The staff at Lone Star Living are THE nicest people you will ever meet. They go over and beyond to help for their community. Two thumbs up way way up for Vanna and Frank! The food is homemade and the grounds are clean. The fountain is well kept and the residents are happy and safe. Lots and lots of activities to do and the driver is always available. Fun field trips, shopping, run errands and they will take you to your Dr.'s appointments. Check this lovely place out. -Kelly

A beautiful senior community, but everything in the kitchen to my apartment is downsized except the big kitchen sink taking space where the compact dishwasher ought to be were it 2/5 size. Cleaning dishes by hand is inconvenient in the 21st century.

I wouldn't recommend them. They lie about a 2 year rent freeze they don't put it the contract when you sign. The contract is only available online which makes it difficult for the senior citizens to access. They threaten you with rent increase when residents talk to each other about their rates. The transportation bus is broken down more than it works so don't rely on them

As a friend, I have found this place for Diane. I love how all of the staff are very helpful and professional. They treat Diane as a family, and management goes above and beyond. I understand that this is an independent living, but they always accommodate for their residents. I highly recommend this place.

I have visited this assisted living facility a number of times now and given presentations to the residents, and I have found it to be a very well maintained and helpful environment. As an Elder Law Attorney of over 26 years, I have had the opportunity to visit a number of places and this place has impressed me. The Activities Director shines in her role and her desire to be a positive presence.

I am a musician who performs there on a monthly basis. It is a delightful experience for me to work with such a wonderful staff. The residents always seem to be so happy. I watch the way Eiline interacts with the residents. They are always treated like family with love and respect. Frank always interjects his fabulous sense of humor and the residents love him. He often gets up to sing with me when I perform. Eiline and Frank both make my job easier by the way they interact with me and the residents. Eiline has such a sweet demeanor. She was born to do her job. It's a pleasure to work with such fine people at such a fine establishment... Jason James

My mom lived here 4 1/2 years. It was home. Everyone loved her. They treated her as family. She passed away recently and they cared for us every step of the way with the warmest arms. Can't say enough how much it meant. Margaret, Frank and Vana are angels. If additional care is needed I cannot over recommend highly enough Sara and Habtu. They looked after her care on a day to day basis and took care as if their own mother. In my sadness, I'm grateful for all of these people that were in our lives.

This senior living facility is the best for seniors, I work for a local primary care physician who specializes in seniors. I visit several senior living facilities around houston and I can honestly say this is the best place for a seniors to live, the staff really takes care of the seniors and to me it feels like a huge family living together. I really enjoy sponsoring fun activities and provide care for the residents here.

Since the day 3 years ago that I found this wonderful place for my brother, I realized this was a different kind of independent living. This was a place who cares about their residents. I had another brother here who unfortunately passed away this month. The 2 managers here, Frank and Vanna, have been so helpful, kind, compassionate and understanding. Because my husband and I have had to clean out the apartment, we have seen Frank and Vanna interact with the residents at various times. They are wonderful with them! My brother interacts with both of them and he just loves them! They have always been available to us for whatever we have needed. They are very proud of this beautiful community. You can tell because the beautiful grounds are always so well-kept. The main thing for me is how wonderful, patient and kind they both are with the residents. I tell them quite often how they go the extra mile because in this day and time, it is so rare. They tell me "it's our job and these people are our family". And it's obvious that this is how they really feel. Frank and Vanna have earned 20 stars each from me, my husband and my brother. if it was possible!!

If you have loved one need a place to live. This is the place. Frank and Vanna are these best managers. They treat every resident as their family members. They dont mind doing extra for their residents. They just go beyond what they can do for the residents. Eileen is director activity. She is so sweet. Just love these people there.

Food, AWFUL! Salty, Fatty, not made for SENIORS with issues. Have to buy my own food, and still I pay for the food I can't eat. BED BUG INFESTED Building after building having the issue - management WILL NOT HEAT TREAT the whole complex, which is why there will be MORE BED BUGS -- DON'T MOVE HERE! TREMENDOUS STAFF TURNOVER! NO ONE TRULY CARES. If they did, they would do what it takes to get rid of the BED BUGS! They have caused a rash, my mental state is declining, and was just told they will spray and buy a new bed. THAT WON"T STOP BED BUGS. .. .. I WILL contact the health dept as something needs to be done.

The activities are plenty. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are helpful. The food is fantastic! I love that my Aunt has made new friends and is able to eat meals with them daily. She never wants for anything. I apreciate the communities covid response to keep its residents and staff members safe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very happy here ! I have been here 3 months. So far so good ! Its a great community for pets, they have a great dog park and the grounds are beautiful. The apartments are very nice and the price is even better. I also love the food. Highly recommend.

Friendly residents make the new comers feel welcomed, the management is also friendly helpful, while remaining professional. Food in the dining room is delicious satisfying. Community activities offer great variety, even through the current COVID-19 restrictions. I recommend Lone Star Living to everyone I know.

Dont particularly like Management. Allowed me to be taken by Houston Fire Dept.without proper documentation. I was NOT delusional as Dr Clyburn had claimed. I fought hard and loud.Finally went along as I felt I was being protected from the Sociopath, Kimberly Colbert Gebert Schiff. Kimberly has Criminal record in Huntington Beach, CA. Copy sent to Methodist Hospital to their Anti-Fornication Dept c-o Dr. Ramana Surya, who works on contract there.
