home!!

I highly recommend Avanti Senior Living. My parents have been there for over a year. The facility is run very well. The care givers and staff are dedicated to making sure my parents are safe, comfortable, well fed, and happy. The medical support staff are on top of any medical issues. The activities and exercise classes are fun and appropriate. The cleaning and laundry are top notch. The beauticians at the salon do a wonderful job. Everyone working at Avanti takes the time to make my parents feel respected and loved. Everyone at Avanti feels like family. We are blessed to have my parents there.

This is the first time I have ever written a review of any sort on the Internet. However, my experience with the people at Avanti Vision Park was so extraordinary that I felt compelled to share me experience. My mother-in-law was 90 years old and would have turned 91 on August 23. She had been living on her own in the country for the last 26 years. Her health started rapidly declining so we felt like it was a matter of time where she could not live alone. We started looking for assisted living facilities in the Woodlands area. It seemed that several of the websites we checked and people in that world of caring for the elderly kept telling us we should check out Avanti Assisted Living in the Woodlands. I contacted them and spoke with Wendy and she recommended we come for an in person meeting and tour. My daughter and I met with Wendy and she did a great job of giving us a tour and explaining in detail what they offered for my mother -in law. You could tell Wendy really cared about the residents and her relationship with them. During that tour we also met Valerie who was in charge of the overall operation at that location. Valerie told us she had been a Registered Nurse and had been involved in caring for the elderly for a while. She was a very compassionate person and gave the impression of total competence in overseeing this location. Valerie and Wendy made a very good complimentary team. To keep things somewhat shorter I will not go into all the details but we got a room for my Mother-in-law even though she was in the hospital at that time. Over the next 3 weeks my Mother-in-law was in and out of different hospitals . Through all this I kept in touch with Valerie and Wendy and explained the situation. They both were very patient and helpful during this very stressful time. Unfortunately even though we had a room for over 3 weeks at Avanti my Mother-in-laws health declined so rapidly that she had to go into Hospice care and was never able to move into Avanti. She passed away on August 12. I will be eternally grateful to Valerie and her steady hand and patience in helping us navigate this very stressful time. Wendy was also also a great source of help and encouragement during this time. Without hesitation I would recommend this facility 100% if you have an elderly loved one and are looking for an Assisted Living Facility. Give Wendy a call and schedule a meeting and tour. You will be very glad you did.

Avanti at Vision Park has an amazing staff, very professional, kind and respectful. I have had to put both my parents there, one in assisted living and the other in memory care. Covid 2020 was a bit of a struggle but 2021 has been a delight. Theyre always on top of any health issues that come up and keep them engaged with many activities. I feel very confident to know that both my parents are safe and well cared for. Its been a great relief for myself and family.

It is so much fun to visit different living environments for seniors. To date, I have visited over 450 privately run retirement communities, in different parts of the world, and Avanti Senior Living at Vision Park is the first that I have seen with textured railings, to offer an added sensory feel in their memory care, as well as offering a kids menu! Lovely attention to details that affects daily living. I give 5 stars though I remain neutral towards ‘awarding stars to all and any retirement living options as each and every address has its own character and offerings that fulfill different needs. Each address and outfit attracts different people and creates its own culture. It is all about finding an: environment, culture, support and living space, that feels right when you research different options, and only the gut knows what that right fit is when you visit for you or a loved one. My Parents have been at Avanti for over a year. During our search, we realized that the food and environment are two of the most important aspects when choosing an assisted living facility for my parents. They have been pleased to experience outstanding care partners, food and surroundings. An emphasis on wellness is apparent in the facility and the activities have been enjoyable - even going the extra mile with things like a Casino night and Art show. My parents have enjoyed the happy hour with wine almost daily! Another reason we chose Avanti is the memory care unit, Salize. My mother recently needed to transition there full time and is doing well. Staff in Salize seen to truly enjoy their challenging jobs and care for the residents with smiles on their face. Highly recommend!

I ordered my dinner at Happy hour before 5 pm which was a French dip sandwich. At 6pm I was still waiting for my order and finally left the dining room. It was delivered to my room shortly thereafter except it had raw onions and cool dressing. We need more help and a wait staff.

My aunt’s stay is going great! The place is clean and welcoming and the staff is very attentive to her needs. She enjoys all of the classes and takes as many classes as she can! She loves socializing with the other residents which is a big deal for her. I love to visit and see her in her environment.

One of the best things about Avanti, besides the staff and residents, is the extracurricular activities. Social outings, art classes, exercise classes, movie nights, and family get-togethers make Avanti stand apart from other assisted living places. The rooms and suites are exceptional, the restaurant serves fresh food made to order, and the amenities are the best!

The leadership team, the care partners, culinary team and office staff take responsibility and accountability far beyond their "job description". My mom has Alzheimer's and with another fall, a stay at the hospital, then rehab, Dad and I were at a loss of what was next and how to deal with something we knew was inevitable and so difficult for us as a very close family. I visited 7 places in 2 days and my last visit, after I was losing hope and feeling desperate and heartbroken, I walked into Avanti. It was the weekend before Thanksgiving and we had to make a quick decision, but a very BIG decision for my mom. Abby greeted us and took us on a thorough tour. I was listening, but also was worried since it was so beautiful, that it would be very expensive. She greeted all of the residents with a hug and by name and in some cases said she loved them. I was in a "good" state of shock and started feeling some hope that we may have found the right place. I went back to dad at the rehab center and said "I found it". Just then, we had a phone call through the rehab center and it was Abby inviting us back to their Thanksgiving celebration meal on that very same day. We went and met everyone on their caring and brilliant staff, even the chef, who had cooked up a delicious meal for their residents and family members to enjoy Thanksgiving together. Its' officially been 2 weeks since mom arrived there her first night, and my dad and I are extremely happy and pleased with the attention, the staff, the activities, the communication, the care and the environment my mom (and his wife of 60 years) is living. It's an adjustment and a new normal for us but we can sleep at night knowing mom is in a safe place surrounded with good people who truly care. I want to thank each of the staff at Avanti for helping us, so quickly, find the best place for Nelda, whom we love so dearly.

I visited the community over the weekend for the Halloween event, we are new to the area and I was looking for a safe place to take my children for a fun activity. Little did I know I was visiting an assisted living community! I was blown away with how beautiful the place was and how their residents were so HAPPY! This is NOT a typical "old folks home". I wanted to get a room!! I will attend all of their events and I would recommend this place to anyone looking. I do not have a family member looking now, but when I do, THIS is where I will go!
