They are always short workers. When you pressed the call button it takes any where between 15-30 minutes for someone to come to the room.

I want to say thank to the awesome staff at this facility. I wish I could give them 10 stars! They were very friendly and professional at all times. I likes that this home was always clean and kept in excellent condition.The food was better than a five star restaurant brakefast lunch and dinner. I wouldn't recommend another place to send a loved one. Special thanks goes to my PT Helen and Alexis. My recovery nurses Lerline Robin Adrian Betty Joann Margie Tiara and Linda. I can't forget about my Med nurses Feda Tunde and Yemi.Ms. Vanessa Mr.Robert were always attentive to my needs and concerns Honestly I can go on naming names because everyone had been part of my recovery. I couldn't do it without you. If ever need another nursing facility again I'll be coming back here. Thanks again for my speedy recovery

My love one has resided in this nursing facility for 3 years or more. I have been very pleased with her level of care. I have always been made aware of any and ALL changes with her condition. She has received exceptional care while residing here. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking to entrust their love one in the hands of others. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and odor free. THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE WONDERFUL STAFF!

I love this Facility! My family put my grandmother in when she started to decline, and it had been truly life changing for us. It's a beautiful facility, and my grandmother seems to enjoy the company, be it the activities with the other residents, or the treatment and care from staff. If your loved ones need long term care, I would highly recommend Villa Toscana, they'll take good care of you there!

The staff is so loving and caring they mean the world to me and many others. the activity director is the best she has activities for us for everything. I had the opportunity of absolute recovery at this facility a year ago April into early June of 2022 but didn’t get a chance to write a review until nowwell better late than never! I received the best physical therapy from Chris and occupational therapy from Helen. Cruz is the absolute best! Kim and Lori and Melinda were wonderful nurses and everything and anything else that needed to be provided! Nurse Adrian knows her stuff and always provided excellent service! Vanessa, the activity coordinator always included me in planned activities eventhough I wasn’t a resident! Antonio, always wore the most reassuring smile! I had the best experience at Villa Toscana! They are an amazing team and were very instrumental in my journey to recovery! Thank you so much for being God’s angels!

My Sister is a resident there at Villa Toscana and we have had a positive experience so far with them. The nurses have been so kind and very informative to me. They show concern and compassion. The admissions staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Stephanie and Brenda that I have met. Stephanie really helped me so much with all the paperwork involved and she was always available if I had a question. Everyone I have come across have been super nice. They have made a very positive change in my Sister and she is so happy there.

Im saddened to say that my mother died here... since her transfer 2 months before, she was no where near the level of happiness and joy she once received next door at Pathways... she became very depressed in the repression received... Please note, In my opinion Villa is a rehab center not designed for memory care... The residents in memory care are in a quickly renovated "locked down" wing with no access to TV (which i was informed could have a negative and adverse effect on their mental stability.. bs), missing interaction with others in a common area where their is a TV and sitting area along with no access to exercise or receiving the sunlight from outdoors. They are limited to their 1 hallway left gazing through the locked glass doors to the life in the common area which they once enjoyed next door across the way... truly caged in and awaiting death.. their dinning room is a converted patient room, the common siting area is a converted patient room... there is no stimulation nor exercise that I observed ... nor any room to exercise... they just walk back and forth with purse on shoulder and tennis shoes ready waiting the opportunity to enjoy the common area and to live as they once did. In fact, I would say the residents are encouraged to stay in bed... the poor souls I saw who remembered me all asked what they did wrong to be locked up in this place... they do remember the open spaces they came from, the roaming and walking of areas freely and the enjoyment of what little life they have left.. though their memory might be an issue, they are still human and their minds do enjoy life and the right to human dignity... do note, the nursing staff were supporting and attentive but they are also limited to this same locked in area as the residents.. making sure no one exists into the common area.. As for the accounting person, I was rudely and embarrassingly approached in a very unprofessional manner in a very public area concerning money "I owed"... sad to say, there was an error on their invoice... I gladly paid in full the next day... Never was an apology given for their mistake nor the unprofessionalism displayed... A very faux perception of the new management and makes one wonder who is actually running this facility... Villa truly needs to consult with and take lessons from Pathways Memory Care and Assisted Living next door... Again, in my opinion, and as I owe it to my friends who are still current residents and whose voices are muted and cannot be heard, until they change their mentality, practice and playbook of how memory care patients are treated, cared for and loved, DO NOT PLACE YOUR DEAR ONES HERE! It is a caged in excessively limited depressing environment ...which could lead to their early demise . Just my opinion.....

I moved my Mom to Villa about two weeks ago. I have to say....Danette in the Admissions office is simply the sweetest and most attentive person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She's been extremely helpful before, during and after the move. Brenda, who is also in Admissions has been wonderful to me, as well as the Activities director Shirlie. I wish every facility could have folks like these working for them....but trust me....they don't. My thanks goes out to them all....and also for all that they do.

I was not happy with the service I received. They are very nice when they want you to put your love one in the facility. They tell you everything you want to hear. After, a couple of days, everything is down hill. The only person that was very considerate and helpful was the wound doctor. You never get anyone when you call and they dont return calls.

The Villa Toscana at Cypress Wood deserves five STARS for its professional care. And the staff deserves Four GOLD METALS. I would recommend this facility for Skilled nursing ,Rehabilitation and long-term care.

Some of the staff member are great, ready to help, while others are not. The location of the place is nice. Food is served on time and hot. I saw some outstanding staff helping, feeding with a lot of patience and love our elderly ones. I will recommended this but their is a staff member that stole from my love one room. We all reported and some of the staff looked around the room and said they will continue looking for and it was not found or replace.

so-so. Employees offer but don't follow through. Med aide wouldn't listen to me about insulin injections. Blood sugars and insulin not given in timely manner. Medications schedule different from day to day. dessert Building is mostly kept clean and orderly. Food is good and served timely. Menu not followed--I asked for iced tea and water and got it myself!! Often didn't get my dessert. Very lackadaisical!!! Good PT and OT. Enjoyed my stay and glad it wasn't as long as predicted.

My grandmother came to Villa initially to start rehab while undergoing radiation treatments for cancer. During her time in rehab all of the Physical and Occupational Therapists were amazing-upbeat and worked hard with all of their patients. There are always social activities for the residents to attend. The food service was great--residents are encouraged to eat in a beautiful cafeteria or can elect to eat in their rooms. The staff is great at getting the food orders in a timely manner. Unfortunately during her stay, my grandmother's cancer progressed rapidly and she had to start hospice care. Even though she was no longer doing therapy, the therapists would still stop by her room to say hello. Another review stated there were problems with waiting an extraordinary long time for the call light to be answered. This was not our experience at all-the time for the call light to be answered was comparable to any hospital setting I have ever experienced. My grandmother would always get her medications on time as scheduled. Also, the aides who helped change and bathe her were very sweet and caring and the room was always kept very clean. In fact the whole facility is clean and during our almost one month that stay, the staff became like family.

Initially, there was some trepidation by my son about being dumped in a "nursing home" after abdominal surgery, primarily because of concern that my rehabilitation needs would not be met. However, it was exactly the opposite. Everybody at Villa Toscana was very nice, I got timely and appropriate physical therapy to regain my strength, and the food was good. I would strongly recommend this institution for anybody seeking a relatively low level of rehabilitation needs.
