I must admit that from the outside it looks like a creepy old building that doesn't look like a place to be rehabilitated in but you never judge a book by its cover. My mother has been there for quite a few years now with dementia. She passed away May 3, 2024. I would like to thank all the nurses the caregivers the hospice people that took care of her and we're so kind to her and her last days. a special thanks to Miss Deborah,The event coordinator was so nice and so loving so caring for my mom. There's no words to express how grateful I am. Thank you so much for The giving of your time and the amount of care that you gave her. May God bless

My mother Evelyn Walters was a resident at Sharpview for three years, she passed away on April 7, 2024. I would like to thank everyone at Sharpview for the loving kindness they have shown my mother and I during her stay. Thanks to a call from east wing nurse Geraldine, I was able to be by my mother's side when she peacefully passed. From the day I walked into the facility I knew this was a good environment for my mother. My initial contact with administration was amazing. They walked me through every step of the process, were knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. I observed how everyone working there, administration, maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen staff and rehabilitation interacted with the residents. They all functioned together as a family, and were genuinely concerned with the well being of the residents. I was so impressed that I became a volunteer 8 hours a week organizing games with Debra Williams the activities director. She is dedicated to her residents and I wanted to be a part of it all, it was a wonderful way to spend time with my mother. Wanda, the director of nursing, and her staff of nurses and CNA's, are exceptional people! They all deserve the utmost respect for how they treat patients with grace, dignity, and respect. The nurses and CNA's are loved by the residents who feel the love and genuine concern they show. I know them all by name and will forever be grateful to them. Sharpview is fortunate to have found such dedicated nurses and CNA's; they are truly a bright light in the world!

My grandpa was here and the staff took really good care of him. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. We had to move him back to his hometown with the rest of his family, but I highly recommend Sharpview for your loved ones. Very compassionate hood people here.

A diamond in the rough. Dealing with all of this for my mom has been so daunting. In the midst of the heartache of the red tape associated with long term care, Sharpview Residence reached out to us and gave us hope when we were at our wits end. Then they made it happen. They welcomed mom in to their facility! There is such an incredible energy within the walls. Everyone that works their is so kind, gentle and caring. We are always greeted with a smile. Any time we have questions, they are quick to answer us and even give us guidance when dealing with certain situations. Before Sharpview Residence, I felt like there was no hope for my mom. Now, I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I thank God for this place and everyone in it!

I am in the process of finding a new home for my elderly father and new to this process. Although I have not yet had an opportunity to visit the facility b/c I live out in California, I can say that my several lengthy phone conversations with Martha, the admissions director, has been wonderful. I must have asked her over 20 questions alone on the 1st conversation. She was patient, understanding, empathetic was kind enough to educate me about this new world my parents are entering. Unbeknownst to me, my mother had already visited the center and texted me later that same day to say that she toured the facility twice and gave it a thumbs up. Debra, the activities director, took her time showing my mom around, both times. Knowing that my mother gave her approval of Sharpview means everything. This is the place her husband and loving companion of over 50 years she has chosen for him to reside. I contacted the hospital my father is currently at and they told me they are already in contact with Martha and have gotten the process started to transfer my father when the doctors say he's ready. Martha called me back to keep me in the loop of the communication between her and the hospital. She put me at ease as she assured me she would take care of the paperwork, hospital transfer, medicaid, and other logistics. All in all so far I am very pleased with the service and attention they have given to my mother and I via in person, phone conversations and email. My mother says she likes the facility and staff and I am looking forward to visiting them in person very soon.

It's a place I call home.. It's my family. I love everyone here.. It's a place full of caring staff. Hard working CNA'S.. WE HAVE FUN AND ENJOY PARTIES AND GAMES.. WE GO OUT ON TRIPS. NEVER A BORING DAY.. I've been here almost 2 years.. NEVER been treaty disrespectful.. Thank you Sharpveiw for my home and my new FAMILY.
