The entire Legacy Staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. The Heath and Wellness Director has spent additional time to help my mother rebound from rehab. I greatly appreciate that. I have met a number of the Legacy Staff and they are all top notch people. The Legacy Staff truly care about the residents.

The Legacy at South Plains was our last visit when trying to find a place for mom. They were courteous and really cared about us being there and helping. They followed up and every employee I talked to was courteous. Sadly, mom passed before we could use their services, but they are definitely worth a look. I would not hesitate to allow them to take care of my elders. Quality of life and compassionate care is a huge mantra here.

Amy the intake coordinator made a difficult process as easy as possible. She guided us through the paperwork. My sister is really looking forward to moving in The Legacy. Everything I have seen there gives me confidence her needs will be met there, as well as a lot of her wants.

Do Not Move your loved one here. Keep looking for something locally owned. The corporate policies and standards here are so low that it promotes the demise of the residents. I had my mom in memory care for 18 months and I tried endlessly to get the administration to monitor and enforce practices such as hand washing, toileting, fluid intake, cleanliness, and staff who work and are not on their phone. The staff turnover is constant and they use agency staff at every shift. I contacted their corporte offices multiple times and they do not care.

The staff at Legacy at South Plains is hands down the best in Lubbock. I am so thankful for them and am so happy we moved our parents here.

After researching and touring several Lubbock assisted living facilities, my father chose The Legacy at South Plains Connections for my mother. Perhaps his choice was based on the calming environment, the lovely rooms, the professionalism of the staff that greeted us for the tour, or something else that just clicked. Regardless, it was the right choice for mom. The Connections was perfectly suited for her. She had privacy as well as social engagement. And when mom was no longer leaving her room, the staff came to her and remained engaged with her. Dad was there visiting every day and the staff at Legacy became his new friends. Their care extended to him as well. During our original tour, Amy told dad, they would take over all of the care he was providing for mom and all he would need to do is love her. She was right. And for that reason, I would recommend The Legacy at South Plains to anyone looking for a caring place for a loved one.

Wow! The workers here never cease to amaze me! Every time I visit they are amazing. Having family here they take care of everything above and beyond what could be expected. If a problem arises they are quick to resolve the issue!

When choosing a new home for my parents several months ago, I visited numerous places in the greater Lubbock area. My visits included a personal discussion with the executive director, a tour of the facility, conversations with staff (most of whom were not prepped for being questioned) and even quick chats with other residents. The Legacy at South Plains was great in every category. They navigated the move-in process, lending a hand often because I wasn't local. They assisted with getting supplies and connecting electronic items. Anything I needed, they were there. LASP has been a blessing for me. Just knowing that my dad is safe and well-cared for allows me to rest easy and have confidence that they’ve got things under control. Our family and friends visit regularly and are always treated well. If we've ever needed anything, the staff makes themselves available. While this stage of life isn't easy to walk through, LASP has sure made things easy.

The team really cares for my mom that lives there. Always calling her by name as well as me. When my dad passed from dementia, they did everything they could to make sure he was comfortable and passed with dignity. They were all such a blessing and comfort to us!I appreciate all they do to make my mom’s life the best it can be. We feel confident the team at Legacy is the best fit for mom!

The staff at Legacy at South Plains are terrific! They truly care about the residents there, take time to get to know them, and treat them with respect. The staff also go out of their way to help the residents and their family. My parents moved into the Legacy a couple months ago. What really sold me was that they have a therapy in their facility that will come to their room and take my mom to therapy. I believe that with out that, mom would be so much worse than she is. They enjoy the food, and what I have eaten has been very good! I am so glad we decided to come to the legacy.

I would like to thank everyone at the Legacy at South Plains for making my mom feel so welcomed! Mom is happy and making friends quickly. Several ladies in the community were present to greet mom on her first day. They will never know what joy that brought to our hearts as well. The staff are all taking good care of our sweet mom. My in-laws moved into Legacy assisted living in March 2021. Both of them had serious health issues that were at the upper boundary for what is feasible for an assisted living unit. The level of care they needed presented challenges for both the staff and our family. Covid also caused additional challenges for everyone. However, Legacy did their best to work with us, and then recommended that we have hospice provide assistance as well later in my in-laws' stay. Throughout all of this, Kristy, the administrative nurse, was truly an angel. She responded to calls and texts after hours and on weekends, and even went to the facility outside her normal hours to check on and care for my in-laws. Our interactions with all of the staff were very positive, especially with the young ladies at the front desk. We live in another state, but when we went to visit, they recognized us from our phone conversations and treated us like family. My own father resided at an assisted living in a facility close to me. It was also a very nice facility with a kind and caring staff. I learned from the two experiences that assisted living and all forms of elder care have their limitations. End of life is hard. But the staff at Legacy is kind and caring and helped us through the challenges associated with the aging of loved ones.

I had the pleasure of getting to visit with the Executive Director Renee and the Department Managers. They have so much passion for the residents in the community. The philosophy of Life Well truly does revolve around their residents. I was so impressed with all of the safety measures that are put in place to keep everyone safe. Great job!!! Best staff ever! Always on top of things and always looking for ways to better assist my FIL. All staff whether it's the person that cleans his room, empties his trash, does his laundry, kitchen and dining room staff, or the Director, Marketing director, financial person, activities director, concierge, and some I don't even know what their position is, but all are friendly, helpful, personable, and most important caring and loving. There's always something going on one day several residents loaded on the bus and went and got ice cream, the other day there was a snow cone vendor out front so they got snow cones, there was a fashion show, and that's not all but way too many to list. They all care about the residents health and well being.
