This is an amazing community that has the perfect blend of warm personal care, beautiful spaces and involved staff all working together. I was extremely impressed by how involved the owner is, you can tell that it a truly a heart project for her and her family. They use the latest technology to keep residents safe, happy and engaged, offering personalized care and in-depth reporting for families to keep up with their loved ones' activities while they are away. Love it!

Affectionate Care is amazing. The staff is so caring. They treat your loved one as their own. The facility is beautiful, clean and neat. Be sure to check out - you won't find a better place - my loved one had been many places - this one is number one!

We moved Mom in on December 30th. She recently turned 88 and been really struggling with anxiety and depression, constant health issues and generally wanted to die. From move in day through today Mom has been in a steady U-turn. She is engaged. She dances everyday and enjoys fitness class and a wealth of age appropriate activities - this is especially important exceptional as Mom is mostly blind. Yesterday, with great pride, she told me they had family night - because they were all family. She had a small stomach bug this week (her first illness since being there) and they cared for her like a mother cares for her child. The love, personal investment and community system Affectionate Care has built is amazing, inspiring and at least for us - nothing short of a Godsend.

I attended an open house of this brand new facility. My first impression started at the front door to the lobby. I was impressed with the safety precautions which included a no-touch temperature check considering the residents' health and well-being. The front lobby is spacious yet warm and cozy. The huge mural of the beach gave the lobby a relaxed vacation vibe. I appreciated the fact that there is an onsite pharmacist with a full out medication room to store meds and medication carts to make dispensing easy yet safe. They also have a seasoned chef on staff and a small exercise room. There are several activity areas for arts, crafts, and music therapy. The rooms are super spacious and there are options for single or double occupancy. The onsite salon is a unique feature often not seen in assisted living facilities. The outdoor area brought it all together. I really liked the huge, fully furnished covered patio, the mini putting green, and the covered cabana which backs into a huge private green space. Super impressed with the small yet meaningful touches this facility offers their residents.

I cannot fully express what a blessing you guys are to us. You embrace all the things that make Mom the special person she is. In many ways I think she feels more useful and valued than she has in many years. I know she knows how much we love her, but I believe she feels NEEDED in your community ... this is huge

Love this placeMy mother has been there since they pretty much opened. Everyone that works there is very kind to my mother and me. It is a very warm and loving environment. My mother has lived with me for 15 years and it was very hard for me to place her but I truly feel like I found my mom a forever home.

My mom has been in assisted living for almost 4 years. Moving someone with Alzheimer's is a gut-wrenching decision. We're glad we did. The team there works hard for their residents and are responsive to the families.

Affectionate Care Assisted Living is a beautiful home for the senior citizens where they can feel safe, warmth, appreciation, comfort, love and happiness. I've had the privilege of touring the new home last August and December of 2021. The first time I saw the place, I said, "Wow, I would love to live here, so cozy and beautiful!" I love the breathtaking wall paintings, modern furnitures and great decorations. The home has its own private hair salon, theatre and computer room, mini golf in the yard, big open spacious common room, a huge kitchen, exercise room and much more. The second visit was this past Christmas. The highlights of the celebration were a live concert by a beautiful soloist, delicious meal and dance. The most memorable highlight for me was seeing the residents' smiles as they danced happily to the music. What a blessing! One of the best service that this home provides is a continuous on-site monitoring of the residents' health especially maintenance of their medications by their own clinical pharmacist. This is beneficial and truly a plus for the resident's well being. I believe the residents who live here definitely look happy and content. They are truly deeply appreciated and are treated with the best quality care and love.

I wanted to checkout assisted living facilities close by and I found Affectionate Care online. I spoke to the owner and she met with me to answer my questions and give me a feel for the community there since it the opening will be in Dec 2020. It's a family owned business and you can feel that they have thought of everything with so much care and have put their heart and soul into creating a home that really cares about the mental, emotional and physical condition of their residence. We will definitely consider this home when the time comes.
