Belmont Village staff and it’s residents are our forever home for my parents now. It’s has been a difficult journey, especially during Covid-19, learning what memory care residencies in Austin are safe and well staffed. We heard and actually saw some literally collapse during the pandemic due to poor management. Belmont Village Lakeway is a gem, with a very nice building complex and beautifully landscaped and maintained property. It’s obvious the moment you enter that the staff care about the residents and take their responsibilities to them and their families seriously. We do enjoy the salt water, heated pool when we can and sometimes stroll the I sometimes take them outside and stroll the grounds whether the landscaped courtyard, the fishing pond or just sitting outside enjoying nature. The chef at Josephine’s kitchen has many options for the residents and guest dining. We can sit inside or dine outside overlooking the pool. Many amenities including a theatre, bistro, library and salon. The choices for residents rooms and care are varies with options to meet resident needs. Staff is available and helpful. It’s suggest anyone meeting with them anytime and you’ll feel confident that should something arise, they take responsibility to resolve any issues. We have found a safe, caring and beautiful home for our parents now.

My mom has been there for a year and is very happy. People are friendly and helpful. Its always an adjustment to not living in your own home but weve had a good experience. There is always room for improvements but trying to satisfy a bunch of different wants and likes is a big undertaking. The facility is beautiful and well kept. The programmer works herself crazy providing activities for them to do. I hope in the future there will be more outings to help get them out and about in town, Austin has so much to offer.

My Dad lives here in assisted living since opening in October of 2018. Everything about this facility and the staff exceed all expectations. The living spaces are all stylish, tasteful and new. Common spaces include pool, a theater, gym, heated pool, putting green, and manicured landscaping. The staff here are unbelievably kind, caring, and selfless. I regularly describe his care is that every face he sees throughout his day is smiling at him. They consistently seek out ways to make him comfortable and always greet him with a smile. The programming includes daily group conversation, classes, art, exercise and singing seven days a week. The food is so well prepared that he refers to it as a restaurant and includes gourmet specials nightly along with excellent regular meals chosen from a menu. They make up his bed, square away his room daily and ensure that his laundry is never overdue. There are daily social events including speakers, musicians, and regular excursions around town including museums, malls, movies, plays and trips to the park. This is a community with the best retirement care one can obtain. No matter the level of independence of the residents, they are all very happy.
