Everything was absolutely perfect at The Bradford! My husband was here for quite awhile and everyone from the nursing staff , the administration all the way to the cleaning staff treated us like family. This is probably the cleanest nursing home I've ever seen. I was very worried about my husband having to go to a rehab facility but once we walked in all my fears were gone. I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

Hi my mother stated here and was well cared for and I had an opportunity to stop back in recently to pay a visit and noticed a little of the same staff and that made me happy but the cleanliness I felt had made the most improvement. Keep up the good work up there those people need you.

UPDATE: After 13 weeks at The Bradford, my mother passed away. I can't recall everyone's name, but will try to make my gratitude obvious. The medical leadership team of Dr. Luna, Tiffany and Jessica were effective in coordinating care and responding to our requests. Meri in the Business Office was responsive and helpful with billing and payment. The Front Desk receptionists were pleasant and never failed to greet us as we came and went. Wound Care nurse Ashley is a stand out! She had one of the most difficult pieces of my mother's care plan and she executed it daily with grace and kindness. I appreciate her care and support more than words can express. Supervising nurses Ashley, Teresa, Aubrey, Shelby, Emily and Donna did their best to balance our needs with the rest of their workload. They spent quality time with us, answering questions and explaining things we struggled to understand about the dying process. They responded to requests for changes or additions to my mother's care without protest. There were many superb aides whose names I didn't get or forgot when they dropped off of our rotation, but nearly every aide was competent and caring. Renata, Mikel and Macey were particular standouts as they kindly treated my mother and got to know us. The aides were hard-working, serious and conscientiousness about the care they provided and their dedication should be rewarded. The pharmacy aides who faithfully administered medication to my often-uncooperative mother deserve a medal: Alyssa, Stephanie, Gencyna, Alicia, Erin, Barbie, and Daedae—I'm sure my list is incomplete—and undoubtedly misspelled—but these women were all admirable and committed. We also appreciated the Housekeeping staff, who cleaned the room and checked to see if there was anything they could do for us. They were unfailingly cheerful and pleasant, and I appreciated every visit they made to empty the trash and wipe down the surfaces. Their supervisor, Joanna, seems to be one of the hardest-working people in the facility because I saw her cleaning everywhere! In summary, my brother and I are pleased with the care and service my mother and our family received at The Bradford. -------------------- My 85 year-old mother was at The Bradford for 13 weeks following a fall/broken leg. She was a hospice patient which gave her care in addition to what The Bradford provides. Despite that, it appears that more than a few shifts were under-staffed (especially weekends), resulting in over-long delays to receive routine care for wounds, scheduled turning, toileting, timely pain medication administration and responding to (red button) assistance calls. Most of the patient-facing staff seem kind and well-trained, from nurses, pharmacy techs and aides to custodians and maintenance. Suggestions: 1. Hospice nurse should have log-in access to the patient treatment log without having to request it from The Bradford nurse. In our experience, we had better and more frequent communication with hospice staff, but were frustrated that they were frequently left out of the loop. 2. The Bradford's administrative staff, including the Social Worker, should be able to access a data management portal for sharing information, especially when a patient's status changes, so that families are not disturbed to answer inquiries that could have been shared, whether from the medical department to the business office or notifying changes from Medicare to private pay, etc. 3. All aspects of the patient's experience at The Bradford should be logged into a centralized portal accessible to appropriate staff seeking data appropriate to their area of responsibility. The portal should also allow designated family members to access treatment and billing data, as well as communicate with staff via internal e-mail messages. 3. Serve fresh fruit with, at minimum, one meal per day. 4. Provide headphones/earbuds for patients in semi-private rooms. It is unreasonable to expect that two TVs/phones/music players can be operated simultaneously at a manageable volume level.

My Mom went to Bradford for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy after suffering a heart attack. I was pleased with care she received. A huge shoutout to Hope Eaton our DON for answering my 101 calls, to the nurses for making her feel at home and to Lydia in dietary and all her staff for meeting all of Moms coffee needs. Torin and the therapy department for getting Mom strong enough to go home and to Theracare Home Health for the continuation of care at home. It takes a TEAM and we were blessed to have The Bradford in our time of need.

My mother went to The Bradford at Brookside in Livingston at the end of June, for skilled therapy after a few health complications. From the very beginning, even before she was transported from the hospital to the facility Meri Ann and Brenda have been amazing, they have answered all our questions and helped my sister and I navigate through all the paperwork needed to get her placed there as a full-time resident. Although we do not know all her care givers by name (yet) everyone is friendly, able to answer our questions, and help with whatever we need. My sister and I are very pleased with the level of care she is receiving. My mother is very happy there and she says the same thing about all the staff. Shoutout to the Activities Director for all the wonderful activities for the residents. The facility is beautiful and very well maintained. Joanna, Director of Housekeeping, she is amazing and has been very helpful. We are excited and looking forward to getting to know everyone there.

This is a beautifully clean facility that provides excellent care to our loved ones as a whole. The staff are friendly and highly skilled. Between the delicious food from the dietary team, the gorgeous facility meticulously cared for by the housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance team, the exceptional care provided by the nursing team, the fun activities with Mrs Gloria, and the intensive one on one care provided by the therapy department it's easy to see why they are highly recommended. A special thank you to the hard working staff at the Bradford, who come in every day and care for our loved ones as their own.
