Great independent senior living community! My parents were there 1 year. My dad was 99 and mom was 97. The management and staff were always welcoming, professional and cheerful. A happy place! They had a beautiful bright 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment/large family room/small kitchen with SO many windows and a surround patio on the 2nd floor. Residents enjoyed themselves and were friendly in conversation as we were there often to be with our parents. Dining room was comfortable, enjoyable, well-served with variety and nutrition. My parents had meals delivered to their apartment as my dad was not able to get out easily. We contracted for additional services by private caregiver EVE'S CARE. Evelyn was excellent in meeting their daily needs and adjusting over time to include care over night. She was efficient, caring, always encouraging, professional and had high expectations for her team of caregivers. Her care during the day was intermittent - just enough to anticipate and meet their needs, but also to give them alone time for the two of them. She breathed life into both of them with her bright, delightful and optimistic personality. She became part of their family and ours too! We will miss our daily interactions with her and her team. She is an excellent resource if you are looking to add additional care at the Waterford in Mesquite!

Jennie, the activity director, is wonderful. She plans some of the most interesting activities for the seniors at The Waterford. My mother is a new resident, and Jennie made her feel at home with activities like karaoke, bingo, Bible study and farckle. She takes the time to get to know the residents. I appreciate how thoughtful she is and the hard work she puts into making sure the residents enjoy their home. 3/18/23 It is coming up on a year that my mother has been a part of this community, and she still loves it. Thank you Carrie and the rest of the staff for helping my mother enjoy her new home.

Every time I come to visit the facility it is nice, clean and inviting. The staff is always kind and helpful. I would recommend it to everyone.

The Waterford is very nice. The piano player was playing when I walked in. It has a positive vibe. I thought, when I need a place like this, I wouldn't mind coming here. The staff are all friendly. The only small complaint I have is that my Aunt's trash needed emptying, but it is the weekend, so I can't be too upset about that! So 4.75 stars.

I am very impressed with The Waterford at Mesquite. The staff are very personable and seem to really care about the residents. Jennie, the activities director does an excellent job. She is always making sure the residents stay active and have something to keep them occupied. Everyone at the front desk is always so upbeat and willing to assist with any situation. Very glad that I found this facility for my sister who is a resident there since February 2021.

Watched the movie that was created for your building and who ever did it did a great job. The place looks fun and inviting. A place a would love to have any member of my family go into. I came upon this site by accident we live in another state, but wish it was closer cause I would love to see my grandma in there. I loved seeing all the life in the video and the pictures you post. Your Activity person really knows how to show the residents a great time, what a way to live.

I was at Hobby Lobby when I over heard this lady talking about this Senior housing place here in Mesquite. She was so nice, she talked to me for about 30 minutes. She was so excited to tell me what she was working on that week with the residents, you could just see the passion in her eye and the excitement in her voice,, she really cares about her job. And it shows in the activity she post on Facebook. We are looking for a place for my mother, once she gets out of the hospital and because of Jenny the Activity lady this will be our first stop. Thanks again Jenny!

You are the best we have had, I love living here soon be 2 years . Great place to spend your later years. Let them do the work .Activity director always has things to do. Arts, crafts .Started new Vets group. Red hat ClubFor the ladies. Outings, even beach party on PatioThen a cook out to die for. information on Many holidays with treats. I could go on forever . Just cal or come by for a tour of the place. See all there is too offer. I give you a big high 5If it was allowed . Maybe some day soon.

I am a resident at The Waterford at Mesquite for near 2 yes now. I have loved every day of my time. All the staff is Friendly. Great, lovely, and kind community. We have a super great Activity Direct . Has so many things for us to fill our time. Crafts , arts, and games. We have new Red Hat Club for the ladies. New Vet group for all our military people. We had a greet beach party, cooks outs and special paradeOn Vet day. Today being MLK Day,We all were ask to complete our Dream for our Country. For her to put on display. I could go on all night. Jenniewill find something for all.I am so glad and proud to give herA 5 Star Review.

My husband and I have been resident since October of 2020. We have been so pleased with our stay here. Everyone is so helpful and so very friendly. Jennie Sheldahl, our activities director, is the best activities director we have had in the three years I have lived at Waterford at Mesquite. She is very creative and innovative in the crafts and games presented. All have enjoyed the activities presented and many more residents are participating in the activities, including me, and having fun. She is definitely a keeper!

One of the best things about The Waterford, other than it being a well kept place, is the community atmosphere. My dad was there until April of this year when he passed. I have made a lasting friendship with the nurse there, Tina Martin. She did so much for my dad above & beyond what was expected. I dont know of any resident that doesnt love her. She is knowledgeable, professional & a very caring person. If you need help with your loved one she is the best! Shes been doing this for many years & I highly recommend her.

I came just a while back, I love the piano playing and how everyone had a smile on. Even with the situation of the pandemic everyone seemed so happy! I think its a perfect community and I wish one day I could be lucky enough to live there as well!

My husband and I have lived here for 2 years and are very pleased with everything. One thing that is definitely a plus is our activity director, Jennie Sheldahl. She spends a lot of time to keep us all involved in various activities, including an occasional trip on the bus. She has also organized, among other activities, a Red Hat group for us ladies. Definitely recommend anyone to come by and check us out!!

Wonderful management team! They truly love and respect their residents. I can not say enough about how wonderful the staff is, starting at the top, with Lisa Fite as Executive Director. She has built a caring team that has very little turnover. This is extremely rare in the senior living industry! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for senior living in this area.

The staff and management are absolutely wonderful at this community! When you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff and happy residents. Residents love to talk about what they have planned for the day and what wonderful food they will be eating during their meal times. That has a lot to do with management and their wonderful executive director. Happy staff, happy residents. If you are in search of an independent living community, look no more. If you havent been there to visit yet, wait no more. Youll be glad you did.

Cannot say enough positive things about Waterford. Very friendly, sociable, active environment that has done wonders for my mother-in-law. Since her husband of 70 years passed, she has gone from a lonely, often isolated with her memories, frail woman dangerously loosing weight to a very active sociable resident worried about gaining too much weight! We now have to call ahead to make sure our visit wont interfere with activities. I highly recommend this very budget friendly residence for senior living.
