I've been researching memory care facilities for my grandfather with Alzheimer's. I had heard good things about The Reserve in Pasadena, so I was excited to tour the facility. While on the tour, I overheard an employee talking on her cellphone. She was being loud, saying the "f" word and talking about sx. I heard someone refer to her as Ramona. This is unprofessional. I will not place my grandfather in a facility that allows their employees to behave in that manner. There's a time and place for that kind of talk and it is not at your place of employment. The supervisors should be ashamed of themselves. This tells me this place is poorly managed. I will be going elsewhere.

The Reserve at Pasadena is one of the best senior living communities in Texas. Their staff is always friendly and warm when I visit. The community is always clean and has a peaceful energy. Everywhere I look I see smiling faces. The leadership is always present and attentive especially their Executive Director, Julie Stair. She runs that community like it's her home and the residents are always so happy to see her, and the staff seem to love working for her. I highly recommend this community to anyone seeking a comfortable place to for their loved ones. The love and genuine care they will receive will be phenomenal.

My Dad has been a resident in the memory care at The Reserve in Pasadena for 3 months and is happy there. The staff is very patient and caring. They take excellent care of him and he is always clean as is his room. I'm so glad we finally found a good place for Dad.

The staff and caregivers at The Reserve @ Pasadena were so kind and loving to our mother. She was in the Memory Care for 4 years and they took her to the end of life. We could not have asked for any better care for our precious loved one. From the food to the family centered activities, they took care of her as if she were their own mother or grandmother.

The quality of care is the best, and we have shopped in five different places. The staff is very loving and caring. My dad is much healthier and happier here. I highly recommend you move your loved one here. If we didn't have this team I am afraid that he wouldn't be here. He is able to do more on his own now.

So clean and well maintained. Excellent value for this level of care. Wonderful staff. There is plenty of them, and they stay engaged with the residents. Lisa Gewecke is a delight to work with. A wealth of information. She schooled me on all the ins and outs of long term care. Mom is going to love it here.

This community and the staff who work there are phenomenal! Though this is an older building that could probably use some updates to the decor, when you walk in and start getting a feel for the place there's a great energy here. The residents all seem to be very happy to be there and the employees also seem to enjoy working there. The building is very clean and well kept, the grounds are also cared for. Julie Stair toured me as I was looking for my mother for her potential move to the area. Julie was quite knowledgeable and friendly, and her rapport with fellow employees very positive I could tell she had great confidence and trust in the staff that provide the care to the seniors. I had the chance to ask a resident in their lobby how they liked living there and how they liked the food and they were happy to share how pleased they were to live there and that colonial oaks was their home.

Highly recommended. Very clean , smells fresh, staff very friendly. Office staff very friendly, very knowledgeable. Management very professional and knowledgeable. My mother has a studio. Perfect for her needs. A lovely dining room. Lots of social activities. It's a win win!

We havent even moved my brother in yet, but are so impressed with how Catina and Michelle have facilitated his transition from a skilled nursing facility to Colonial Oaks. They always make themselves available to answer any questions or take any steps to smooth his move-in. We cant help but be optimistic that they will continue such care and attentiveness when my brother is a resident there.

Ive been looking at this place for my husbands grandparents. We went in for a tour and Julie helped us. She was really knowledgeable and friendly. We had a ton of questions and she answered everything thoroughly. She also gave us a lot of extra information about things we didnt think about and that was very helpful. The whole staff seemed friendly and organized, the facilities were clean, and the residents seemed happy here. This will be at the top of our list as soon as we have to make a decision.
