DO NOT use this facility. Quote cheap and raise prices as you discuss needs. Would not accept our father the day before he arrived over 4th of July weekend. Did not perform physical assessment and canceled after we had set up his room. This was after we had written checks for $6300 and then got the runaround for 2 months before we received our money back.

I am a nurse with BROOKDALE HOSPICE... This place is awesome. The residents are always clean, never complaining they are hungry and the staff make their care personal to each individual resident. I love communicating with staff. They are cheerful and friendly.

Highly recommended!!! When it came time for the difficult decision of my father to move to a retirement community, we visited many before settling on Atria Kingwood, and that turned out to be an excellent choice. He feels completely at home, and marvels at the quality and care of the staff, food, and environment. Atria Kingwood is also just the right size, small enough to feel like a community without being tiny, big enough to offer a full range of amenities without getting lost in the crowd. It also has nice outdoor areas for walks. Again, most highly recommended!

Atria Kingwood is absolutely wonderful. The staff welcomed my mom and put her at ease during a dramatic life change. The uncertainty for my family quickly diminished over the initial weeks following move in through the authenticity, compassion and transparency shared by everyone involved at Atria. Mom is more active than she has been in years and loves participating with other residents in all the activities provided by Atria. Atria Kingwood is an absolute gem. I am extremely thankful for connecting with Atria and would highly recommend the facility to anyone facing the transition of a loved one into assisted living. Thank you Atria!!!

My mom has been staying at Atria Kingwood since July 31. It's an excellent place to stay. My mom gardens a lot so they have a garden area with my mom's name on it. They have rabbits and an aquarium. The place is very nice and clean. They have a chef and a very nice dining room with real china and cloth napkins. There's a really nice receptionist who greets you as you come in the door. During the flood, they kept sending emails and calling me and letting me know that Mom was OK. They have a bus with a nice driver that takes them shopping and to banks, a band comes in, Happy Hour, a library where they can do puzzles, and a washer and dryer area. You can pay for laundry services or they can do it themselves. I could not have picked a better place. Mom loves the food. She had her birthday party there, and the only thing I supplied was the cake. They supplied everything. All the people came out to say Happy Birthday, brought out lemonade for the family, and made us all feel welcome. My mom has her own apartment, and they clean it for her. She has a life alert around her neck and they come in and assist with her medications. They have a doctor who cuts their nails if they have diabetes and they also have a beautician who does their hair. I couldn't ask for any better.

Definitely a great place for your love one's, Staff was very helpful, teamwork was awesome and management didn't mind stepping in picking up slack if needed! They really appreciated their staff on all levels and The Residents well-being and safety matters first, awesome activity director at the time was really good, true place of peace! Very beautiful, Homey and Landscaping. Wish I could go back and work there, would go in a heartbeat. But unforeseen circumstances occurred with my car and for some strange reason, I'm not a Rehire!! But overall I would definitely recommend Atria Kingwood for your love ones??!

Atria Kingwood was outstanding, and I loved it. The staff and residents were very nice. The dining room looked like a hotel. The rooms looked like nice apartments. When I went there, it was happy hour and the residents were having drinks and snacks. There was singing with a church group and all the elderly people were there, even those in wheelchairs. They gave us delicious, freshly baked banana bread, which might have been a ploy to get me to sign up, but I appreciated the thought.

Atria Kingwood is absolutely the best place I've ever seen. It's very clean and they do a lot for the people in there. They have different departments depending on their ability. My friend is in the memory care unit, which is a closed area, and they can't go out without having someone to take them. They have activities for them, and it's just a wonderful place. Every Thursday, there are people coming in to sing and play guitars and pianos. The elderly are singing and happy. They treat my friend very nicely. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a white tablecloth, like being in a restaurant. It's excellent.

My husband is in Atria Kingwood. I like the facility, but I dont think they have enough staff to take care of the residents since there are only two per unit. They have a nurse practitioner, and theyre really trying to take care of my husband, but he gets combative and theres not a whole lot they can do with that.

Our experience with Atria Kingwood was very positive. The staff members we met were very friendly. Overall, our impression was not as good because it was smaller. It was a nice place, though. There were adequate activities, but being a smaller place, there was not a need for much.

The lady that took me around Atria Kingwood was awesome and wonderful to talk to. I really enjoyed the tour. She followed up with me but didnt bug me and offered help in any way that she could. The people were just a little bit more mobile than my mom. I am extremely impressed with the facility in general. It was beautiful. The rooms were very nice. They had a very active calendar which, in my opinion, is awesome for senior people. Atria would have been awesome, but theyre not suited for my mom.

My Mom has lived there in the Memory Care area for just over 7 months and has been very involved in the activites and is very happy. When she was living with us, she didn't get that involvment nor the socialization which she loves. She seems to have come out of her shell while living at Atria and seems happier than we have seen her in a long time. She has never complained about the food, nor have I when I have visited her for lunch. We are very impressed and happy with Atria.

So far Atria Kingwood is great for my mom. They are very courteous and diligent. They have also been pretty efficient in taking care of her. They check on her several times a day and gets her medicines all lined out. Her room is sufficient. Their dining room is nice. I havent eaten the food, but she seems to eat three meals a day there; she doesnt want to miss one, so that must be good. They basically have some activities for their residents probably every hour and a half from bingo to golf to happy hours. They have exercise, and they do a lot to promote for people to go out and socialize.

I liked the location of Atria Kingwood, but I did not like the layout of the apartments. They only had one-bedroom units. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and very nice. The dining area was fine. The facility was nice.

Atria was a very nice facility. I only saw the studio-size room, which would have been too small for my mother. The staff was excellent. They were very kind, informative, personable, and understanding. They interacted well with their clientele.

Atria Kingwood is a great community. I have been familiar witht the community since 2000 and it has always done a great job. There are many employees that have been working there for many years. It feels like home. Everyone is caring and polite.
