We recently toured this facility as we ponder moving our mom out of her current facility. So far this place is a stand out. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The private rooms, dining room and activity rooms were all very nice. Many facilities we visited are rehab-patient focused, but this one is clearly focused on long-term residents and maintaining a clean, stable and comfortable residence. Very impressed!

Waterford offers my mother in law the perfect balance of independence she desires and the dependance she needs. There are multiple options to tailor your needs. The staff is caring and efficient, professional and personal. The facility offers many different types of activities for a variety of interests and capabilities. My husband and I are grateful to have found such a place for his mom!

I know that my father, who is a resident at the Waterford at Westover Hills, is well taken care of there. The medical staff are very attentive to his care. He doesn’t need much assistance but they pay attention to any issues that might be of concern. I am grateful for all the staff. They treat my father with dignity and respect. They are friendly, compassionate and caring. I can’t thank them enough for all they do.

I am a hospice RN making multiple visits daily, so I see many facilities up close. The Waterford Memory care unit is exceptional! The staff is so involved and present with the residents, the educational training shines through in their interactions with cognitively challenged residents, yet is so warm and respectful. There are so many staff members everywhere!! So wonderful to see an administration that truly sets the bar so high for excellence.

I am a vendor for hospice and went to see a patient here. The place is beautiful and most of the staff is very helpful except the med lady who was on duty at the time. I did not appreciate her the way she spoke about my patient. A little empathy and compassion goes a long way with people and this particular lady didn't have either.

I love the Waterford!! I moved my dad into memory care and could tell the love that the staff has for the residents immediately. They are very receptive to any feedback. I had a situation the first week my dad was there and it was taken care of immediately after talking to the Executive Director and the Wellness Director. Again they are truly all about the residents and their well being. I saw it clearly after having my dad at a place where management didn't see that as a priority, although their mission statement said it did. At the Waterford at Westover Hills memory care, your loved one is truly loved and cared for. Remember no place is perfect but, they sure come close for my dad and I. Keep up the good work!!! Please pass on to staff the great job they're doing!!

Update: My mother has been a resident at The Waterford for almost 2 years now and still loves it. All the staff knows her and interacts with her a lot. Christina and Ashley, the activities directors, are the best and you can tell they enjoy spending time with the residents. We love them and all of the caregivers! My mother has only been a resident for 5 weeks but we all, to include my mom, already love The June. The rooms are so spacious and nice. The staff is very friendly and caring and immediately welcomed my mom to the group. I feel blessed, knowing that my mother is happy and well taken care of. We are thrilled with the activities that are scheduled and Mother looks forward to them daily. I highly recommend The June for anyone looking for a memory care facility for their loved one.

Facility is nice, and clean and well kept. The staff is so kind, and helpful. More so after the new ownership as many new updates have been done. It was one of the least expensive for us that we looked at. Put 4 star as it was so out of the way for us, in distance.

My dad has been a resident since May 2024. He refuses to eat the food. I thought he was being picky, but throughout my visits, I have heard two other residents (strangers to me) complain about the food. I tried it once and was not impressed (think a slice of white bread straight from a bread bag and stew) I think management should try it regularly. The rooms have the same type of window units that you would expect at a Holiday Inn. They cool, but do not remove the humidity (the room ranges from 60-80% humidity). I have brought this to the attention of the management no less than 5 times. I was told that Comfort Air would be contacted and it would be addressed. Nothing has happened. Recently, my dad fell. The med tech called and told me what happened. I was grateful for this communication. The next day, I was unable to reach my dad via phone. I called the Waterford and left 2 messages requesting a call back. No response. I searched online to see if I could find another number. When calling this number, I reached another med tech who was able to share with me that dad was okay. He was polite and knowledgeable about my dad. I shared with him that I needed to speak to one of the directors about my dad's health and how his current level of care needed to be discussed. It is now two days later, I have left two more messages, and have still not received a response. At this time, I am rating it 2 stars because the staff members are sweet to my dad. I just cannot recommend this facility at this time due to the lack of communication and the quality of food/air conditioning.

My daughter, Jean has been a resident at the June for 9 months. She's the happiest she's ever been. The facility is beautiful, well maintained. The staff is wonderful, so very helpfull.Jean loves the staff, and the other residents; she also enjoys all the amenities - the games they play, the outings, the good meals that are served every day. And of course our family is so grateful for the care she receives. I would recommend The June to anyone needing to find help for a loved one. My family and I are so grateful for the time my dad spent at The June. We had to move him to a memory care facility and we were blessed to have picked The June. Moving him was a very difficult decision but the staff made us feel like we could trust him to their care and we were right. They were responsive to all our concerns and so very patient with our dad. The caregivers are loving, kind and helpful professionals and very dedicated to their residents. He passed away and the caregivers were as deeply saddened as we were. The June is a wonderful place. I moved my dad in Sept, 2021. The first place I moved him was not good. So I found the June and my dad really likes living there. The staff are so kind and go out of there way to help . His birthday was this week and they made him a cake . I was thrilled about that and so was he. I live out of state and it so important that my dad is taken care of. The ED even brought him a bowl of Gumbo she made herself. I am very grateful! Karen Richard

This is a fantastic facility! I highly recommend The June for the senior adult in your family. Carrie Ann and the rest of the crew go above and beyond in keeping the residents comfortable, connected, and safe! I was amazed at how much effort they put into getting to know our family. We also have made several unusual requests on behalf of my Mom, and the staff at The June continues to amaze us with both their kindness, and willingness to accommodate those requests!

The June has been such a blessing to my family. Making the decision to take my grandfather from a home he’s lived in for over 60 years, and put him into an assisted living facility was not an easy decision. The people at The June made that decision so much easier. Carrie Ann and Sherrie have been so patient and helpful to ease the transition for my grandfather. They both went out of their way to better assist me and my family and answer any questions we had as well as make my grandfather more comfortable with moving into a new home. I could not recommend this place enough. The entire staff has been so kind and helpful. My grandfather is really enjoying it there as well and has become fond of the staff.

When needing to find a place for my mom in law whose Alzheimer’s symptoms were rapidly becoming difficult for her to continue living by herself, Carrie Ann reached out to me to offer The June as a solution. My husband visited other places that were nice and new as well, but they didn’t feel like family the way the staff at the June did. They saw how anxious my mother-in-law felt, and they went above and beyond to comfort her. The place is like a beautiful hotel, so quiet and inviting, but the staff like Jamey, Carrie Ann, Noe, Yolanda, and so many more who I’ve not met but are eager to meet are why my husband and I finally have peace of mind about making this decision to find the kind of help that The June’s Memory Care facility offers my mother-in-law. We highly recommend it for your loved ones.

The entire staff at The June senior living has been extremely helpful in making my Mother transition into her new home. We strongly recommend The June and are very grateful to know that Mom is in good hands. I love that they go the extra mile and take care of things ASAP. The food is great, the facility is super clean and the nurses are friendly and knowledgeable. My Mom is enjoying her in-house physical therapy and is already showing progress in just one week. We couldn’t have chosen a better place. Look no further!
