We went for a meals on Wheels sponsored event, Grace Notes, its a choir group for Alziemers patients that is held every Friday. The facility is kind enough to allow us to sing there. The facility appears very well maintained.

Morningside at The Meadows is a very nice facility. It has a welcoming, bright entrance, and an attentive staff. I visited as part of the entertainment for the residents. The residents and staff were lovely and our group always enjoys entertaining the residents and staff.

I am a private caregiver and my patient lives here, this place is managed very way, the atmosphere is very loving and caring, the food in the restaurant is amazing, it's like 5 star dining quality from strath and something new every day things I never tryed before. The community here knows how to keep all the residents involved and engaged in activities every day and it's wonderful here.The staff from the front office to the kitchen are great, and pleasant to see daily. The mantianence men were very nice and attentive. I am so glad I came across this place, I wake up happy to go to work.I totally recommend this place.

My parents moved into their Meadows independent living (atrium) apartment almost 2 years ago, from another city. Their (and our) experience here has exceeded our highest hopes. From the compassionate, friendly, helpful staff to the delicious meals, activities, their apartment, amenities, and welcoming residents, we could not have imagined or found a better place for them to be for this season of life! We 5 "kids" are so thankful that they are happy, safe, comfortable, busy, and have made wonderful new friends, both residents and staff. Thank you, MM! (It's definitely worth checking out for YOUR parents, too. (Or yourself!)

My husband and I have been living at the Meadows for a year and a half. What I like best about the Meadows is the sense of community that the residents and staff share. There is a genuine concern and love for everyone. The food, activities and fellowship are wonderful and enjoyed by many. This is the place to be for happy independent living. My father was at The Meadows for about 3 years. The community there embraced him with love and friendship. The staff is very caring and respectful. We could not have asked for a better environment for our father's final years. Thank you for the special care he received while living there.

Morningside Ministries at the Meadows shattered all my stereotypes of a typical retirement community! I used to think it was a place that older adults were placed at to die and wilt. However, the Meadows is just the opposite, life doesn't stop here and everyone is thriving each and every day! I love working here!

I love living here so much! Both the residents and staff members are like family to me. If you are considering retirement from the work of maintaining a home, cooking, cleaning, etc., I don't think there is any place in San Antonio that will make you feel as cared for and happy as this one. I have lived here in the atrium building for almost a year-and-a half and my apartment is wonderfully comfortable. The food, activities and transportation really are second to none and I hope to be here in this community for the rest of my life. Come and visit us!
