I can honestly say I was very blessed. I was a waitress when COVID started and was laid off and had a friend reach out and bless me to work at dogwood trails. March 24th will mark 1 year of being apart of the dogwood family and I absolutely LOVE my job and wouldnt trade it for the world. I love all of my residents(:

Working with the Seniors at Dogwood Trails Assisted Living and Memory Care is a dream job in so many ways. I get to use my creativity every day, and hang out with folks who have lived in a time that was so interesting and different than the one we live in now. Ive learned so much, and grown to love each one of them. The Director is open minded and loves for the staff to think outside of the box to bring these people awesome experiences.

I moved to East Texas 2 1-2 years ago and was blessed enough to become apart of the most amazing TEAM here at Dogwood Trails! I cant say enough about the dedicated people I call my work family. It is a privilege to work with the Elderly and to be apart of their everyday lives! I have learned some much from our wonderful residents and feel a since of purpose everyday I get to work! Caring for someone else is the most rewarding experience! Love Dogwood Trails!!!!!!

After visiting several Senior living facilities searching for a home for my Mother, we toured Dogwood Trails and decided our search was over. We placed her there immediately as we were sure we would be unable to find a more outstanding home. It has certainly and undoubtedly been the right decision to move her here. To say that the Staff is outstanding would be an understatement, as they have gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide for every need and request that we have presented them with. In addition, every question has been answered honestly and straightforward, traits that seem to be in short supply in todays world! If I could give them 10 stars on this dadgum survey, I would absolutely do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very clean place, everyone is so nice and friendly there. My aunt couldn't stop talking about their trip to the Grapeland Safari. they are always going and doing something!

This is the second time we have had a family member at Dogwood and each time we have been so impressed with the care and concern of our family and how well taken care of my aunt was and now my uncle.. We are always made to feel welcome each time we come and its always clean!! That's a biggie for me.

We had been looking for a place for my father and contacted Dogwood for a tour. They invited us to eat lunch before the tour. We were very impressed with the food. The place was very clean and everyone made us feel so welcome and at home there. My father is loving it there now.

We toured Dogwood Trails Assisted Living for my mom and were very impressed! I am a retired nurse of 40 years so I'm very picky! The facility was very clean and I was impressed by both nurses on the premises and their knowledge in regards to my mother's dementia. In the end, my mother's condition worsened but I wish she could have lived there! I highly recommend this facility.

This place really feels like home when we come visit. My mother is so happy here and is always involved in one activity or another. The staff stays in close contact with us to make sure we know if there are any changes. If you want to know your family is taken care of this is the place.
