I had to share how wonderful this place is because my wife works here and absolutely loves it. She often tells me how friendly and cooperative everyone is, which makes a world of difference. It brings me so much joy to see her thriving in a job where she gets to be a meaningful part of the residents' lives. Great environments like this are rare these days, and it's heartwarming to know she's part of such a positive and supportive community.

My dad just recently spent four nights at Colonial after they worked tirelessly and on a moment's notice to get him in after hours when his care at a different facility fell through. When we arrived, he was enthusiastically and kindly greeted by the nursing staff and they got right to work making sure he had everything he needed. His room was clean and comfortable. Right before I left him for the night, he thanked me for finding him such a nice, dignified facility (and he is not often easy to please). Every day I spoke with him during his stay, he told me how kind and caring the staff was at all times. When it was time for him to move to his permanent facility, the staff at Colonial worked to arrange a ride for him and helped make the transition as smooth as possible. I would recommend Colonial to anybody making the difficult decision to place their loved one in a long term care facility. You can feel confident that they will be treated with the upmost care and respect.

Really a 3.5 rating. The Physical Therapy department of this facility is outstanding. Residents are cared for by these departmental employees tenderly and professionally while pushing their patients to make progress. However, there are certain aspects of his facility which could improve. They are understaffed with CNA's and Nursing leaving residents without routine hygiene. The existing staff in these departments are attentive and caring, down to the maintenance staff. The events coordinator does her best to have residents join in activities, although the activities seem to be duplicated. How about a small pottery class, or a session with a Therapy Dog (as do many hospitals), Therapy Horse, maybe have therapy animals routinely for the residents? I'll refrain from speaking of the executive level manager and will say everyone below this person seems to do their job well with what they have to work with. Would I put my loved one here? Yes, I would. However, being active in their treatment plan and everyday wellness is imperative.

My dad has been here 2 different times for "in patient PT & continued care" after a hospital stay. The nurses and his therapist Omar are all amazing! Thankful for the care & attention they give their patients.

After experiencing a truly horrible stay at Van, we placed my loved one here. It's SO much better. You're never ignored if you have questions or issues. You're never told "corporate won't allow that", or treated condescendingly. You never hear the words "that's not my job". The admissions person is especially wonderful, professional and gets things done. Staff is responsive to my loved ones needs and food is adequate and healthy. There's always encouragement to participate in activities. Nurses respond quickly. Highly recommended.

Such an inviting atmosphere as you witness the fun & exciting activities that continue throughout the building daily as well as the positive vibes you receive from each caregiver. Great place for rehab, respite stay, or long term care for a patient or loved one.

Very well run. Great CNAs, housekeeping and nurses. They take very good care of my loved one. Admissions person is always helpful. Rehab dept is fantastic. What you never hear is "...not my job.." or "we'll have to check with corporate". The only reason I can't give 5 stars is we're not impressed with the physician. Wish my loved one could have her own PCP.

This past week I was faced with having to find new placement for my mom, cause the place she was at we were not going back!! I called Deangela and within minutes we had a plan and she gave me the feeling of peace knowing she was handling everything and with so much knowledge and compassion!! She found the perfect room for my mom and mom is so incredibly happy. My family and I are very grateful for her and Colonial Lindale.

The staff had all been very concerned about my parent. They have always addressed any concerns we had. Thanks for all the staff does for my parent ( Update) my dad died 2-10-2022 . We paid for the monthly amount. As of this day 10-27-2022 we still haven't gotten any of the money for that month back!! When we call are go bye there everyone is busy?? Can't talk to anyone?? And you are sent to voicemail, that is not returned. When you do get to talk to someone it's not their job are they will make sure it's turned in to get a refund! As if this day 10-27-2022 we still haven't received nothing and no one to answer where the Money is!! So if you take your parents to this nursing home ??
