The experience transitioning loved ones was a great experience. The staff moved quickly to make everything happen on a very short timeline with a smile the whole way. Everyone encountered was happy and smiling, it is obvious the staff love where they work. The facility is beautiful and clean!

The Delaney at South Shore has an excellent reputation and when I was looking for places to put my parents that reputation turned out to be accurate! Let me start with the administration first. When moving in, the process was so easy and calming due to the patience of answering so many questions I had.

My mother lives in independent living at the Delaney at South Shore. When she broke her leg, the staff really stepped up to make her comfortable and to assist in any way possible. Heidi helped me negotiate the ins and outs of Covid shots, coordinating with mothers hospital and physical therapy. Josie helped manage getting mom back to the Delaney from the nursing care facility, and Dorothy helped mother get back into exercising. The hospital surgeon said that thanks to the exercise program at the Delaney, mother was in good physical shape for a 90-year-old and would probably not have any problems recovering and resuming her active lifestyle. It was great to get her back to her nice, clean room. Overall, the continued care for their clients and the quality of their service (the food is excellent, Marty), has been a relief to my sister an me. Caring for your parents is not easy, but the Delaney at South Shore has made it much easier for me and my sister. Thank you, Delaney.

Before placing my mom there, I was told that the Delaney was the best memory care facility in the area. After having her there for nearly six months I wholeheartedly agree. The facility is beautiful, well maintained, and highly organized. The staff is always courteous, responsive, and loving toward my mom. The staff at the Delaney has been wonderful. It was hard in the beginning With my dads passing After 65 years of marriage to my mom, especially with the pandemic. Heidi and Becky have been great not only helping my mom but also helping me to deal with all the changes. The maintenance staff have also been efficient with anything that was needed. They have handled the pandemic beautifully with the residents and families. My mom has been making friends with other residents which is a blessing. Im finally able to breath and not worry 24, 7.

My father lived at The Delaney at South Shore for about a year. He started out in Independent Living and then needed more care and was transferred to Assisted Living. The staff at the delaney always cared for his needs on time and went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for. They helped him with small needs such as helping him with his phone to big needs such as maintenance in his apartment. They even cared for his cat while he was away for a few days. This is a staff that truly cares for their residents and made my dad feel safe and comfortable when we were no longer able to. I highly recommend the delaney to anyone seeking continuous care for their parents.

I was searching for a place for my parents to potentially relocate closer to me and was able to have a virtual visit of The Delaney South Shore. The community - wow, so beautiful and the apartment was spacious and I was so surprised how custom the kitchen was just like a home kitchen since my Mom still loves to cook. Michelle was so great in answering all my questions and helping me with ideas to encourage my parents to make the move. She went into detail and sent me the activity calendar and the menu for dining is five star. I want to move in!! It will take a little time but Im very impressed with The Delaney at South Shore.Leslie Bull

The Delaney at South Shore is so warm and welcoming. Before Covid hit, I helped move my grandmother in. During our initial tour, there wasnt one person that didnt greet us with a hello in passing. The community definitely has a resort style feel. Throughout Covid, The Delaney has gone above and beyond to keep my grandmother engaged and involved. With that being said, they have also managed to keep all of the residents safe and Covid free. I couldnt be more pleased with a Senior Living Community. Thank you Delaney at South Shore.

We looked at places for my grandma and this place did virtual touring with my mom & dad when they couldnt go in to see the rooms. The lady called them back a few times to check in. We havent made a decision yet for her but this one is high on our list. The people have been very helpful and the community is beautiful.

My aunt lives here after moving out of her home in January and she has nothing but positive reviews to say about the staff and the care she gets daily. She was in her home and unable to handle the unkeep anymore and Delaney had everything she was looking for so that she can enjoy a carefree lifestyle and continue doing the things she loves.I was able to visit her when she first moved in and i was thoroughly impressed with the food, the caregivers, and the cleanliness of the facility. I cant wait for them to open fully so we can join her for the food again.

Heidi & her staff have gone beyond to follow the Health guidelines by the CDC, the State of TX, the corporate guideline during Covid-19 since March of this year. Their efforts have paid off as no resident or employee has had the virus. I know it is hard for the residents to understand the stay at home & health guidelines that the whole world has been under. They have still been able to visit & eat with small groups the entire time. They also have access to walking inside or outside. My Mom has seen more people on a daily basis than I have since March! I feel so blessed & happy that my Mom is living at The Delaney in Independent Living where she had 3 meals delivered a day, could walk around inside or outside of the Delaney, get her mail, go to sit & fit, bible study & eat with her friends! I know God brought my Mom to this great place, it was all part of his master plan! I live right down the street & can visit any time by sitting outside of her porch. Thanks to Heidi & staff for their kindness, concern & attention to details- they are doing an excellent job! I would recommend The Delaney highly to anyone interested in a Senior Care Living Place!

My wife and I have been living at the Delaney for 14 months now. I am in Independent Living and my wife is in Memory Care. Our experience here has been wonderful. The staff and management have always been open and friendly and eager to help in any way possible. The food is excellent and the housekeeping staff does a wonderful job.Since the pandemic started, we have felt safe and are very proud that we are one of the few senior living facilities with no COVID-19 cases so far. The staff and management have made every effort to follow the guidelines set forth by the corporation and state and federal instructions. They have also made every effort to encourage visitation by friends and families to keep us in contact with the rest of the world. Residents in IL can have face to face visitation with family outside with the visitors remaining in their vehicles and the residents staying 6 feet away from the vehicle. Residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care have visits through glass by telephone in a visitation booth set up in the AL and MCs entrance. The staff in Memory Care sets up audio and video calls for the residents to have contact with their families also. There is ample space for residents to socialize in the living areas and specialty rooms in Independent Living. There are smaller rooms where small groups of residents can share their meals while maintaining safe distancing.All in all, I think Heidi, her staff, and the corporation have done an excellent job of keeping us safe and as comfortable as possible during these unprecedented trying times. Thanks to all of you and lets pray that this pandemic ends soon.

We have great confidence in this facility. We know several residents who are thriving here. Care team is focused on the best in service excellence. We planned to move our Mother here, unfortunately she passed away while in the care of another facility prior to the move.

Great place. Carpet in the hallways always looks great. My Dad loves the food and the friendly staff is always eager to help him if he needs it. I have eaten there multiple times for all three meals in a day and the food was very good.
