I cannot say enough good things about Cinco Ranch Alzheimer’s Special Care Facility. I toured several places before deciding on a place for my mom to go to. She had been at an assisted-living facility and required more care as her dementia had progressed. I did get a very good feeling about this place from the very beginning. Everyone was very accommodating as far as showing me all around and answering tons of questions and all of the residents looked very well cared for. I moved my mom in January and was concerned about her declining since she does not handle changes very well. Me and my son drop in to visit at different times of the day in different days and I can say that I truly believe that everyone is well taken care of at this facility. A special shout out to Dominique, which is the head nurse at this facility. She is open to communication at any time of the day if there is any issues that need to be discussed, etc., and is on top of things. She juggles a lot and fantastic at her job!! Although all of the staff seems to care for everyone very well, Lyric Is a very special caretaker. It is obvious when people do their job and do it well and then there are some that are just Incredible, and do more than what is required. She is an exceptional caregiver and I’m blown away by her!! It’s not something that is staged for the family, etc. I have walked around the facility when people don’t know you’re watching or paying attention and she is above and beyond incredible. Tonya, which is the activities director is the same way! She is absolutely outstanding! She goes out of her way to get residents involved and creates fun atmosphere by not just setting up activities but making herself a big part of the activities and making them so much fun! The office staff is great as well. Julie is easy to work with and very nice. I feel totally comfortable and I’m very confident my mom is in great care and that is priceless and makes my heart so happy!! Way to go Cinco Ranch!! I love you all!!

I recently toured Tranquil Home Care while looking for a home and I was thoroughly impressed. From the begin of the tour till the very end I felt the warm atmosphere and the accommodating approach (homely feel). It is obvious managment prioritize dignity and comfort here. However I particularly enjoy coming to this community because of how pretty and clean and welcoming it is when you first walk in. The staff are happy to assist you and the residents as well. The residents are engaged in some type of activity most of the day. The rooms are nice and well kept. And the residents seem very relaxed and at home.

My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2021, and making this decision is never easy. However; Elizabeth was extremely patient and thorough in explaining the process during this challenging time. Recently I visited for an marketing event/Ornament Exchange and I was super impressed. As soon as I walked in the front door, the place was super clean and the staff was genuinely nice. I toured the facility and the residents were happy and content. During the Ornament Exchange 2 residents even joined us, and that made me even more impressed. When the employees love what they do from the ED on down, you can tell and it makes a world of difference! Our seniors need to be reminded daily that we care and love them, and you guys definitely show that!

If you are looking for a community to care for an aging loved one, I highly recommend Cinco Ranch Alzheimer Special Care Center. The campus is well maintained and curated. Activities abound daily for their residents, and everyone is seemingly addressed on a first name basis which impressed me. Elizabeth Ross provided me with an informative tour with several options that could work for a loved one. LaQuinta Haley-Gilliam has been quick to respond when I have had questions. I love the neighborhood around Cinco Ranch Alzheimer SCC, it's just a gorgeous area, low on crime and big on family.

It was very impressive to me when I entered the facility for the first time that it was not a sense of bad smell at all! I have been in and out a lot of long term care facilities for work, and I can tell this facility is above my expectation. I came back for more visits and the facility still remained clean without any bad smell, which meant the staffs really cares for the residents all the time. They have different activities for residents who have different levels of illness and keep them active with outdoor/indoor games. They also have physical therapy to work on those who need to improve strength/ balance/ safety to reduce risk of injury.

He was patient with our questions and didn't look at his watch as if he had something else to do. We really appreciate this treatment. Words alone cant adequately express my gratitude for the entire Cinco Ranch staff and in Particular, Ana Torchez and Stacy Goebert in finance. My folks were residents of a memory care facility that turned out to be a nightmare before I moved them to Cinco Ranch. Once we made the decision to move, Ana made the entire transition process easy , smooth, and even provided the transportation. While my parents were in the care of the Cinco Ranch staff, the treatment , food, communication and over all care was outstanding and exceeded expectations. Anyone looking for a care facility for a loved one should be redundant with their research before committing to a facility. Some are no better than a state run offering which IMO, are horrible. Not the case with Cinco Ranch. I would strongly recommend Cinco based on the cleanliness, adequate staffing ( bi-lingual in some cases) and the astute well trained staff. Being 2000 miles away, Ana and her staff provided me with piece of mind and comfort in knowing my parents were in great hands! 5 Stars all around!!

I can’t say enough good things about Cinco Ranch Alzheimer’s Specialty Care Center. My dad has lived there for a few years now. He moved in before the COVID shutdowns. I have been grateful that my dad has been well-cared before and throughout COVID, in spite of many challenges that are beyond the control of the staff. I see him and talk with him on the phone pretty regularly. Not once have I sensed him to be in distress. That’s amazing to me! I cannot imagine how the staff handles all of the challenging dynamics there (with and without COVID), AND they still smile a lot! I’m incredibly grateful for the care my dad receives in what we see as a difficult period in his life. From what I can tell, he doesn’t see it as such since he doesn’t remember enough to know what he’s missing, and he’s so well cared for and content. Thank you, Cinco Ranch! While y’all are not perfect (as no center is), y’all get a whole lot of things (the most important things) right!! I’m grateful.

Wonderful Care for My Mom Reading the negative reviews inspired me to submit one of my own. My mother has been at Cinco Ranch for over two years. I could not have asked for a better group of people to care for my mother. When we discovered Mom has Alzheimer's and we began this long sad journey I was at a loss as to how we would take care of her. Then I found Cinco Ranch and it has been a wonderful fit for Mom. Sure there have been challenges along the way I believe this would be true no matter which facility we chose for care. No one would take care of her like we would but we simply are not equipped to meet her needs. There is NOTHING easy about the journey of loving and caring for someone with this cruel disease. My mother was a nurse and spent the majority of her life taking care of elderly people with cognitive issues. Each time I go for a visit she asks me 10 times how long she has lived at Cinco Ranch. I tell her and then follow up with the question "Are they taking pretty good care of you?" That always brings a broad smile to her face with a "Yeah They are." I know there are those who would question her ability to give a fair assessment of her level of care given her condition. If you knew my mom you would know what I know to be true. Yes they take very good care of her. A son knows what a son knows and I know my mother. Few things are more important to her than good care for the elderly. Chris manages a great staff. From the time I walk in the door everyone from the manager to the maintenance staff treats me like family. Everyone treats me in a courteous and professional manner
