Working as a cook in this wonderful establishment has been a very satisfying experience. Creating meals for residents who often have specific dietary needs and preferences requires creativity and adaptability. The role goes beyond simply cooking; It involves building relationships with residents, understanding their individual tastes and ensuring their nutritional needs are met. It is gratifying to see the joy on their faces when they enjoy a meal that is not only delicious but also tailored to their needs. Highly recommend! This is a great community to live at. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. I have never met anyone as passionate and caring as Cecilia Fontana, the Executive Director here at Landon Ridge. They have different outings & many activities for the residents each day. It's a great place to bring your loved ones!

When a California Investment firm bought my mother's previous assisted living facility, the first thing they did was cut services, cut staff, eliminate staff seniority and benefits, and raise charges by 25% across the board. Naturally the quality of life for many residents at that facility suffered tragically leaving many seniors forced to look elsewhere for quality care at an affordable price. This was a terribly stressful and heartless situation for my mother to suddenly have to deal with in the autumn of her years. Thankfully we found Landon Ridge to be an oasis in the desert. I cannot express how wonderful the staff has been in accommodating my mother's unique needs and expectations. At every level, the love, patience, and compassion of the staff toward the residents is greater than anything we've experienced in my mother's 10 years of living in various assisted living facilities. The facility itself is top notch, more like a fancy hotel than the standard utilitarian atmosphere found in most residences of this kind. It not only boasts amenities like activities rooms, large additional living spaces for entertaining guests, community porches, exercise equipment, a good sized movie room, and a spacious dining hall, they even have a special tub for those would like to enjoy a bath once in a while instead of a shower. My mother is on a special diet and the folks at Landon Ridge were anxious to accommodate her needs while providing tasty choices. I can honestly say that she's eating more regularly and enjoying healthier choices than at any other assisted living facility that she was a resident of. We were put at ease knowing that there are staffed nursing stations and experienced aids who enjoy caring for those in need. For example, my Mom needs a call pendent for assistance with minor tasks and the response is always immediate. They also organize activities that provide entertainment and social interaction that helps to keep her mind sharp. To say that Landon Ridge is well run is a vast understatement of the dedication and attention to detail we've experienced. From the moment you walk in you'll notice that the facility is well maintained, always clean (without the funky smells usually associated with these types of facilities), and with a staff that is keenly attentive to our needs and situation. It's location is very convenient for us, settled in a peaceful underdeveloped area of Kingwood, close to the hospital and clinics where my mother's doctor is located. The cost is very competitive with other facilities in the area and they were able to tailor a plan that fit our means. I'm thoroughly convinced that we made the right choice for my Mom by moving her to Landon Ridge. With our loved one residing there, we have the peace of mind that comes with knowing that Mom is not only loved and well cared for, she's in a place that affords her the highest quality of life in her remaining years.

Mom has been at Landon Ridge since June 2023. Mom and we have been very happy with the care and attention the staff provides, all are very personable. Mom has made many friends with residents, she's been so happy since she moved there. She is well cared for, the food is good, and they have social gatherings and multiple activities daily. We couldn't be happier with the staff, all of which I am very fond of. We highly recommend Landon Ridge for senior living.

Landon Rigde at Kingwood is an awesome place to live and work at. Starting upon entering this facility you feel truly a team that really cares for their residents, family members and employees! If i could give MORE than 5 stars i would. excellent customer service, residential care employees and did i mention the food menu,chef prepared 3 mouth watering meals daily.oh and you should come for a tour interior decorating in the entire building also LRK. Provides health care wokers i.e. nurses,med techs and top notch care partners so come 1 come all you wont regret the experience of Landing Ridge Kingwood,ps the Rehabilitation Department is in this community, here's to Great Health

My mom has been at Landon Ridge since December 2019 and is taken care of extremely well. She is happy, safe and overall in good spirits in the Memory Care section (as best as she can be). The staff is wonderful and attentive and always communicates with me about any concerns she may have when I am not there to visit. thanks for all you do, it is greatly appreciated.

We moved my 90 year old mother-in-law from Florida into Landon Ridge Kingwood Assisted Living in April 2022 to be closer to family and have been very pleased with the facility. Her room is open and bright with large windows in the living room and bedroom and the bathroom has a very roomy shower. She especially appreciates the kitchenette with a large refrigerator and sink. But the best part is how friendly, cheerful, and helpful the staff and residents are - everyone speaks to each other when passing in the halls. Management is very responsive and the front desk and nursing staff are very caring. Residents have welcomed her and invited her to sit with them at meals. There are many activities to participate in - we loved the Easter Celebration where families were invited to enjoy games, music, egg hunt, and an amazing lunch. Family is able to eat in the dining room with her and we have also attended the Friday happy hours with live music. We are very happy with her new home.

Let me just say - Thank you to the folks at Landon Ridge for being so caring towards my grandparents. The support and assistance from their staff is nothing short of amazing. I throughly enjoy the environment in the facility. I usually come to have lunch with them once a week, and i was pleasantly surprised the first time I tried the food, i believe it was spaghetti with Alfredo sauce. That made me really happy because that means they are eating well. Once again thank you all of the nurses and workers, you guys are superheroes!

I toured Landon Ridge today and it is a very clean and well kept facility. The management team that I met were helpful and friendly. The resident calendar was packed with fun activities and outings. It’s a beautiful place and definitely worth checking out if you are in the need for assisted living or memory care.

This community is so beautiful and the residents are so warm and active. From the moment you walk in and see the beautiful entry way and meet their amazing community you know this is a wonderful place to call home. They have 2 beautiful outdoor walking spaces (one is secured in memory care, I love that), a fully stocked library, theater room, a beautiful dining room with real flowers on the table, in community therapy and salon. There is nothing this community lacks for in need or want. They even had the CUTEST spring decorations I have ever seen. They have spacious rooms and an amazing memory care program.

We moved my mother to the facility on May 6th. The staff has been exceptional in handling her needs. Up until my recent visit all I have seen were pictures provided by my brother. I was impressed by the appearance of the facility and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a memory care facility for their family or anyone they know. My Mother is in her 5th year at Landon Ridge. My father and mother started out in a two bedroom apartment. After 2 1/2 years my father passed. The staff was very helpful and supportive during this difficult time. Mother then moved into a one bedroom apartment. A few months ago mom needed to move to memory care. All assisted living facility are going to have problems, it's how they handle the situation that makes the difference. The staff at Landon Ridge truly care about your love ones. They have worked with me on my problems and have found solutions. I would recommend them for your loved one or for yourself. When coming into the facility you will be greeted by a friendly, helpful concierge, Carlos.

My parents moved to Landon Ridge (a.k.a.Isle of Kingwood) in the beginning of June 2017. It was the first time they were back together since Moms fall 10-21-16 in Boerne,Tx. Mom Dad have been very happy even after moving from the hill country. I believe theyre still alive because theyve been together almost 3 years live a peaceful, happy, safe life in their home surrounded by friends which include residents employees. There are all kinds of activities but my parents favorites are exercise class, church, going out to lunch on the van-bus with amazing fun activity director, Gigi, their friend their favorite bus driver, Blanca, family. Mom Dad enjoy Friday Happy Hour with live music. Landon Ridge has survived Harvey a damaging flash flood. Of course its not immune to changes issues that happen in life. Landon Ridge-Sagora is committed to improving correcting all problems. Mark, current director, made certain my parents billing statements were correct rectified. He has an open door policy is committed to making Landon Ridge an ideal, pleasant home for all. I recommended Landon Ridge to my friend. Her mom is there now her dad is in respite temporarily. My sister I are very thankful for Landon Ridge.

I went in for a scheduled appointment today and Carolyn, Solution Specialist, showed me around this beautiful community. It was so clean and smelled wonderful. The staff was so kind and friendly, everyone we passed smiled and made me fell so welcome. Carolyn answered all of my questions and gave me a great tour. Andrea, the Executive Director is so personable and made me feel right at home. I would recommend this community to anyone that is looking for a homelike friendly assisted living community.

Everybody was nice when I came for a tour. They were professional at answering my questions and showing me around the facility. My parents wanted to keep their king size bed and the bedroom in the apartment was not large enough and they don't need assisted living yet. Overall it was a good tour but they could not meet our needs.

We did tour the Isle at Kingwood. They gave a nice presentation with lunch provided. They did not have the right type of accommodations we were looking for our parents. We were looking for true bedrooms separate from the living space.

We like the care of this community. The staff are very caring and let me know of any changes. The menu is good and the meals are very good. I like that he does like the activities with the other residents.
