I dropped br the nursing facility at the Patriot Heghts grounds to visit a resident. The grounds are beautiful and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive. Ver nice.

I am writing for my husband, Edd. He was very pleased with all the people and the service he got while there on respite. He said all the workers there were so caring and kind. I met with Jessica in Adm to complete all the paperwork - she was so professional and had a happy attitude! I met Edd's nurse, Jasmine who was such a joy to be around. She was so organized and made Edd feel right at home. Edd said he wants to go to Patriot Heights again in a few months. As his wife and caregiver, it made me feel good that he was treated so well! Thanks to all of you that took care of Edd! God bless you all.

Patriot Heights is awesome everyone is very welcoming and attentive to their jobs. The nurses are always helpful the managers are the best they're always checking to see how we can improve for the patients. Juan Garcia ,the dietary director, is the best he always has a smile on his face and making sure the food is just right for every patient. I highly recommend that you bring your loved ones here to live and or rehabilitate themselves they're wonderful patients here so they'll never be alone.

This place knocked my socks off!!! This is at the end of a long private drive… The location is very private and secluded. With a gate guard!! The drive in is beautiful. This community reminds me of older military housing… Beautiful Large oak trees. Lots of housing of different kinds. The Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center is small and quaint. It is all the way in the back… Everyone was so welcoming. Very small facility. The location is quiet and serene. Beautifully maintained area. All the employees are friendly, professional and personable. They have private and semi private rooms for your loved ones.

My name is Kendrick Turner and I am a resident at Patriot heights Independent living and San Antonio Texas I got here on Saturday night move right on in this place is such a great place the staff member is so wonderful I was in contact with Miss Heidi a place for moms The place for Mom put me in the contact of Miss Heidi she gave me the best treatment that I ever wanted again I must say I done been to other places I have not seen nothing just like it I have a wonderful place she picked it out for me she showed me the pictures in the video that I knew I had to move here and I'm telling you all if you want a nice place to come and live this is the place to come when you arrive on the premises you can be greeted by the security the security is going to give you the best treatment they are the first people you going to see and you going to see the young lady that runs this place she is great the maintenance staff the kitchen the young people the physical therapy is all here I'm telling you first hand this is the place to come because you will be treated with nothing but respect I give this place five stars this place is so big I'm going to get me a golf cart to drive around here have a problem with my walking they gave me a walking stick cuz I lost mine on the train and the security came so fast so quick to get me up off the ground so I am so glad that I found this place so I know this is long I had to tell you about my experience it is the best it is so wonderful you have fallen in love like I did I'm going to make this place my home I understand this place at all I have been looking for a wonderful community and all through my searching I found the right community I've been dealing with a place for moms a long time and they got it right about me finding this I'm telling you it is the best I give them five star

I would like to first start off by saying thank you so much to everyone in this facility. Tien our social worker , helped me and my mom go through the slopes and attended to almost everything that I needed her to do including my concerns. She was very patient understanding, thorough and handled us with care .You don't experience that much often these days here it felt like it was a personalized experience. My mom got the best care along with several of the employees working there, down to physical therapy management, higher-ups, and everyone else I want to thank everyone for all they have done for us . Although this transition has not been the easiest, still walking through the family until the end is what matters the most thank you so much everyone you guys are great and never change the way you are this place definitely shows a lot of compassion and that is what is also important thank you

My Aunt Mary was in the independent living area for 14 years. She utilized the food services and rehab opportunities. The outstanding staff (administration, housekeeping, security, dining room staff, hair dresser, social activities, etc) made her very content. She often commented on how wonderful the staff were. The physical structures are due for some maintenance but overall this is an excellent facility with very caring staff.

New Updated facility. As a nurse pay attention to your assignment! The DON, and ADON do not care. They will dump everything on you and leave. They will say they will help, but it's not true. Then try to make you seem incompetent when you stick up for yourselves. Horrible professionalism, and no tact. Safety is an issue, and just had state called on then.

My uncle was admitted into Brookdale Patriot heights back in Feb.Staff was professional, attentive Rehab Team was Awsome Chritie Speech therapist Hubert PT made my uncles rehabilitation better. Lets not forget the Nurses Diana and Jorge always above and beyond their duties to make my uncles stay more pleasant. I would put my mother in a heartbeat in this facility after the great experience we had with my uncle.

Brookdale is very clean and from the cleaning ladies to the head nurse are very respectful and caring. The ladies from the therapy department go beyond there job titles and got me walking again. My nurses our outstanding Mr. Cook and Mr Alton go out there way to make me comfortable. Brookdale is by far a good place.

Patriot heights is constantly accommodating to my needs. My family doesnt live San Antonio so its difficult to have them bring me in items but patriot heights goes the extra mile and helps my family out by making sure i get what I want. They have a lovely area to seat outside and watch the birds and get sunlight. I love to play bingo and bingo they have. They have all types of prizes, I normally pick jewelry and sun hats. The past 2 years I spent at patriot heights have been great. I need continuous care and they provide it even when I give them a hard time. And the housekeepers are the best always talking to me and taking the time to listen to my concerns.

My Dad had an accident a little over a month ago and spent 3 days in the ER then was referred to a rehab, skilled nursing facility to help build up his strength before sending home. He is 93 this week. He spent a month at brookdale and was sent home yesterday. This place is staffed by people with real concern for the welfare of their patients. no place is perfect but I gotta say we were so glad we picked this place for his care. He is in better shape than he was before the accident. Dont want to sound like a fake review but we would recommend this place to anybody. These are the good guys doing what they do for the right reasons!

GREAT place for mom! Has a community feel, staff and residents are very friendly. Welcome committee run by the residents made her feel welcome right away. Food is included and very good, restaurant quality with buffets on Sundays. And she can invite her friends (or me) to eat with her for a small fee. Lots of activities and outings, beautiful grounds, deer everywhere! Hence the street name - Fawn Meadow 😉 Great peace of mind knowing my mom is well cared for and happy!

My parents lived at Patriot Heights in 2010 for a few months, and loved it. (Due to unexpected health issues, they couldnt stay.). The set up is great. Patriot Heights is on a nice sized lot. One drives through a guard station. The main building has nice apartments, dining room, chapel, large central area with a baby grand, hair salon, physical therapy room, and there is a nice swimming pool outside. There are little parking areas around the building for easy access to ones apartment. There is a large grassy area behind the main building. For more independent residents, there are cottages with either garages or car ports on the property. I never went in one. The whole campus is set up well for walking, but had room for improvement (could use more pathways with shady trees in the grassy area). My parents apartment was adorable, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a fireplace, and sliding doors to an enclosed patio. Parking for me was very convenient, just outside the patio. Caregivers are the most important component in an ALF, and Patriot Heights has the best. Even though my folks didnt participate, there was a fairly active schedule of activities and outings. Everything was wonderful there!
