My mother-in-law has been a resident at Auberge at Vintage Lake for several weeks, and we have been so very pleased. Sometimes there is a feeling of desperation, trying to get somebody who has significant memory issues into a safe and loving situation. I want you to know from the bottom of our hearts that we are thrilled with the quality of the staff. They are so kind and caring, and treat my wife’s mother like family. They are long suffering and patient. We feel so good about her being here, and when we visit, she seems to be doing great. The facility itself is an upbeat happy place almost seems like a cruise ship. I think that it is as hopeful and cheerful a place that deals with this challenging realm as I have ever seen. I highly recommend it! Marc and Suzanne Calvert

This memory care facility is WONDERFUL! Very professionally managed and the staff is so friendly. The activities are handled by Tammi Moss and she loves working with memory care residents. The staff is also very professional and very friendly, thanks to the leadership of their Executive Director Eddy, the front desk Sargent’ Nell, and other leaders like Shirley, , Dominique, Liz, just to mention a few. Every staff member deserves recognition, but I don’t remember all of their names so I’m sorry for those I haven’t mentioned. But they know who I’m referring to. My wife’s attitude has done a 180 degree turn since moving here. I can unequivocally recommend The Auberge at Vintage Lake!

My MIL lived there for about a month, the communication was horrible and her treatment wasn't much better. My MIL got a UTI which made her very anxious, paranoid and angry. We could no longer care for her at home and decided to find a memory care facility for her safety. Auberge seemed great and looks nice, but they didn't know how to handle her and ended up sending her to the psych ward later that month (October). They didn't explain why and we have yet to receive a call to this day. My MIL spent 3 weeks adjusting to new medication and was back to her loving, sweet self! When it came to her release from the psych ward, Auberge had to re-access her before coming back. They were given about 4-5 days notice from the social worker. Auberge was VERY hesitant and waited until the last day to schedule it. Most of this was communicated through text with Auberge (apparently they didn't have time for a phone call) and the social worker. At that point we had to find my MIL a new home just in case Auberge didn't approve her coming back in and frankly, we didn't want her going back to a place that doesn't communicate or show any care or excitement to have her back. The only positive feedback I can give is the nurse's in her "neighborhood" were nice and did communicate with us when we visited. Other staff didn't really say much to us, they did when we toured, but not after that. I think it's cruel how dismissive they were of my MIL because she was more difficult than others. They can't handle the tough side of Alzheimers. There are plenty of memory care facilities in this area, don't send your loved one to this one!

Today with a broken heart, I had to move my mom out of her home of the past 6 years. I’m feeling very betrayed by The Auberge at Vintage Lake. They have been my Alzheimers impaired mom’s home for six years. The staff members are beautiful people and have cared for and loved my mom like she was their own mom. I love them all for the love and care they have given to my mom for all these years. But the corporate management owners have made the decision, from afar with no compassion, to kick her out. It’s all about the money for them. My mom is 94 & 1/2 years old & we don’t know how much time she has left. After six years of this being her home & her extended family, she is being thrown out because she doesn’t have enough money to pay the additional $1000 a month increase in her care cost. You would think with her being on Hospice care that The Auberge could demand less money. I know that the staff members on site are as heartbroken as I am but it’s out of their control. Senior citizens live on a fixed income and don’t get $1000 a month increases in their income. My mom’s 401k funds ran out 1 1/2 years ago so now she is solely dependent on her social security & a small VA medical pension. When SS gives her that tiny little COLA increase of maybe $25 to $50 a month, the VA makes a decrease of that amount so she never gets a cost of living increase. I just want to advise this, be very careful when making your decisions about the care you choose for your loved ones. Change is very difficult for them. If they out live their financial assets it’s an ugly world out there. Maybe smaller independently owned homes with less corporate salaries to pay could be a wiser choice. Senior citizens & their families should not be put through this. So for my review of The Auberge at Vintage Lake I give the care givers and local staff (except for the current manager) a 5++++ star review! They are exceptional and I love them!. I give the current manager & the management company a 0- - - - review. Choose wisely

Beautiful building, friendly staff, caring aids but what matters most is the quality of care of residents. The new nurse manager Michelle, encharged of ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to residents is very detail oriented. In my opinion, The Aubergue at Vintage lake just increased its average rating from 4.6 to 4.9 w/the acqusition of the new nurse manager; the quality of care now will be impeccable.

Such a clean, quaint and cute community. I read to the residents weekly and have been in and out of this community for years. Always has been a safe and welcoming place. Nurse Michelle knows her stuff and advocates for her residents. The rest of the staff and caregivers and activity director are all so attentive. Many have been in the community for years. I.e., Nell, who greets you as you walk in, has been there forever . Which I think says a lot about this community.

Mom's current memory care folded, we have scrambled to find a better home, now that we know what to look for and believe it is Auberge. Auberge certainly does not look like a warehouse for seniors with memory issues. Consideration for each patient's wellbeing, activities, menu; mom is going to be real happy...

We were lucky to find The Auberge for my elderly mom with memory loss. The feeling of family is apparent as soon as I walk in the front door and am always greeted warmly. She is well cared for on a day to day basis and enjoys the many activities such as bingo , the music performers that play for the residents and much more. The well rounded 3 meals a day is always a highlight for her as well.

My father moved to the Auberge at Vintage Lake 2 1/2 months ago. I toured 8 facilities before choosing the Auberge. Our experience has been great. Every concern I’ve had has been addressed immediately. There is an unprecedented level of professionalism & genuine concern from the Director level all the way down to the maintenance team. The caregivers are a notch above what I’ve seen elsewhere. They take time to listen and understand my father’s needs. I visit my father 2-4 times a week and have found that the residents are well cared for. They feel comfortable, happy (mostly-dementia has ups and downs) and at home. I moved my father two other times before finding the Auberge at V.L. and he couldn’t be happier or more content. Liam is a good listener and will take great care of you should you choose to tour the facility. Having a loved one in a facility can be extremely challenging and stressful. Since my father moved in, my level of peace and confidence in where he is has continued to grow. Partnering with the Auberge has been the best decision we could have made.

Liam was very attentive and sat with us for an hour and listened and answered all of our questions. We never felt rushed and he's an asset to his team. The facility was beautiful and designed well. It's definitely at the top of our list of tours so far. It's very obvious how much the staff love what they do and how much they care about the residents and their families. They go above and beyond for families to feel comfortable and secure during a difficult time. Very impressed.

An unfortunate fall mid-year 2022 resulted in my mother requiring surgery along with extensive therapy and around the clock care. Early 2023 I walked into her room at another facility with lax care for the last time. I toured 5 facilities and decided to move her post haste. Mom entered Auberge @ Vintage Lake February 2023 requiring Level 4 (high level care). Within 9 months the care and effort of the entire staff at Auberge resulted in an improvement to Level 1 (lowest required level care). The innovative SPARK Program at Auberge promotes interaction and involvement with the many on-site activities. No more sitting in a room waiting for time to pass. From the moment you enter the facility, you are greeted with smiles at the front desk, great office staff, excellent food service and the activity coordinating is unparalleled. The facility is well maintained and clean at all times. Mom’s room is always clean and organized. Mom is flourishing under the care of the Auberge staff and rehabilitation crew. It is the first time in years that I can sleep knowing Mom is well cared for. The entire team on property are true professionals and truly care about the residents. I couldn’t be happier with the decision to move Mom to Auberge @ Vintage Lake.

My mother has been a resident of The Auberge at Vintage Lake for over a year now. We chose this facility over four that we interviewed, and are so happy we did. The executive director Raquel Medina, has done an amazing job assembling a caring and compassionate staff that truly care for the residents like family. From Nell, who greets you as you enter the facility, to Brenda the HSD to Sawraj the LVN to each of the individual care givers and med-techs, we’ve had nothing but positive experiences in our interactions and observations of their care for our mother. The facility itself is beautiful and extremely well maintained, but it’s the culture, the parties, activities and celebrations that keep the residents engaged and made to feel special. We feel so fortunate that Mom is here.

This place was heaven sent! My mom had a stroke and we needed to find a place after she left the hospital. My siblings and I (seven of us) met with Maria and loved her and the community there. We signed my mom up that day, as we did not want to loose her spot. Sadly, after the nurse from Auberge assessed my mom in the hospital, it was decided she needed higher care than what Auberge could give. However, Auberge/Maria continued to be an angel and assisted us with finding my mom a rehab place. The compassion and care continued even though my mom was going to be live there. This place was loving, warm, clean and great staff! Thank you Maria for being heaven sent and helping me and my family!

My mom had a stroke and we didn’t know our next steps. My mom was still in the hospital and could not use her right side of her body and we knew she couldn’t go back to her previous home. My siblings and I met with Maria for a tour. We loved the warmth of the community. We loved the sweetness of the staff and residence. All 7 of us agreed to move forward with securing my mom a spot for my mom after she would leave the hospital. Unfortunately, after the nurse from Auberge came to assess my mom we all realized she needed more one on one or a higher care than what Auberge could give my mom. However, Maria was so sweet to assist us to find a rehab place for her. Maria was an angel in guiding us in the best direction for my mom! I can not say enough good things about this location.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Do NOT trust your loved ones with the Auberge. My fathers room constantly smelled like pee, we found a fallen resident in his bathroom in the dark and no one knew he was there until we alerted the staff, many of his clothes went missing or he would be wearing other people’s clothes, many times he wouldn’t by shaved or cleaned up. The list goes on. My dad is 6’4” tall. Most of his life he was well over 200 pounds. After he left the Auberge he weighed 136 pounds. They were slowly starving him to death. If the dementia didn’t kill him, that would have. Their excuse/response for his weight loss was how often he walked the halls. Yes, he was walking a lot, but that means he needed more calories to supplement that. Yet, he was given the same serving as a small woman in a wheelchair. We asked they supplement him with protein shakes, yet those would still be in his fridge untouched when we would come visit. RIDICULOUS!! The staff was always nice, but the level of care was ridiculous. My father deserved better. Just because his mind was gone, didn’t mean he didn’t still deserve dignity. Do not take your loved ones here.

Med management is very worrisome. Needs to be addressed . Once that is I will have a better review. Cold meals is another problem residents and their families have a bad time with. No. Working TV’s, fireplaces, and speakers for music. Cleanliness of residents rooms is not so great. My dad got COVID Amad the Flu after three weeks of being there. Not getting psych meds DAILY is very dangerous. And insulin needs better monitoring. When these are taken care of I will love this place.

I am posting my dad's comments below. Raquel Medina (Executive Director) is a very special person. I have taken care of my Aunt and my Mother for a total of 20 years working with other Directors and Communities. I know a special person and what it takes to be a Great Director. She is. Her concern and personal attention to working with family members is off the chart. She always has time. She always communicates in clear answers. She educates and above all makes the family feel that Auberge Cares. Special, no she is beyond Special. Her full Attention and Heart to making life better for the Resident and Family is clear. I sincerely hope Auberge sees these same qualities in her. God Bless, Lewis Goodrich

The Director, Raquel Medina combines professional skill with a warm and caring approach to elders and their families. I hold her in high regard and have nothing praise for her as an individual and for the skill she demonstrates on a daily basis. Thank you Raquel for your service to our family.

I feel at ease knowing my Mom is being cared for at The Auberge. The staff is always cheerful and kind to both my family and the other residents. I love that there always seems to be an activity, or something going on. My Mom is always encouraged to join others, rather than sitting alone in her room. The staff is professional, caring and hardworking. I would recommend The Auberge for your loved ones. I feel my Mom is at the best place she could be.

Staff is very caring and engaged with residents. They have daily activities to engage the residents; sing, dance, karaoke, pool, shuffleboard, exercise, arts and crafts, happy hour, cooking club just to name a few.

The staff at The Auberge at Vintage Lake is fantastic. They’ve been there and stayed there through all of the recent changes. They are innovative with their activities for their residents as well as with their approach to memory care. The tenure of the nursing department shows in the way that they take care of their residents. The community is full of life and the residents are loved. You can feel that when you enter Main Street. Keep doing the rockstar job that you all are, team. It is definitely noticed.

The transition has been seamless so far. We still have the same loving caring people taking care of our loved ones, and I have both parents here so I am very grateful. Way to go team! <><

I am so happy to see that the long time Silverado management and staff have remained in place as the building transitioned to Auberge. Thankfully the tremendous care of the residents will still be as caring and skillful as ever.
