The food has gone down hill. It's hard to believe that it's because of budget cuts considering what we pay for room and board. The chicken salad was delicious but is no longer available. Breakfast is at 7 and dinner is at 5. By breakfast which is delicious by the way, I'm ready to chew shoe leather. We only have breakfast and lunch or dinner. Not both. I'm hungry and paying for frozen meals from Walmart. This is not what I was expecting. Disappointed

To whom it may concern: I want yo to know that for the three years I've lived here at Arabella it has been a pure joy. The residents are like family. The staff, especially Nikki and Paula are a Good send. I'm so happy I came here.

We have just moved to Arabella permanently and have found the perfect retirement community. The entire staff is customer oriented. If you’re looking for a place to retire, I recommend it highly.

I could not be more pleased with the staff and management at Arabella assisted living. From start to finish they answered all my questions, concerns. The facility is beautiful and clean. My mom raves about how good the food is. They really pamper and make my mom feel special. I truly sleep better at night knowing the quality care she is getting.

I get the full scoop daily about Arabella. I have been the stylist at The Spot Salon located on the 2nd floor inside Arabella. The bad review I just read about Arabella may be speaking of the assisted living side, but can not be talking about the independent living side of Arabella. I watch the staff tirelessly serve the residents everyday. Events of every kind are going on weekly to keep the residents and families entertained. The staff goes all out at the events in multiple ways. I see the staff daily checking on residents, making sure everyone is satisfied, and go above and beyond for the residents. The maintenance men are continually helping residents with small issues that do not fall under their responsibility. The residents support one another. Residents go on trips all the time to the boat, out to eat and more. We all make sure new residents are adjusting well. This is really like no other 55+ apartments, condos with extra hands on care.

My 93 year old mother and I live in the Independent Living community and we love it. The staff are very helpful and caring. Always willing to go the extra mile for the residents. They offer many activities, events and trips throughout the month. I just cant say enough about how nice our apartment is and how wonderful the staff is. 🙂

When my elderly mother and dad moved to Arabella several months ago, it was a most difficult transition for them and our family. But it has turned into a very positive, encouraging experience. The staff has been so wonderful, particularly one individual whom I want to mention as the one that exhibits a heart and true kindness for others. Amber has been this person to our family. From day one, she has gone beyond her duties to accomodate, address issues, comfort, and welcome our family to this facility. If it werent for her, my parents wouldnt be there. She is a talented professional in the field of geriatric care; observant, expeditious, and resourceful. We are truly blessed by her presence there and want people to know Arabella is a better place because of her. Thank you, Amber!!

We almost chose this community for my mom. My sister lives in Longview and we have heard great things about it from her previous neighbors. Her neighbors have raved and raved about this community. Everyone is so friendly and the community is gorgeous.
