And Ms Joy Jackson the Executive Director is a dedicated leader who works to make sure every resident receives the best service and feels like they are home. The first place my Mom went had less than appetizing food, but Mom was very complementary of the food at Brookdale and that was a big plus.

On March 3rd we made the move to an assisted living facility. Together we made this decision and it turns out to be the right choice. I spent time looking at various facilities in Mansfield and ended up with a top three to choose from. Looking at care plan costs, facility size and staffing, we chose Brookdale Mansfield . The facility is within walking distance to my home. The staff is friendly and attentive to Moms needs. The staff consists of many professionals with backgrounds in assisted living care. Always greeted with smiles and updates as needed. The meals are prepared well, hot and plenty to satisfy the appetite. Choices are available should the entree for the day not be desired. Building maintenance and upkeep is top notch. The maintenance person is probably the newest member of Brookdale and he shows to be a great fit. I appreciate the communications that exist to my own needs and concerns, immediately being addressed. Mom has made several new friends and enjoys her apartment lifestyle. If you are considering the many options of facilities out there, please make a visit to Brookdale Mansfield. I know you will be pleased.

My dad has lived here for 6 months it is definitely one of the better assisted living facilities! The staff is all pretty good my dad says they are nice and attentive even when I am not there, Which is huge in my books.The facility is generally very clean I love that every Sunday he gets his room scrubbed, bedding changed, laundry done. I would say the only area of improvement would be the meals according to my dad. Like any place you still have to advocate for your parent or a loved one for an example I stay on top of his medications and doctors orders and make sure they're being followed through, never had a problem. I would highly recommend this place for your loved one.

My grandfather recently moved into Brookdale Mansfield. I was very skeptical of "Assisted Living" centers. Brookdale is NOT like any center I've been at before. The laughter can be heard the minute you walk in the door. I'm not ever sure where to begin to look for my Grandpa--he might be singing songs in the music area, watching Yellowstone on Thursdays, or playing Bingo! I think he has a fuller social calendar than I do! My son recently turned 4 years old--he wanted his birthday party at Brookdale with all of the Grandma's and Papa's! Brookdale was FABULOUS and helped make his Birthday wish come true! I am no longer worried about my Grandpa's safety--he is GREAT hands at Brookdale Mansfield!

Brookdale was our landing spot when Mom was on hospice and Dad was weak and malnourished after arriving by ambulance from Alabama. They opened a door between two smaller rooms so that both Mom and Dad could be cared for by hospice nurses, and a personal aid. (And they could each sleep well knowing the other was a few steps away) After Mom passed, they helped us get Dads weight up and with love and care assisted us to get Dad healthy enough to come live with us full time! Marti Smith and Kim Trietsch treated ALL of us like family and made Dad feel treasured. (He went from 107 lbs when he first arrived to 134 when he moved in with us.)We are grateful for the wonderful services they provided.

We moved Mom to Brookdale Mansfield last month and have been pleased the management is very proactive. Supervisory staff is trained and disciplined. The issues specific to Mom have been incorporated into the standard procedures. There are a number of activities for the residents to involved with. The site Nurse is hands-on and keeps us informed. Facility is clean and well maintained. The location is in an excellent area that is safe and not congested.

When my 92 year old mother fell and broke her wrist we knew she was going to need extra help. I visited 4-5 communities in the area and chose Brookdale Mansfield. I made the right decision. My mother is always telling everyone how happy she is there and how nice everyone has been to her. The administrative staff including Kim, Marti, Samantha, Tina and Jimmy are simply outstanding. As I said earlier my mother is so happy here and now she is an Ambassador and is helping to make new residents feel welcome. I highly recommend Brookdale Mansfield for your love one.

My father has been at Brookdale since March 2019 and has grown to love the place. It took many months to convince him that he needed help with daily living and we couldnt afford the cost of caretakers anymore. Kim and Marti met with us many times to discuss living at Brookdale and sucessfully assured my father he would be happy there. The nurse Sam has been great working with me to ensure my father's health is taken care of. His doctor even said he looks great and his health couldn't be better. The entire staff at Brookdale really seems to care about the residents there. The staff is always friendly to me when I visit my father updating me on my father's daily routines. My father always tells how nice everyone is and he enjoys all the activities. I have actually eaten there a couple of times and the food is really good so now I know why my father enjoys the food at Brookdale and has gained back the weight he lost living alone. In all it was a tough decision but it was the right one for my father's benefit. I would recommend Brookdale Mansfield to anyone.

When the facility where our mother was living notified us they were discontinuing services we were tasked with finding a new place quickly. Brookdale Mansfield has been a blessing. The smaller size has eliminated the intimidation of the larger facility and mom is much more comfortable leaving her room and socializing. The caregivers have been sweet and patient with mom and often tell us stories about interactions with her. We so appreciate Marti Smith for introducing us to Brookdale Mansfield and Kim Treitsch and Samantha Guthrie for setting in place the personal and medical parameters that make Brookdale Mansfield the perfect place for mom.

My Uncle Carol Coolidge was there for just over 2 years and I was acquainted with three different General managers over that time period. The best of the three was Kim Trietch. She was always on top of anything that needed to be taken care of. Also to my surprise when my Uncle passed away Kim attended the Funeral services. She came by to visit with me after the Service and asked me to stay in touch. That was much appreciated. Over the 2 year period that Carol was there Brookdale Mansfield was always clean and well kept. To be sure his meals were good I would eat there with him at lunchtime, and sit with the other residents. Everyone there knew Carol by name and always had something nice to say about him. He passed away in August of this year and my duties for him have finally subsided or I would have done this review earlier. I want the people of Mansfield to know they could have their loved ones residing at Brookdale Mansfield with confidence. Especially with the current management.

I visited several facilities prior to moving my aunt to Brookdale Mansfield. What made this place stand out was the staff. They took the time to get to know about my needs as well as my aunts needs prior to her arriving. They had a very caring and family center approach. As of last December my aunt relocated from the Virginia area where she lived for over 50 years independently straight to her new home here. I have to admit it was a little rocky transition from total independence (although her independence was very compromised by now) to living in an assisted environment. The staff was very patient and understanding. I have to say Im thrilled as well as her that she is at Brookdale. With a lot of time and effort from the staff and management an awesome balance of independence and assisted care has been established for my aunt based on her abilities. This facility has creatively found this balance and my aunt simply loves her new home and has flourished in social relationships with other residence as well as maintaining her independence as an individual. Thanks Brookdale Mansfield for all you do!

After visiting several other properties, our family decided to have my mother (Ginny) reside at Brookdale, Mansfield Tx. The staff, and the residents have made my mother so welcome, she has finally said she was happy. That doesnt sound like a big deal, but my mother hasnt said she was happy for more than 10 years. It was always, Im ok, Im hanging in there. Never Im very happy, I didnt realize that a place or the people at Brookdale would my family such a piece of mind. We know how difficult it is to choose a place for your elderly parents to live. Heres why we chose Brookdale in Mansfield. My in laws were both 90 when they moved to Brookdale. They had been living on their own with some help during the week to do some light housekeeping, cooking and laundry. We knew their needs would be changing and thought it best if they moved to an assisted living facility. We started the journey of finding the perfect place for them and landed on Brookdale. Brookdale allowed them to be as independent as they could be or wanted to be and also gave them the assurance that someone was always there for them. With Brookdale cooking their meals and snacks they no longer had to concern themselves with grocery shopping or cooking. They felt as if they were living in a hotel and stated that many times. Mia Madison, the director at Brookdale in Mansfield knows her residents. Shes involved and takes the time to listen to both the residents and their families. During the time my in laws were there, my Father in law was diagnosed with additional medical issues and Mia and her staff were there to support both him and my Mother in law. While my Father in law was in the hospital and after he passed away; Mia and her staff were very good to my Mother in law. You can imagine how alone my Mother in law felt after being married for almost 70 years. I would hope that all children are fortunate enough to find a place like Brookdale for their parents-inlaws.
