We used Ashley and Rosie from Comfort Keepers to help care for my dying father. Comfort Keepers (Jen - our contact) was easy to work with, responsive, explained services and helpful. Ashley and Rosie took amazing care of my father who, at the end was non-responsive. He passed away in his sleep and Ashley was not only with him, she wrote down what she saw, approximate time, and all details about his death. It is a huge comfort to know she was there, observant and cared for him. If you are looking for home help, I recommend Comfort Keepers.

The home health aide Liz (Elizabeth) that comes out to my home to care for my dad is amazing. My dad name is David and he has dementia. She is patient with him, and although he repeats himself a lot she responds again and again like it’s the first time he’s saying it. He makes her genuinely laugh so much, as well as Liz making him laugh. Having her around is like a breath of fresh air. Ever since comfort keepers sent Liz out we don’t want anyone else. Liz is amazing I can’t say it enough. Liz is a blessing, has a beautiful heart, and she’s an angel. She helps brighten my dads day and for that we are blessed.

I have been using comfort keepers services since September of 2020. I contacted a few services before deciding to go with comfort keepers to assist with my father and chose comfort keepers because of the professionalism I received over the phone when inquiring about their services, as well as the great experience I had meeting with care coordinator Teshema Manning. My father has had the pleasure of interacting with a few caregivers from comfort keepers, one that stood out above all by the name of Linda. From the first day Linda showed up to help assist with my father it was as if she had been assisting my father for months. Linda not only makes sure my father is physically well by assuring he takes his meds on time, checking his blood pressure and blood sugar daily, making sure he eats well, taking my father to appointments when I am unable to (the list can go on), she also makes sure he is well mentally. They talk, joke, play games, do puzzles, paint, cook, get out of the house now and again. Things to keep my fathers mind from wondering, which I think is great! There has only been a couple times Linda as well as other caregivers had to call in, but Kassi is always there to make sure someone will be there to watch over my father while I am at work. I am very grateful for comfort keepers and to Linda! I could not thank them enough for what they do for me and my father.

I researched quite a few companies before I choose Comfort Keepers. My decision was a very good one and I have used Comfort Keepers since Oct 2017. They are very patient focused--this starts with inquiring about the patients needs and desires and moves through a caregiver selection process to meet and exceed those needs. Supervisory reviews are performed regularly to assess any changes in patient status and-or progress. This also includes reviewing any issues or concerns with family members on a regular basis. They also work very diligently at matching caregiver to patient behavior and demeanor. The patients likes and dislikes and noted as well as interests and activities. Caregivers care for their patients by being punctual, consistent and compassionate. Finally, the support staff are always available and helpful with last minute issues and changes in scheduling. Thankyou for providing for always being there for us and giving us comfort in our daily lives.

My mom has advanced Alzheimers disease, and we wanted to keep her at home with my father. I am a Registered Nurse, and I am incredibly picky about my moms care. Over the years, I have utilized several different reputable agencies, but just wasnt happy with the quality of the CNAs they were sending us. The turnover rate was high and we kept getting new people that didnt know my mom or her routine and I would have to spend days orienting them. I researched some different companies and met with the Comfort Keepers liaison. They listened to my concerns-issues and subsequently found us the perfect person for the job. Tara Lester is a Godsend! She is conscientious and hardworking. She has been with us for over 2 years now, and I couldnt be happier with the quality of care she provides for my mom! She consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty and is worth her weight in gold! Tina can and does work miracles!! I called her at 10 oclock in the morning asking if there was any way she could arrange to have a care giver at my friends home in a couple of hours!! Tina immediately went to the hospital to visit with my friend, in order to evaluate her needs. Within the hour, one of Comfort Keepers outstanding caregivers was waiting when my friend arrived home from the hospital. Pretty AMAZING!! Thank you Tina Lewis. You are the best!
