The place is superb. One of the nicest memory care facility in Dallas Metroplex. The staff, Administrator, Liaison, DON and Receptionist were so pleasant and very accommodating to visitors.

I have known and worked directly with Jacque and her amazing staff at Oxford Glen for the last 3 years! They truly care about their residents! Their activities department is second to none, and they always have fun activities and events going on all the time! They are a wonderful Memory Care community and a great option for those looking for a Memory Care for their loved one!

I rarely take the time to share experiences, but people want to know all the time where they can trust to place their loved one with cognitive deficits. Oxford Glen in Sachse is that place! They set themselves apart from other MCU with the “family pod style structure design ”, the specially designed meal AND snack planning, and most importantly- the caring attentive staff. They have great retention of quality caregivers and thoughtful leaders which combine to create a dignified and familial culture. I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for a new home for someone in need!

I cannot say enough about Oxford Glen it is a wonderful place to put a loved one. It's a really hard decision to make to place a loved one in someone else's care but from the first time I spoke with the director Jackie I had a very good feeling about the place. After meeting with Jackie and touring the facility I was sold but wanted all of my mother's grandchildren to see the facility and let me know how they felt about it. So I scheduled another tour with all of the kids as we were walking through everyone was smiling and saying hello and what a wonderful place it was and it wasn't just the staff but the patients and some patient's family also. Afterwards walking out to the cars the kids were saying I don't need to see anywhere else this is it. From the beginning Jackie felt like someone I had known forever and a really good friend. It is so much like a family atmosphere that when my mother got there it did not take her very long to become so comfortable that she would tell me don't worry about me you don't need to come see me everyday because they are taking really good care of me. That relieved so much stress and made me feel like I made the right choice. I would recommend Oxford Glen of Sachse Texas to anyone looking for long-term care and memory care for their loved one.

Oxford Glenn has been great for my Mom. Staff is friendly and interacting more and more with my Mom. I really like that each wing has a small amount of residents and is always clean and smells nice.

My grandpa lived here for almost a year before he passed in December.From the moment I spoke with the facility on the phone to set up a time to visit, I had hope again in finding a place he could call home where he would receive the love and care he needed. He had lived at 2 other facilities in the Sachse-Murphy area and the one he lived in right before Oxford was a complete nightmare especially when it came to medication. Oxford has an RN on staff as well as med techs to manage the meds and they did an excellent job. No issues on running out, or wrong meds, and always on time. The facility is very clean and cozy and the entire staff from the director, head maintenance, the chef, and especially those that worked closest with him on a daily basis, the caretakers, really, really cared and loved him. There were several long term employees which is very rare and was a sign of good leadership and organization within the company. Covid also made this time difficult, but the facility was very good at keeping us informed with email updates and did everything possible to ensure we still had contact with our loved ones. The facebook posts and pictures made my heart happy when I would see my grandpa enjoying the ice cream social or whatever treat they had that day. I cannot thank each of you enough for caring for him and also me. Oxford Glen was a true blessing and definitely exceeded my expectations. There are really no words to express all of my gratitude but Thank you all again!

I have been here so many times and what I observed about the staff involved with the Residents were like a family. They treat every Residents as there dear ones and give close attention and being with them so that they dont feel loneliness. They are the best staff and this place is the best place for the residents to stay.

Oxford Glen is an amazing Memory Care A.L. The building is quaint well kept and just the right size. The staff is friendly, gives great care and always looking to improve. The E.D. Jenni Knutson works long hours and cares tremendously. I would not hesitate to send anyone in need of memory care.

My mother has been at Oxford Glen for 18 months and I really couldnt be happier with this home away from home facility. She has Alzheimers but feels safe and secure and happy and has made friends too. The staff is attentive and she is always clean. In fact I was advised by several who are ahead of me in this journey, to expect for my mom to have one or more UTIs but I am very pleased to report that she has had NOT ONE UTI. A proof of stellar hygiene care for sure! They provide wonderful multiple interactive activities on a daily basis. I stop by several times a week- different days and different times-and have always found things impeccable. They also host monthly family events that allow you to spend fun time with your loved one. I could not recommend Oxford Glen Sachse more highly if you are in a place of needing to find a facility for your loved one.

My Mom moved in with me about 4 years ago, I was able to leave her at home during the day as I didnt work far from home and had good neighbors who kept an eye on her. I soon realized that she needed more stimulation and started at a day facility where we were living in the Houston area.My son and his family moved to the Sachse area and he insisted that Mom and I move too as he didnt like us driving back and forth every couple of weeks. Once I decided to make the move, I found a home and then started researching Alzheimers facilities close to my home. Well it turned out the best was not a half mile from our new home.Mom started as a day resident, but when my job starting getting me home later and later, I decided it was time to make it permanent. She liked it so much as a day person that the transition to full was easy.The staff from the maintenance to the director are awesome. Everyone always has a smile and glad to see visitors any time of the day.Activities are truly stimulating and fun for the residents and I have fun too when Im visiting.If there is an issue the nursing staff has called to let me know what happen and all is well. We did have one episode where Mom fell and they called the ambulance. When I got there two of the staff were sitting with her on the floor, once at the hospital the director, Jenni Knutson came and sat with me and then stayed with Mom and me in the emergency room for a couple of hours. To me this was a true example of the dedication the staff has for the residentshey regularly have family functions which we all attend, even my grand daughters love going to visit Great Ma! Now that is saying something!!The facility is clean and does not smell like a nursing home and I feel good and secure in knowing that my Mom is getting better care than I could give her at home.Highly recommend Oxford Glen, you wont regret your decision.

My mother is late stage 6 Alzheimers. We had been caring for her for 2 1-2 years in our home but as the disease progressed, it was getting harder and harder to care for her. I had researched several memory care communities because I am dead-set on using a nursing home and we determined Oxford Glen was the best one in our area. They keep Mom very active and they always call me when they have a question or concern or a suggestion to make things easier for her. As with most residents, she had an adjusting period but the staff were extremely patient with her as she worked through the transition from being in our home. She is very happy 99% of the time when I visit her - the 1% just comes with the territory and the disease. I cant emphasize enough just how happy I am that Mom is at Oxford Glen at Sachse. She is cared for, safe, and happy. Thats all I can ask for!
